Best Homemade Apple Muffins
1 3/4 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3/4 cup milk
1/3 cup oil
1 egg, beaten
1 cup apples, cored, peeled, and chopped
Cinnamon Sugar
Combine:
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Mix thoroughly.
In large bowl, add flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and cinnamon. Mix well. Make a well. Add milk, oil, egg, and apples all at once. Mix well. Batter will be lumpy. Don't overmix. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar. Bake in a preheated 400 degrees over for 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
