Signal on the right: 5 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
After I shot X515 in Cullman, I hit the road back for Huntsville as it was getting late. As I was driving down I-565 towards Huntsville, I heard 204 working Greenbrier, which immediately piqued my interest, as I'd seen on Facebook earlier where 204 had NS's Conrail heritage unit on it. As such, I decided to stop in downtown Huntsville and check the Decatur VRF cam, and, sure enough, there it was, right up front. As such, once the signal at East End Huntsville Storage dropped to yellow (indicating it was past the east end of Elko) after a little while of waiting, I quickly made my way over to this crossing and set-up. Soon after, I was able to get my sixth and final train of the day: NS 204 with NS's Conrail heritage unit (an ES44AC) leading a UP ES44AH for power! This was definitely a great train to end my day off on, and is also probably my best catch of the day. Always nice to see NS 8098 again, even if I've shot it a few times before (including leading). After this, I continued on back to my house.
As usual, you can hear the Huntsville DD next to this crossing reading-out after the train has passed.
As you can see, there have thankfully be no changes to this crossing since I last recorded it. I'm glad to see the WCH mechanical bell here is still going strong, hopefully it'll be around for a good while longer.
