Yep. I can tell a difference, albeit slight, when I click Play/Pause, but I cannot tell when the sound ends if I am not watching the progress bar. It's very annoying to be reminded that you hear this sound when you constantly try and tune it out.

I dunno if you ever paid attention in your 9th grade physics class, frequencies can’t be heard sometimes depending on age and hearing level.
This video doesn't show up in my spectrum analyzer at all. There are other 14 KHz videos on UA-cam that do show up clearly.

I'm 54. I hear it faintly, even though the volume was turned high. But a very high whine.

This sound made me physically sick to my stomach.
I was sick 3 weeks ago with Flu like symptoms. Since then, I had trouble hearing in my left ear--I can't hear this with my left ear like I can with my right.
I hear this sound if I put my hands over a plasma ball and put it up to my ears
