This "Ronaldo" part is legendary. There's 3 giants "Ronaldos" in football (Ronaldo Nazario, Ronaldinho Gaucho and Cristiano Ronaldo), the first are brazilians, and they picked the last one, the portuguese one.

There are lots of ways people pronounce "Rio de Janeiro". People from Rio say it like "Rio dji Janeru" (not 'dje' like he says in the video), some people from the South region say it like "Rio de Janeiro", most people from the Northeast region say it like "Riu di Janêro" and people from Portugal say it like "Rio d' J'neir".

It has walls around the house not because it's a dangerous place to live, but just to have more privacy. And the glass and barbed wire are just so teenagers don't climb the wall when they're looking for kites.

About the "deforestation" problem in the amazon rainforest, it's not to provide more land to farming. That is completly untrue.
To begin with that is strongly illegal, so if you try that not only you will lose your job but also take heavy charges or going to jail. On top of that, most of the forest soil is very sandy, so after you take the trees away the soil becames poor for the crops, so not worth all the trouble at all. Keeping the rainforest is way more useful to the Brazilian farming because it provides seazonal rain for the central region of the country, where most farming takes place.
Most of the fires that go viral on internet are located more close to the Cerrado region (tropical savana) where fires are common and normal since ever in general, there are even some plants who evolved to survive the fires, but of course there are some man made too.
The real deforestation is caused by illegal woodcuting and illegal mining, even being illegal there are buyers for the wood in the black market, most of it from outside of Brazil because its kind of a luxury. The same for the mining, even some "ONGs" who go to the amazon forest claiming that they want to help to protect it, end up as some cover for illegal things like that.
It's a huge area so it's difficult to monitor everywhere

I liked how you reacted so naturally and so "yourself" on this video, you didn't try to force a different personally nor either to exaggerate reactions. Thanks for you true reaction.

The constellations are actually the night sky over Rio de Janeiro on Independence Day.
But "seen from the outside", because the blue sphere is actually a representation of the ARMILLARY device seen on the Imperial Flag (and the flag of Portugal). In the armillary, that BAND is the equator, which is why the band remained.
It's also the reason most stars are in the southern hemisphere and a single one in the northern hemisphere... because those are the stars that can be seen from Rio.

The video is a little old and some things changed (or were wrong to begin with).
    1. Brazil has now around 220 million being the fifth largest both in population and area. It's the eight economy though.
    2. The place with more blacks is actually the northeast. The state was right but so were you, that's not the north region.
    3. Most Brazilians are against the exploration of the Amazon, but those things seem to be outside of public influence and seem that public opinion has very little impact on deforestation policy.
    4. International politics change all the time, but it's true that we love/hate Argentina and don't really care about Portugal.

Point 1 is entirely wrong. Not only has our population ever been estimated at 220M, but it is infact only 208M according to the 2022 Census preliminary results.

Actually in Brazil we learn that "America" (aka the Americas) is a continent, and so are North-America and South-America, not only that but overall we are more familiar with being a part of South-America than of the Americas.

Yes, in our geographical definitions the one continent of America is divided in three subcontinents: North, Central and South.
Rio de Janeiro is pronounced as 'HE-oo gee zhuh-NAY-roo'.

Yes in Latin America they teach you north and south America are one continent, "America". And in the US model Cenntral America that you pointed is in North America. From Panama to Canada is north america, in Latin America from Argentina/Chile to Canada is America.

Negativo.
Etc... E , assim como quem nasce no continente Europa é europeu, quem nasce no continente América é americano.

That video has a Lot of non correct informations...For instance: The Amazon is NOT beeing deforested ( the soil is improper for agriculture . It's basically a flooded jungle. 99% of all the agriculture and farms are in the "Cerrado" region , VERY different from the Amazon. A Lot of fake news about Brazil, especially by the european countries whose agriculture competes with ours...

Getting hit hard by covid? Dude, 77% of Brazil's population got, at least, one covid shot against 60% in the USA and 42% in Europe.... In the city where I live, 100% of the adult population got vaccinated. Do you still think is easier get covid in Brazil than in your country? Please, girl.
