Went out and did some railfanning this morning. My original plan was to go down to the Falkville area again and record a few crossings on the CSX S&NA North Sub, but those plans were scrapped and I hung around Decatur instead. However, on my way out there, I heard that NS 738 was coming, so I went here to record it. The train had an NS SD70ACe leading a CitiRail ES44AC with two NS ET44ACs on the DPU.

Now THAT'S a lashup where the SD70ACe would be the most desirable leader, since the rest of the engines are new GEVOs! It's weird how perspective changes depending on the trailing power- an SD70ACe leading some Dash 8s would be undesirable but this lashup would be very desirable!
