Great vid. I plan to use this with a green screen showing a car passing a person. First I film the scene of the road, no car. Then add the person via green screen. Then film same road with car going past and mask car on this clip and put it on top, then I have a person on a road, with car zooming past but avoid the dangers of person needing to be on a dangerous road

You would have to mask out the person walking

there is also a very easier way to do it. copy ur clip and put it above ur text and the original clip. than add color key to the coppied clip. choose the color of its background and put the color tolrance high enough to see your text. and thats all you need to do. but this only works if your object isnt the same color as its background

My guess is that you are making the mask on the wrong layer of the video. Make sure you are making the mask on the correct video layer which will usually be the video clip or text layer on top. If you do the mask on a video layer underneath you will never see the effect.
