Please re-review in a few months after some patches to see if it is worth jumping in. I really like the vibe of the game and want to try it, but I want to see if the cost can feel a little more actiony.
I personally don't understand all the hate for the game. I think the game play is fun, the combat is simple, but it does not need to be complicated In every game. The story is pretty good and touches on a subject that is not been answered in the Tolkien universe. I can go on hours on how the world is and how beautiful it is. You really feel like you are in Moria. the little details like the like the orcs talking to each other. Even the Orcs from Isengard are talking about their life before the fall of Saruman. I don't think it's fair that people are comparing this to the Gollum game. I understand one gets more views on a UA-cam video if they talk about all the bad stuff. But this game right here is a gem and deserves better recognition. But yes mate, very great video. You did a good job.
I agree with you it got way more hate that it should have mostly because of the context regarding lotr and the gaming industry in the last few years. That being said the game also is not perfect which gave people a reason to be even more mean. Epic game exclusive did not help either. Thanks for the support btw! Glad you liked it!
The state of the game industry makes me wait 2-4 years before buying games after they are released. That way I get full working games with all DLCs for 1-5$.
Sadly it is a bit too true sometimes. However i think they are starting to realize they lost a lot of money on these practices and i hope it shifts the wind in the opposite direction in the future.
So how did you get the remaining Black Diamonds then because I started playing this a few days ago and I am stuck needing 14 of the buggers! The "fix" isn't real!

I will probably cover the important patches and if i feel the game has had a significant enough improvement i definitely will re review it!
You can farm black diamonds from gem nodes late game in the deeps mining sections... each section of the games deeps have different resources.
I know, you can also get some in orc raids, i did not get stuck on black diamonds.

Well i had absolutely no struggle with balck diamonds. Always found way more than enough by raiding every orc camp i found on the map.
