I still can’t believe we are getting this land it looks amazing, so excited. The coaster looks a bit slower than I hoped but those banked turns look thrilling, and the splash on both side of the bridge! I agree that they should paint the back of the Meade Hall, but I think it will be hard to see with that netting around the coaster.
Your video talents are top notch. I realize that more with each post I see. This offering is great to make me even more excited for Epic Universe. It wasn't even a ride I seemed interested in until watching this submission. Thank you from a Charlottean.
I don't do thrill coasters. I'm a family coaster kind of guy. This one looks like a lot of fun. Kudos to USO for not making them all high tier thrill. Edit: First video I seen with the splash effect. Nice.
@@kylemarrero3814 Then it's named incorrectly. A "family" can indeed enjoy thrill coasters, as family. As long as they all meet the height requirement.
It’s not a swing launch. A swing launch would implicate that it is supposed to go backwards through a small portion of track and then pass through the launch again. That was just a rollback test
It's very interesting staging! There likely will be fog curtains at the rock arches. Most guests won't be aware of train launching ahead as their train reaches first arch.
@@bioreconstruct My theory was that they're just stress testing the block zoning system to see how it handles extreme situations? Time will tell how it actually works
From this angle it looks like lots of backstage and unthemed areas will be visible from the ride. I'm assuming that's just because of the angle or that some of it is incomplete? Surely, they would try to keep you in the theming the whole time for a ride like this, right?
I don't think they will. They probably added detail to places seen from ground view and not the back side of it. Looking at the video, we might turn away from it before seeing the unthemed half.
This looks juuuust slightly slower (which it's supposed to be, 45mph vs 50mph at the fastest), but Hagrid's looks way more aggressive. While Hagrid's dips and dives and turns everywhere, this ride kind of just kinda goes straight forward most of the time with slight turns so I'm worried it won't feel very forceful at all. I wish they made this a similar thrill level to Hagrid's (somewhere in between family-friendly and super thrilling), but I understand why they didn't
@ - in the last RCID meeting, it was deemed that there was enough development-worthy land to build one new major theme park and one lesser park (aka a third water park). That launch track is in two sections, so if the train in front rolls back, it stops in the second half of the launch in front of the other train (a bit like a Stratacoaster). I was a bit 👀 when I saw the video at first too though.
I like how smooth this is running. The layout looks so fun and scenic.
I wish it could've been a bit more thrilling. But the scenery and the way it uses the surroundings is gonna make this such a zen ride.
Better thing is that the the wing isn’t done so it will look way way better
My brain has a difficult time comprehending that this is not a miniature.
SO TRUE. Good point
Probably isn't the only thing it has diffcult time comprehending.
Lol ditto!! This is amazing footage btw
The whole area looks gorgeous

Max speed is 45 MPH it’s almost same speed if not the same as mummy pretty good and we will feel it 😊
@@kylemarrero3814Mummy is indoors in the dark tho, so it feels faster than it really is. This is fully outdoors.
@ true but the launches are a lil higher here on both launches which I think balances the thrill . And the bank turns are real prominent too
May not be the most thrilling, but goddamnit I'm gonna cry on it if Test Drive plays. I love the movies so much
OMG SAME THANK YOU SOMEONE FINALLY MENTIONED TEST DRIVE
Twat drive is my favorite movie score song of all time
Omg test not twat I'm so sorry
Nice choice for the backing track. I counted at least three trains out at the same time. Looking forward to this opening!

Thanks! I have only minutes in my flight budget for shooting video.

COWARD!!!! JUST DON'T GO IF YOU DON'T HAVE THE GUTS TO RIDE THE ADULT RIDES.
@@TheDeviousDrDoom shut your mouth
What exactly is a "family coaster"?
@@elevenb6967 a less intense coaster , so not a thrill coaster but a lil more tamed so everyone can enjoy

0:58 The swing back launch with the Gronkle nest looks really cool.. they look mad and the eggs will prob let off steam to explode

@ OK, cool
Incredible footage as always! Cannot wait to stroll around this area 🙌
This looks like a lot of fun. It's beautifully themed and the ride looks like it's running smoothly. I see the baby dragons are working too!
This reminds me of Big Bear Mountain at Dollywood but with more theming. Looks like a lot of fun that everyone will enjoy.
Bro the water splash caught me off guard! That will be a highlight for sure
i'm way too excited for this!! and they are SENDING those trains lmao
In just a couple short months, we’ll be able to ride this.
0:37 that train is following very close to the other one! Hard to believe they would be separate blocks?

What are they gonna do to cover up the roof that you can see after the launch?
Are you talking about "mead hall"?
I don't think they will. They probably added detail to places seen from ground view and not the back side of it. Looking at the video, we might turn away from it before seeing the unthemed half.
The more I see of these rides testing, the less able I am to decide which land I’m most excited for! 😱
so you are looking directly at a unthemed back of a showbuilding when you leave the station?
Its no where near finished yet, im sure they will cover that up later
Ah! Train turns sharp right, and there's safety netting hiding view too.
the back potions of the coaster seem quite backstage-y compared to the insane detail up front. i could be wrong though.
For the main attraction in the land, it seems rather short. Based on the footage, it doesn't even reach 1.5 mins from first launch to final brake run.
OH. MY. GOD.
Did you have to get permission or work out a deal to do all of these awesome drone shots ?
@@viking515066 Ah! Video is from a chartered helicopter. (A very expensive hobby.)

This is a Disney coaster on steroids and I love it!
