- Travelling from Bag End, Hobbiton to Mount Doom, Mordor, in one stint as Frodo and Sam (with a brief appearence from Legolas) in the LEGO Lord of the Rings video game.
Note 0: Rivendell - I missed it out on accident, you see it in the distance starting from 3:00 - 3:10 ish though. A quick pass through it: • Rivendell (LEGO The Lo...
Note 1: At The Pass of Caradhras (snowy mountain pass) I cut straight through rather than going Mines of Moria, in the game storyline you cannot do this and obviously have to pass through the Mines. You cannot go through the mines in the overworld - so I take this path.
Note 2: "These areas are tiny." This is an overworld map similar to those in the old Final Fantasy games. Everything is shrunk down.
Note 3: "Where is Isengard? Minas Tirith? Helms Deep?" I followed Frodos path as it's the most straight forward and well known. They are all in the game and all have small versions implemented on the overworld like Hobbiton and Bree.

Wow the nostalgia is overwhelming! Played this back in late 2012 and thought it was amazing. I used to always walk across the map and remember it being so much bigger lol
Nostalgia is when you like something just because it's from the past and not because you actually like this thing itself. It's very cynical of you to call this wonderful game nonstalgia.
@@HOTD108_ It can be both, just means it gives you fond memories from the past. Doesnt mean that the thing you liked was not "wonderful". Generally things that make you nostalgic WOULD be good.
I didn’t need directions when I was seven, I just ran back and forth for hours and it was engraved in my brain. 😭 Time goes to fast
By far the best LEGO game in my opinion to ever exist
Ive been wanting to play this for so long now but they don't sell it for PS4 and I don't have a pc to buy it from Steam
Sadly I have Nintendo 3DS edition. It’s so bad
The Lord of the Rings in 9 minutes and 43 seconds.
Oh nice, you just walked over 1000 kilometers for a morning walk!
One simply does walk into Mordor.
For your sequel you should go to mordor and go back to the Shire- you could even call it "there and back again"
GOOF IDEAAAAA
Hello there, i just hope for the upcoming SW lego game we can explore the universe like this game let you explore middle earth.
For any of you LOTR fans, I have beaten the game and am still currently playing it to 100% it, here are some fun facts. My favorite fun fact is that throughout the main story line, unlike how some other LEGO games don't use dialogue, this one uses the same exact quotes from the characters of the trilogy. I loved(and still do) hearing these throughout and reminiscing one of the best trilogies made. It's very enjoyable, and not hard at all. I love seeing the jokes throughout the game based on the feelings of the characters in the movie too, had me rolling a lot of the time! Even though it only takes about 10 minutes to get from one end to the other, sometimes it just feels long and I really wish they would've added the ability to spawn animals. But honestly, other than that minor con, the pros outweigh it indefinitely. I highly recommend getting this game and especially don't rush through it. I took my time through it all so I could really enjoy it. Absolutely loved every moment of it!
*spawning animals to ride to make travelling faster, that is.
I'm a huge lotr fan, but I haven't played a lego game since the first Lego Batman. I'm really thinking about picking this one up. How is the game different compared to the older lego games?
+Skooma Joe u have an inventory
it took them six months to do something in nine minuets! AMAZING time scale
***** No they couldn't
*****
Gandalf made a favor to the Eagles before the Hobbit story, so in return, the Eagles said that Gandalf can call them (only a few times) only in danger situations, to save their asses that time. Not to use them like a bus for transportation. Also, Eagles are intelligent beings and most of them are neutral or evil, only few are good Eagles. And they could easily be corrupet by the power of the One Ring as well.
So...no, they couldn't.
- Eagles don't let themsleves being a bus (Only in Danger situations).
- Only a few Eagles are good
- They are greedy and intelligent, could easily be corrupted by the Ring power.
***** No prob
*twenty years* at least in the book
13 months*
Oh the memories! I remember my brother and I used to do this all the time when we were little. We thought this was the biggest video game world ever. Good times.
Remembers me to my childhood. I played this game so many times and so often i travel from the shire to Mordor
This should be an achievement
Actually it is, from what I remember
I found that during the story you could actually get to Mount Doom in the open world without even getting there in the story.:D I passed right by the Secret Stairs, Battle of Pelenor, and Cirith Ungol levels!:D
The music, the nostalgia, and the facte that 9 years have gone by since this was uploaded makes me cry.
Friend: So why does it take three movies and one book to travel all that way, while walking only takes like nine minutes.
Other friend: Because there is no threat.
Because compression

the good old days playing this game on my wii
Man the nostalgia 🤌
Well, now I see where Tt got most of the inspiration for the open-world of Lego: The Hobbit!
Honestly that game was disappointing because it didn’t include Five Armies
@@Barrie96 well it came out before the movie
@@lukasbeck4421 then why make it?
@@gz4wbz I don't know. I'm not the developer
@@lukasbeck4421 But the game and the movie were in production at the same time, that information absolutely could've been shared. Hell, Lego Star Wars: The Videogame came out before Revenge of the Sith, but the whole prequel trilogy was in the game because of the collaboration and communication between both parties.
Nostalgia hits hard
Holy crap the nostalgia is unreal
Im thinking of buying this but can you also go to landmarks in Rohan and Gondor (Minas Tirith,Osgiliath,Helms Deep etc)
Regan Taylor yes. But I am late
AgénT I dunno lmao

Yeah you can
Minas tirith was right there!
5:04 in the Lego Hobbit videogame, you can actually spot argonath, but you can't go to that.
Why can't we swim in this game and the Hobbit game?
There’s another way, there is a forest by Isengard that also gets you there faster I believe, though it’s been about 7 years since I played this game
'cause I was bored mostly. I also guess some people just wanted to see how big the open world map is in the game, and I thought this would be a good way to give a measure of the scale.
The heroes got tired very easily whereas the journey was only 9 minutes
@@hassanawdi3793 Makes sense, considering most of them are over 50.

@@TheMail_Monkey Sam, Mary, and Pippin are all in they’re early thirties and Boromir is early forty from what I remember. The rest are fifty, or WAY over fifty.

Awwwww que nostalgia todavía recuerdo esas bellas tardes cuándo jugaba este juego con mi hermana 😊😊
Me gustaba viajar por toda la tierra media con Frodo y Sam 😊
6 months. Frodo and Sam left the Shire the day after Bilbo Baggin's birthday, September 23 3018. The destruction of the Ring at Mt Doom took place March 25 3019.

I would have to say that your video and the soundtrack are gonna make me buy this
You forgot the passage between Dead Marshes and Minas Morgul, between The Two Towers and The Return of the King: The Black Gate-Ithilien-Osgiliath.
Wasn't really the goal. He was just showing how long it would take to get from one side of the map to the other
Jeez this is too nostalgic I used to play this as a kid
Yes, it uses the same soundtrack from the 3 movies.
One does simply walk into Mordor.
He simply walked into Mordor...
Yes, you can!
You can even get Dunharrow, Edoras, Fangorn Forest, Isengard, Osgiliath, Minas Morgul, and so many others!
Well this has been 9 minutes well spent
loved doing this as a kid
LEGO Frodo climbs up stairs in two seconds movie Frodo lets take two hours
Movie:6-9 months to travel
The game:9 minutes to travel
I played this on the Xbox 360 wish it was on the PS4 or ps5 :(
One more step and it'll be the farthest away from home Sam has even been.
this would be much faster with decorative horseshoes equipped
The decorative horseshoes don't make you faster, they just make the galloping sound of a horse.
Cool! That could be great, to make sport. Walking is good for spirit, helth and body!
no. I just love magic.
If they recreate the Lego Hobbit and LOTR game and put it into one game what would it be called?
LEGO A Hobbits Tale
LEGO Middle-Earth adventures
A LEGO Hobbits Tale
ME complete story easily
that was easy
Yeah, I don't see how it took 3 movies to do something you can easily do in 9 minutes.
i played this game with my cousin when we were kids. Now we dont even talk to each other. It brings me great memeries to see this
"How far to the nearest crossing?"
"Brandywine Bridge! Twenty feet!"
I laughed a bit when that southron just decided to be a menace
So what you’re telling me is, if they just followed the trail of blue pips, the trilogy would have lasted 9 minutes
How on earth did i not know about this!
7:26 Mordor, Gandalf, is it left or right?
How do you open the locked doors in bag end?
@norton dooman You have to beat the story before you can go in Bag End.
"Now that Mount Doom was 9 minutes from the Shire, the fourth age of the sun became the first age of the dump"
Who else loved leaving minas tirith and hearing the beggining of the rohirrim charge theme
Can you explore places from the hobbit? Or how about places not shown in the movies, like tom bombadils house or the barrowdowns?
Jeez im late but yes you can. If my memory hasn't failed me, then I do believe you can buy Tom Bombadil as a character and see his house but im not sure you can go inside
the journey of the hobbit condensed into 9 minutes and 43 seconds. Peter Jackson would be impressed
*lord of the rings
7:02 *EEEEEEEEE* thats were my wii always crashed

how do you go inside bag end? i cannot go in
Weird UA-cam recommended but good video
So cool
It took 3 full movies while this guy took 9 minutes and 43 seconds to reach mount doom and destroys the ring

You didnt even use Decorited Horseshoes.
And Boromir said they couldn’t simply walk there

8 лет назад.....
well that was fast.
Well try to do that in LOTRO and see how long it takes
my biggest flex is beating this game 100% on the wii, twice, with the worst graphics you could ever expect.
and the pelennor fields level, where you have to shoot at and climb up the oliphant, on the wii i had to use motion controls (along with every bow i aim) and it legit took me 3 years, then i took a break, came back and completed it. then the grind was real.
the hardest challenges i faced were the time trials (races) with that goddam goat.
hopefully, with lego lord of the rings returning in 2023, they will bring back this game for next gen consoles! they have no reason or excuse not to. they did it with harry potter. WHY DON'T THEY MAKE A LEGO MIDDLE EARTH COLLECTION?! WITH THE HOBBIT AND LOTR!
anyways you can still buy lego the hobbit on xbox and ps4, i wish it were on switch. amazing games!
THEY NEED TO FINISH THE LEGO HOBBIT GAME!!!! #releaseLegoBattleofFiveArmies!!!
Lego middle earth collection, even combine the maps together, make a massive middle earth map to explore!!! like the skywalker saga, even have numenor now that rings of power is out, even include a dlc for that
Not that we haven't tried this ourselves AArsenalMark, but just out of plain curiosity why make this video? IYDMMA
eu adorei já que eu gosto de o senhor dos anéis e agora pouco que lançou o hobbit e ainda lego o bom é que permite viajar por toda a terra média
Жаль, что в видео нет Мории и Врат Мордора...
It’s unfortunate I can’t find the game on steam or in stores anymore... now that I have the ability to get it on PC I’d rather have the PC version than the 100% complete Nintendo DS version
