It's 2024, but I have come to your video for guidance. I wanted to finally finish up Ba'al and found out I need Uuna! This was succinct and accurate. Much appreciated.
Thanks Hazel. Loved this guide. One thing for me was that I was getting the bones to summon the named boss. Just as I was getting the last set of bones, someone summoned him and I joined in killing it and got Uuna. Second during the soul eaters part, I found a guide here on UA-cam that said to make a macro where you target Uuna then hug her. Once you get to the point where she is being overwhelmed after she says she's scared, you spam the hug macro. She eventually becomes over powered and kills all the soul eaters. Took me like 10 tries before I did the hug macro. If your having problems with the soul eaters. Try the macro. It works.
7:01 she actually does move closer to you when she does her own /hug, but if you're too close to her to begin with she won't wave to. If she's standing a step or two away she'll come closer to return the hug emote. TY for the guide Hazel! Love them all.
Little tip for anyone lazy doing this on horde. You can switch to an alliance alt to do the quest on bloodmist isle and then switch back to horde. Worked fine for me :)
I am so glad they added the extra stuff for the hugs from her. I really needed that cute pick me up after the kidnapping/soul eater portion Without that it would have just been Pamela Redpath v2.0 And even after doing tht chain in Vanilla I still am haunted by the Pamela Redpath quest even now in Legion
The campfire bit where you defend Uuna from the mobs reminds me of Don't Starve. If you last until nightfall and don't have a fire lit, unseen monsters in the darkness wreck your business.
I was thinking the same while watching that part of the video. I think it's a reference to Don't Starve. You also have shadows lurking towards your campfire and you push them bakc by walking through them. If they reach the fire they put it out and chaos ensues.
My main is a boosted 110 as I was out of WoW for a while, and so doing this was a bit harder than anticipated as I needed to unlock Argus and Nighthold. One thing that I didn't figure out until later is that the easiest and quickest way to get into the Nighthold for part of Uuna's World Tour is to simply jump from Dalaran and use a goblin glider to go over the walls. No unlocking needed.
Hi Hazel! A little late to the party here, but I just wanted to note for anyone else that might come across this and have it happen to them. I got Uuna last night after following your awesome guide, but I ran into two issues that were no fault of your own. When I tried to spawn the Many Faced Devourer, I had all of the items in my bags, but I could not see the effigy to click on. I tried reloading, but it did not work. I had to LOG OUT and log back in and it was there. It seems that a number of people have had this issue before. When I got to Uuna's second tour of Azeroth, where you take her to the lake in Hyjal, unfortunately I had the Heart of Azeroth quest from Magni where you have to kill the Azerite Elementals. Uuna would not say her dialogue lines until I completed the quest and turned it in back in Silithus! Then the area went back to normal and she spoke the dialogue so that I could continue. It was a long road, but your guide is awesome! Thank you so much for all you do! I hope my comment helps someone!
this is such a sad yet wholesome quest line. the fact that I still summon Uuna all the time to this day so she “won’t be lonely” really goes to show just how humans will empathize with just about anything.
I immediately thought The darkness scenario is what happens when you play Don't Starve during the night time. You have to keep the darkness from putting out your fire (light) by chasing them away from the fire. If it does put your light source out, you will die & have to start over to day 1, unless someone got light up ASAP! & saved the day.
4 years later, thanks for the guide! TomTom was not accepting the coordinates I had for some reason, so I was left scrambling around Shadowmoon for a bit before I found this video.

If the doll is not there in the Mac'aree house, you will need to follow story line till you put the first Vindicaar beacon in place on Mac'aree. Then the doll will be there to pick up
I like your niche. Everyone makes "how to choose a main" or "which tank can out tank the other tank." You are over here with "how to unlock the super secret owl that will guide you to the griffin named Dor so you can get the harry pet." I appreciate your diligence because without it I would never find any of these.
I was waiting on a comprehensive guide due to that bugged Nighthold spot because I thought I was doing it wrong. Thanks for clearing that up! I can finally get those much needed hugs from the best pet ever. I hope they do stuff like this again. (Or there's more like it that's been hidden for years! There's only one way to find out!)
*I was stuck on the 1st step of the World Tour. Uuna would not emote at the Gate of The Setting Sun. You MUST speak to Midormi to CHANGE the timeline !! You must do this or she will not emote.

You've never played Runescape, have you? All of RS's hardest quests contain this type of gameplay, plus many more difficult tasks. Yet miraculously, quest guides are up on fan sites within hours of the quest being released.
I hate this crud where there is no clear path to what you need to do without someone like Hazel here who did the research. This is not fun or clever and Blizzard should learn that. After watching the video I realized I lost complete interest in this pet. Ugh!
She's now my new little adopted princess. :) When we no longer have corruption and I can wear prettier xmogs without looking like I have crawling bruises on me, I'll also wear a flower crown with her. The last part felt like a worldwide Children's Week quest. :) Just glad I didn't have to take her into BGs, like FOUR BGs where I had to personally capture the flag or something.
i got to the start of the world tour and now she wont talk at the gates i did it on both timelines and she still wont speak so i cant move on to the next section
4:50 old gods, corruption, the void, both in game and in real life as a metaphore. A lot of this horror part is borrowed from Lovecraft, which is why theres something about the chain that seems so... haunting. I read up on the lore only a little, but basically she was trapped in the "shadowlands" unnaturally. Something was keeping her there, which keep in mind is a seperate place from the void. When you do all those emotes at her, shes reacting to something else happening at the same time on another plane of existance. When you enter the tear, you start to see shadows of the entities that stalk her. Its super interesting and I wish I knew more, like why she was targeted and how she died. She might even be secretly important to the main story, like some of the other secrets in the game. 5:30 the bugs here have a connection to the void gods. Also I think its pretty well known at this point, but at the begging its not like you said, THIS IS NOT the only reward you get for her. Shes linked to multiple other secrets in the game.
Did all step by step and it works as of today with BFA being current. Such a cute story but as horde it was a little bit annoying going to Blood Myst island. :P
I just got my Uuna yesterday and didn't even know what I had to do with it. Weird pet.. Untill I saw this (recommended) video. Now I will do the storyline for sure... when I'm done working.
Also making macros for hugs saved me. loved your video !!!still not sure what your last part was about are we supposed do something or just take her there
I hoped that she will become battle pet after all those "quests". She have a magical wand to bash other pets ;) But she is awesome anyway! I keep her at my favourite list... can see her running around garrison ;)
For the into the Darkness part make sure you create a macro for hug, make sure you have Uuna targeted and just keep circling her this will keep them back enough until she starts to speak then hit your macro button, I failed 2x, made the macro and it was easy after that.

Thanks for the guide. I got Uuna today. Although I was wondering why she didnt have her sparkle , crown and wand when I was done. I have seen a few posts that after 8.0 it isn't appearing. Hopefully it is just a bug. Great videos, love your channel :)
This was a very good quest. I love horror junk, so the part with the Soul-Eaters in the darkness was great very upsetting and unsettling but great. Not to mention it’s so sad. I teared up several times. 🥺
I did this on a Hunter, you can track undead to see the Soul monsters. Macro /target uuna /hug The final dialog is really nice. It's too bad you can't redo it.
That section in the dark. The end is really forgiving. Thankfully. I got the error that she was swallowed and everything. But still completed it somehow... not arguing tho.
Is Eredath bugged? @3:09 there is no doll and no scenario. she follows me in and just stands there. Nothing on the ground. I have gone back to last step to make sure I didn't miss something, came out to do it again and still nothing..
@@ShoddyLegion Hey, if you still need help, be sure to establish a foothold teleporter in Eredath. Should just be a few simple quests into Eradath. ONce you activate the crystal, teleporter spawns, and turn in the quest. The doll should appear.

Yes. You need to do some of the quests for Brann for the Chamber of Heart in order to fix the phasing. If you see fire elementals, a big monster in the middle of the lake and little slimes in the area, you need to do it. You should see a few earth elementals walking away from the lake and away enough not to agro when taking Uuna to that spot.
am I the only one still having trouble at the nighthold part of her world tour? used a glider via dalaran to get there, stood outside, summoned/dismissed her many times and still can’t get the dialogue to pop up...
As always, you make great videos and I am happy to already be subscribed. I came here to find out how to upgrade my Uuna for when I get Baa'l. Sort of taking a break since I am having trouble with the Pebble chain. I totally enjoyed the video (as always) but I have had my Uuna pet a long time and for some reason I remember a much longer process to get her as a pet that included most of the things you showed including having to save her from night terrors. But that was part of the original process of getting her and seemed much longer than what your video seems to indicate. Also, my Uuna looks like the one you ended up with cosmetically after doing this "upgrade". Did there used to be a different way to get this pet that combined obtaining her and upgrading her all in one process? I was wondering if that might have something to do with the problem I was having because when I summoned her after watching your video, she did not say anything. Not a peep. At first I thought I might have to go get a new one by killing the boss .... but then I realized mine has the wand, a crown, and carries a small stuffed bear-type toy already. That is when I did the /hug and found out I guess I already have the Uuna I need. But she is still a non-combat pet. I guess when I finally get my pebbles sorted out and try to get Baa'l, I will find out her part in that process and know whether or not I still have a problem. i have all the items but i cant summon the rare... is there something wrong? i know hazel said no specific order but i followed her guide and for some reason my toon cant see the bones to click or i cannot right click to put them together (if thats the way its suppose to be?) any suggestion? My boyfriend suggested macros after I failed once. It certainly did the trick!

The Coords for Mt Hyjal seemed to be slightly off. They did not trigger at 59.24 but moved slightly over to 59.27 and it did.

The Gate of the Setting Sun part isn’t triggering for me when I got there for some reason.
its bugged right now, make sure to report the bug.
The other guy is wrong, it is NOT bugged. You need to switch Vale back to pre invasion, you can talk to Zidormi to switch back and forth.
Fahad Allhaib it IS bugged. Just fixed as of 6/25/20. Now the Krausus Landing step is bugged :) GL

Reminds me abit about Ico, where shadowcreatures spawn on the ground to drag Yorda down with them, and you have to save her

YOu have to finish quests up until you establish a portal in Eredath. It worked for me as soon as I finished the quest that did so.

The Blessed Medallion of Karabor came in real handy for this :)
I couldn't do the Hyjal step, dialogue wouldn't play I think it has something to do with the azerite phasing

You should see a few earth elementals walking away from the lake and away enough not to agro when taking Uuna to that spot.

am I the only one still having trouble at the nighthold part of her world tour? used a glider via dalaran to get there, stood outside, summoned/dismissed her many times and still can’t get the dialogue to pop up...

is there a secret to getting into the doors of nighthold? i never did the suramar questline all the way
Even if you remove your gear before you die does it not still give repair costs if its in your bags ?
do you have to have a garrison to be able to train her in the shadowmoon valley portion?
As always, you make great videos and I am happy to already be subscribed. I came here to find out how to upgrade my Uuna for when I get Baa'l. Sort of taking a break since I am having trouble with the Pebble chain.
I totally enjoyed the video (as always) but I have had my Uuna pet a long time and for some reason I remember a much longer process to get her as a pet that included most of the things you showed including having to save her from night terrors. But that was part of the original process of getting her and seemed much longer than what your video seems to indicate.
Also, my Uuna looks like the one you ended up with cosmetically after doing this "upgrade". Did there used to be a different way to get this pet that combined obtaining her and upgrading her all in one process?
I was wondering if that might have something to do with the problem I was having because when I summoned her after watching your video, she did not say anything. Not a peep. At first I thought I might have to go get a new one by killing the boss .... but then I realized mine has the wand, a crown, and carries a small stuffed bear-type toy already. That is when I did the /hug and found out I guess I already have the Uuna I need.
But she is still a non-combat pet. I guess when I finally get my pebbles sorted out and try to get Baa'l, I will find out her part in that process and know whether or not I still have a problem. As always, thanks for the great , enjoyable videos.
i have all the items but i cant summon the rare... is there something wrong? i know hazel said no specific order but i followed her guide and for some reason my toon cant see the bones to click or i cannot right click to put them together (if thats the way its suppose to be?) any suggestion?
UPDATED: i just needed to relog to see the dang bones to click on.... /sigh
