One thing I always carry in my pack now is a small pliers sized bolt cutter for barbed wire,can't tell you how many times I was happy I had them with me,so much old wire from farms in Wisconsin, one day maybe elk hunting
Great job guys, so much fun watching the young be successful!! My youngest son shot his first six point on opening day this past weekend as well. Also liked your gun safety spiel, it's not talked about much and everyone could do better in that department including myself.
Thanks Kelly tell your boy congrats! Yes nothing better then watching our boys become men but I think it hurts us more when they get hurt lol he keeps telling me “dad I’m ok!”
And yes we all get caught up in the heat of the moment and do things we should probably rethink. But no matter how careful, comfortable and confident we are in our equipment and abilities to handle our weapons accidents can happen so fast.

He's got a great teacher. My great grand son is 8 and just sho a 4 point buck with bow.

You ever go on your hunting walks and fine nice trees you could cut for firewood? Lol happens all the time but always forget the trees!
