Apparently mojo Might not have been the person to sing in her new song, or it was heavily attuned to the point that it no longer even is her voice. For more information you can look it up on tin Tok, and you can see her singing an Olivia Rodrigo song with much easier notes to hit. in which she failed to hit those notes. Then not long after realizing her song which has MUCH HIGHER and harder notes to hit. which I find very funny in regards to this video...

The asbestos is actually connected to Claire’s, the company that sold them. While Claire’s refused to recall their makeup cause they didn’t care but the Jojo Siwa team did recall and issue refunds of the products so they actually handled that how they’re supposed to.

@@Louis_McClung Yeah, asbestos deposits are fairly common in talc mines (something very common in many powder-based cosmetic products) so if talc miners and makeup manufacturers are sloppy asbestos can make its way into product. I think this is more on claires in this instance but shouldn't overshadow that jojo was connected to this product :)
@narekhakobyan9343 I'd argue that 16 is still old enough to know, that's considered an adult in many countries legally. And like, it's a bit absurd to me that someone wouldn't have heard of goddam asbestos. But that might be just me.

Right? Like it just isn't really true in most cases, or the "profit" is negligible, especially in the fave of the revelation when a well-liked celebrity turns out to be a horrible person.
Plus, is it even a bad thing in the first place? If you can capitalize on internet drama or call out horrible people, even if it's a little clickbaity, I'd view that as a good thing. Or at the very least neutral.
Like if you constantly post absurd rage bait, that's a different story, but if you're just offering your opinion or capitalizing on actually petty drama, all the power to you I say!

It astounds me to no end that after all of the mental abuse she went through on Dance Moms, instead of deciding to break the cycle of how abusive the dance world is, she became exactly like Abby Lee Miller. I think she desperately needs therapy and needs to work through how being a child star, being subjected to constant mental abuse at the hands of her teachers, and how being coerced into being in so many friendships with content creators who were ADULTS as a child has really impaired her judgement and stunted her maturity. Part of me feels bad for the little girl she was, before all of the shit happened. Now all I see when I look at her is someone who doesn’t know how to move past her childhood image unless she’s getting into a controversy or using some sort of shock value.
Narcissism is a coping mechanism against trauma, after all. Identifying with your abuser is a common occurrence.

it’s just another case of groomed and abused becoming the groomers and abusive, i know that jojo siwa is entirely out of touch but i’ve seen people blaming her for defending colleen and shane but she met them when she was a kid?? she was groomed. there are a lot of valid criticisms to be had about jojo and esp her mother but the points i see people making are so surface level there’s a cycle of abuse in the industry.
Siwa only looks a couple years older than what 3rd graders used to be before the New Millennium. She's more like a near upperclasswoman to that troupe. That, combined with the fact that she was never taught how to treat children any better, make it all the more disturbing.
I do agree with you, but she is an adult now, and plenty of abused people don't become abusive. Also don't quote me on this but I've heard there's evidence to point it's actually not the case most of the time, and that there's other factors that are more likely to be the bigger influence.
I feel like people underestimate people's ability to think independently when it comes to victims of abuse, sure there's many times and ways where people are getting quite literally being puppeteered, I don't think it completely excuses bad behaviour either.
You can feel bad for her while also acknowledging that she's doing wrong things as an adult now
I mean, Shane Dawson was abused as a kid and we don't excuse his actions towards his fans, right? So it's the same with JoJo

@@sipi2009i’m a living testament of abused not always becoming abusers, i am speaking generally humans are complex and there are tons of situational factors, but it’s oh so familiar in this case. it’s an issue of abuse within the industry now not just abuse, her mother is the one at initial fault in all of this and im sure there will be more things to come out from that if anyone cares to dig deep enough into it lol

its very sad because jojo went through all of those same things as a child, from abby miller ofc, but also her mother, the other moms from the show, and then older youtubers once she left. so its extremely sad to see her continue this cycle, especially because I did look up to her when I was a little girl. I hope she finds a good therapist in the near future....

This has happened with other more reputable makeup brands. You sound way too confident about asbestos for someone who clearly knows nothing about mesothelioma talking about asbestos and cancer. Okay so I work in the cosmetic industry and what A LOT of people do NOT know is that childrens makeup is not actually considered a cosmetic; As far as the FDA regulations are concerned, Children's "makeup" are labled as TOYS and therefore do not under go the same testing or ingredient regulations by the FDA that actual makeup and beauty productsgo through. Most of the Children's "makeup" thats sold in store like Claire's probably has some pretty nasty stuff in it. I mean products are regularly pulle ad sent back to vendors becase ONE SINGLE INGREDIENT was pulled off the "safe" list of ingredients that can be used in beauty products.

I used to watch Jojo Siwa when I was younger I wasn’t much of a Music Critic back then so I didn’t mind. But when I previously did my own research on this Incident I was disgusted! Children are not adults, they are not fully developed - most Kids can’t recognize Abuse or mistreatment. Underpaying, Ignoring injury and Risking Children with that makeup line is appalling.

I swear I leave this comment on every video I see about the JoJo dance crew thing, but you hit the nail on the head with that last bit about not treating the kids you employ like that because they’re going to think it’s normal when it’s not. I used to do semi-professional ballet for ballet schools. The stuff that Leah described and the torment JoJo went through on dance moms is, disappointingly, extremely normal for that industry. I’m not surprised that the other dancers aren’t saying anything, honestly. That treatment is…. Brutal. That’s putting it mildly for the algorithm’s sake. Speaking up about that stuff, especially when you’re a kid and traumatized, is extremely hard to do for the same reasons it’s hard for people to come out about people who’ve mistreated them. Throw in the fact that the Siwa’s have DEFINITELY made these kids and their families sign documents controlling what they say and do to some degree when they’re not working and especially when on the internet? Yeah, of course only one came forward publicly. It’s…. A fucked industry. And no child in it should ever have to think it’s normal or acceptable, because those kids grow into adults who dish that out not just amongst themselves, but the next generation of dancers. Hopefully the attention on JoJo brings some change, but I’m also jaded enough about this industry to not get my hopes up.
