As someone working on a 1986 project and we a 2 man operation, this gives me so much confidence and was awesome to see how you approached certain issues we are also facing! Have a sub!
I feel like this video took me back to the early days of UA-cam when you can just post a mix of pictures and videos and add the music YOU want not some monetization-friendly background noise! Simple 4 minutes and no expectation of getting thousands of views or money from it. Just documenting the journey and hoping a few like minded people find the video. Awesome job with the car also!!!
This made me genuinely tear up dude! I am so thankful there are other people willing to put work into a restoration project like this! This was on a Google feed article recommended to me! Enjoy it brother
this is maybe the best video i have seen this entire year, this genuinely made me so happy. glad people like you are keeping these on the road and happy for you for the absolutely amazing car you have restored back to its former glory.
You are a madman doing all that work outside in the cold. Its alredy a huge undertaking restoring a car that's so far gone. But doing it outside? Massive respect, dude.
@@I-Human Thanks man, I guess you could say I was a little bit excited about my first project car 😂 there was nothing else I wanted to do that winter and the snow wasn't gonna stop me LOL
@@aran7teen Glad to have ya aboard! The only way I learned any of these skills was to just jump in blind and start practicing, this entire project was done with a 200 dollar Canadian Tire MIG welder and flux core wire :p
Having built project car before with help from my uncle and dad I know how much struggle is associated with doing such thing. I can't even imagine working alone. Huge respect, hope that you'll enjoy your car for years!
this video paired with sum41 just encapsulates a distinct and amazing feeling. i would love to own an rx7 one day even if it takes this much work because it looks so worth it! awesome build
@@ecli3690 the inspiration for this video was me listening to this song while scrolling through my old pics quickly, I was like damn that goes kinda hard 🤣 thanks the kind words!
This is beyond a restoration, this is a full on revival! But man, seeing all this rust makes me so grateful to live in a place that doesn't see snow or salt.
This took incredible dedication. I think a lot of people would like at the car initially and say it wasn't worth saving. You did your own thing and resurrected that car. Well done, man.
I don't usually comment on YT vids. I have to say "GREAT JOB!" I have had 4 RX-7s through the years and respect all the work you put in. Thanks for saving the FB.
This is the beast video I have seen lately! amazing job man, i cant even imagine dealing with all this rust... when I repaired the sills on my is200 i thought that i was going to die lol
Wow!! How I wish this 4+ minute long video was over 30 minutes or so😂 There’s never enough resto videos from amateur YT’ers on here. This was awesome!💪🏼
@@wolfparty4234 Thanks man! you're in luck because I'm 40+ episodes deep in documenting my progress on this thing, check out my recent uploads! This video was just a compilation of tiny snippets from those vids
@ I see that now! Thanks. Wish you didn’t live so far away. I have a pare of Rx8’s leather seats in almost mint condition I think you’d love.. I live in Maryland “east coast” U.S.
Amazing job man I cant imagine how many more hours/days were added to this because it looks like your from a rust belt, a hour job turns into a 5 hour job with evrything breaking and a torch getting involved 😂
@@greaniebeaniez3070 Absolutely everything was a seized pain in my ass 😂 I estimate I've got 1500 to 2000 hours into this thing all together 🫣 a decent number of which were spent welding nuts to snapped bolts and praying lmao
This was incredibe. I felt pain when i saw the floor, the rust in hard to replicate places, the rot. Did you even fix up chassis rail? I mean, this had a bit of everything. I'm so impressed.
Wicked stuff dude! Some serious dedication especially welding in the snow LOL! I think I recognize that car shelter and those mazdas, you from the island eh? I'm pretty sure I'm always swooning over your collection when I drive by. Got an instagram?
I would've noped so hard at that rust, well done man!
Same.
This is one of the best "X built in Y minutes".
MYTHICAL UA-cam RECOMMENDATION PULL
That amount of work done alone is a big respect
Few would dedicate themself for a car like that
Genuinely one of the most impressive projects I've seen done. What a beast
I'm stoked to see that the TGT youtube channel lives on 💪 Thanks man!
@GilesVessey I'd say its closer to undead than living, but it's there! Preservation haha
