It is said that there is a barrier at 2700m and it is not allowed to go any further. I watched some videos of cyclists who reached the top at 3400,but the road was in bad condition. Can you give some info?

Hey thanks! XT1200Z with LeoVince exhaust & 1st gen. GoPro Hero HD. You know that the road to the top is blocked, you aren't allowed to go up or over.
Do you mean during winters? I plan to go next year during the summers. How did you get up there?
The road you can see in the vid is open as far as you can see in the video. But you can't go to the top or across the mountain, because it is generally blocked for regular traffic, even in summer. Only a minibus and some test drivers are allowed to the higher parts. Check wikipedia for "Veleta".
