This might sound weird, but I was in the middle of an anxiety attack and nothing I was doing was helping me calm down. I made myself sit and watch something that I knew would be fun, and by the end of your video I had relaxed. Thanks for helping bring a little joy to my life :)
Allie awww bless you x I know that feeling . Next time you feel one coming on try going up and down the stairs a few times if you can . And just concentrate on your breathing after . I know I find this so relaxing too . You tube is my drug lol . It’s just adrenaline remember that next time and you will be ok I promise xxx
What a sweet, sweet comment Allie...I really hope your anxiety improves. I have anxiety and panic attacks so I know personally how hard it is to get yourself out of them. So cool that you found something that helped :)
This lady reminds me of my aunt, I loved her. She use to make sack lunches for us we had 6 kids food was scarce alot of the time..and my Aunt would deliver our lunches just in time at the school office, with our names on the sacks. Rice krispy treats grapes bolony & chesse considered special occasion food in our house. 50 years ago. Thank You Aunt Marie. GODS HELPER.
Can you please do videos showing some of the meals you make or how to make them? Sorry for asking..didn't grow up with a mom and youtube has been how i taught myself to cook. Your very good at explaining and showing things so i think you would be equally good at that....pleeease ☺
My suggestion to is to watch some cooking channels also if you eat out write down what you and the guest ordered and look ut up on you tube and they will you how to make it too
Try foodnetwork.com also. Best way to learn in my opinion, look up Alton Brown "good eats" and Guy Fieri. He has "diners, drive-ins, and dives," plus "guys big bite." You on a budget? Try Sandra Lee, "semi homemade"
We call it Medra-Mart at my house. I buy in bulk when things go on sale and I've turned one of the rooms in our basement into my own grocery store. I once bought 20 packages of hamburger meat that were in patties (8 to a pack!) and since it was right after the 4th of July they had them on sale for fifty cents a package! They didn't have a limit so I bought ALL they had at that insane price! I also once bought 3 years worth of tuna in a can since the expectation date was 3 years away and they were only asking 35 cents a can! I figured we could easily go through 3 cans a week without getting tired of it. It's amazing how many ways you can fix tuna! My son was really sad when we ran out.
When you do the math... 3,000 dollars equals out to less then 58 dollars a week for 1 year... It's EASY to blow that kind of money on one nice dinner! You will save so much in the long run especially with the delicious meals you make!
It helps so much to have a stocked pantry/freezer to pull from, especially on hectic days. Like you said, just one meal eaten out can take a big bite out of the budget. You'll crack up, I was at the boys college awhile back and got a cup of coffee at the cafeteria.........sit down........they charged me 7 dollars. It wasn't anything fancy, just coffee. I couldn't believe it. I bought the kids those metal coffee mugs that day. LOL Hope you have a great weekend!!!
BUT you are averaging this on a whole year, so watch and she will be doing another grocery haul in the future and already has a stocked freezer and pantry goods.
@@chrisfry436 thats my problem too. When I blow 100$ on 1 trip on grocery, I always fool myself if I dont go next week, it will only 50$ a week. That never happend. The only way to do it is meal plans and stick with it, week to week. No matter how much I think I need some items, I will tell myself that I will come back next week to get it.
Never in my life did I think I'd be watching someone else talk about their groceries but this is fascinating to me 😁 I love seeing how people in different cultures cook. We live in north America but are Asian in background. I can safely say I've never bought brown gravy or ranch dressing mix but if it were me, I'd be buying gallons of soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sesame oil. My mother will buy pounds of garlic at a time run it through the food processor to mince it all in one go, then store it in an extra glass jar in oil so we never have to mince individual cloves each time we cook.
I know what you mean. Ken and I love going to the Asian market on Ord Street in LA, we have been going there for many years. I love going down the aisles and exploring all the new things. That is brilliant of your mom to mince a lot of garlic at one time, we use garlic in just about everything we cook. I love how fresh everything is in Asian markets. Hugs Shelby
I love seeing stuff like this when I purchase my house it’s gonna be full just like this. It hits me differently because I came from very humble beginnings and didn’t always have a full fridge and cabinets. 💯💕
I know what you mean Anita. It saves so much money to be able to whip dinner up from the pantry, especially when you stock up on a good sale. Hope you have a fantastic weekend girlfriend!!!!!
JP don't say never, Ken and I lived pay check to pay check when we were first married. I would highly recommend Dave Ramsey's 6 baby steps, you won't regret it!!! Hugs Shelby
Two meat items that go a long way are whole pork loins and boneless c hicken breast. You should be able to find both in the $1.69 to $1.99 range. I slow roast the pork loin in the slow cooker , shred it, add some refried beans, spanish rice and several packets of taco seasoning and it makes a huge batch of pork taco meat. Tortillas are fairly cheap and its so handy to have on hand. I cook the chicken breast in half water half chicken stock and shred it also, then add it to pre boiled carrots, celery and frozen noodles to make a thick soup that I put over inexpensive mashed potatoes. I stay away from red meat until I find chuck roasts and ground hamburger (80/20) in the 1.99 to 2.49 lb range.
When the only local grocery store is also the gas station you know you are going to be paying much more and have a much smaller selection. I don't think everyone understands the reality of food deserts in rural areas.
Other youtubers take note. Shelby this is definitely the way to buy! You're a class act the way you have compared prices and really taken advantage of buying in bulk and stocking up as opposed to all those people who spend a fortune every week. I salute you! Enjoyed this whilst I ate my lunch, thanx for posting :)
I just did the same thing! Freezer and pantry is stocked up for my family for the next 6 months. Spent about a $1000 and your right it sure does save money! Thanks for the video, you gave me a lot of ideas on what to get next time 🤗
Always been a fan of grocery hauls and an advocate for preparedness no matter your pantry size but girl....your pantry and freezers are goals!!! Came up in my recommended feed and now I’m a subscriber.
Welcome to my channel Chelsea, we have a great group here. You might like some upcoming videos if you are into preparedness, our solar is going in.....yes!!! We have been waiting for the electric company's engineer to sign off on our 400 amp upgrade. Everything else was approved months ago. Ken is doing a wood burner broiler this summer too. Cool stuff coming. Shelby
Wow Shelby girl, you got it going on!! This has to be the largest UA-cam pantry stockup. Most folks just go to one store, but you really maximized your $ and shopped around. Very wise. You’re right, just saying “this series of hauls was $3,000” seems like a lot of cash, but what would you have spent had you shopped local? $4,000-$6,000? Loved the shipping option. Walmart impressed me. I wish I could do a stock up like this, but my finances won’t permit, nor do I have the room. I’ll just have to love vicariously thru you. Certainly a true blessing. Thank you for sharing your skills with us!
Please share what do you do with the chilies .... I’m drooling over here Dang it momma I love your hauls... YOU ARE THE BOMB... KEN IS THE BOMB TOO. XOXOXO
I don't know how I stumbled across this video. But for some strange reason this was very relaxing. Never would have thought about shopping for a whole year. I know that definitely takes a lot of planning ..and like you said free delivery was definitely probably a big game changer. It's amazing just have it delivered to your door and not having to go to the grocery store. You've definitely got a new subscriber
They do Hannah. Some lady cursed me out when Covid shortages appeared, saying I was hoarding all the toilet paper and I should be strung and quartered. I pointed out that the pre covid stock up video was serval months old and I hadn't gone to the store from late January 2020 until about Father's Day because New York was hit so hard with Covid. I literally hadn't gone shopping for over 6 1/2 months during the shortages. Although I hadn't bought not one roll of toilet paper during the shortages, I still offered to send her some if she was in need, but all I got was crickets. LOL
@@TheQueensCabinet some people are just out to make life hard on others. Those of us who see you as a friend know you're not the kind of person they were making you out to be. I know Covid hasn't been easy, but some folks don't care to fact check before calling someone out of their good name. Be glad I didn't see it, because then you'd have had 2 of us cussing 😂😂😂 I'd been all over that lady! I'm too mean (when needed) for people to act like that!
Hi Shelby, greetings from Southern California! I rarely comment on YT videos but I wanted to say how much joy I feel when watching your videos no matter what the content. You are such a wonderful human and this world needs a million Shelby's and Ken's that is for sure. Thank you for sharing with us, xoxo p.s. 111 degrees here today, thought I moved to Arizona for a minute, LOL
I am so glad you commented and thank you for such beautiful words of encouragement. We lived in Riverside, and Ken's parents still live in Huntington Beach, I don't miss the triple digits. Hope you have a great weekend and stay cool. Shelby
This pantry makes my OCD heart happy! It's a relief to see a full pantry too. Also I have had the wonderful pleasure of eating roasted green chili peppers from New Mexico!! Yum yum!!
Also ..does the stuff you order off online have longer shelf life.. I have noticed the stuff in the store will expire in just two weeks .. so I can’t stock up. Hope this is a clear question. =)
Kelly I use greensavers in the veggie/fruit bins and change the filters every 3 months www.containerstore.com/s/oxo-greensaver-crisper-inserts/d?productId=11001490&q=greensaver When I store meat in the freezer I package it in Food Saver bags. I try and buy in bulk once a year to get a better price, they say it keeps things fresher 5xs longer. I know it prevents freezer burn. Best kitchen gadget ever.
This was the first time I ordered online and got mostly pantry stuff, the expiration dates were about two years out. Hopefully I am answering your question? :D Shelby
TheQueensCabinet I was going ask about the expiration dates for the foods. At the store I always go grab ones in the very back because most of the time they do the fifo method at grocery stores.
I’ve never seen such a big haul in my life lol ! Was exciting to watch thanks for sharing. How awesome it was to be able to have stuff delivered to you!
Your pantry is a grocery store to most! That haul is huge! Enjoyed watching the prices as I am from Canada! Your food costs are so much cheaper then ours!
Wow!! That was a mega haul!! It must feel awesome to be so well stocked!! Your pantry is beautiful , so well organized. Can't wait to see the beautiful meals that come out of all that!
I noticed quite a few of your items you can get it at Sam's!!example I think it was Target you bought individual four packs of hidden valley ranch at Sam's you can get the big container for 479 it's going to be three boxes or four boxes of what you got!! Serval of your items where that way! Just for an FYI! I know it's hard to comparetion shop all stores! But thought I would share so you could check it out for yourself 😊
It makes the best shredded beef tacos or taquitos. One can makes about 12. Here is a video showing how to use the canned beef; it starts @ 6 minute 54 second mark. ua-cam.com/video/hRwj3ngQlyM/v-deo.html
Amazing. If you saved $50.00 a month you would have $600.00 to go toward a yearly haul. (think of it as a Christmas gift for the family). If you saved monthly $100.00 at the end of the year you would have $1200.00. To me this makes sense. You would have to devote yourself strictly towards a budget. If nothing else the Corona Virus should teach people to be more frugal.
This was the Mount Everest of grocery hauls😱 WOW!!!! I've never seen such an enormous haul before.😱 You did get some great deals 💃 It's so smart of you to stock up like that 👌 It must be nice 😊 Your pantry is very organized👌 I love it💕 You guys are very fortunate 🙏 Thanks so much for sharing such an impressive haul. Take care 👍👍👍
Shelby, your voice is so similar to Ina Garten. Soothing, friendly. A real comfort. Thank you for sharing your grocery hauls with us. It helps all learn more of pantry organization, to see what you have so you can make meals from those items on hand, saving tips, to check online pricing. I am SO glad I came across you. Have a blessed day 😋🤤😋🤤😋🤤😋
Sitting watching this while drinking my morning coffee! As someone from across the pond... I can't get over all the different products and brands you have! One thing that really strikes me is all the plastic that is used by American produce companies! Great video 😁
Lauren I really dislike all the plastic too. We are putting in our garden plot (doing the back to Eden garden) and can't wait to start growing our own produce. Hugs Shelby
this is a year haul not a month to month type of situation - I think that is the difference. Everyone's approach varies to provide for their family. This looks delish!
Love your channel. I know you and your husband have worked hard to get where you are in life , but I can't help thinking how blessed from the Lord above you are also . He must think you are very deserving . Good things come to those who do good things . Bless your kitchen in the year ahead . Can't waite to see what y'all make out of all that stuff . !
Barbara thank you for the beautiful words of encouragement, so heartfelt! I want to share something that has moved me to really think how Blessed we all are, so profound. It is a group of photos that shows what a week of groceries looks like around the world. ua-cam.com/video/lGfZRSjmpDg/v-deo.html Again thank you and God Bless!
This is a huge HUGE eye opener for me and you have inspired me to give this a try!! Even if I do a couple months at a time until I get the hang of it but I want to do this!! Thank you SO much for this video.
I just stumbled across your video and channel. First off wow! While it may seem like a lot of money you’ll probably save a lot in the long run! Secondly I’m so jealous of your pantry I live in Scotland and we don’t have pantries here it’s just you fridge, freezer and cupboards, I’ll just need to live through you. Thirdly I applaud your organisation on this mammoth shopping trip! Finally, you are such a lovely and kind person, there are close to 2,000 comments and I have scrolled through so many and seen that you have replied to all the ones I’ve seen! To take time out your day and personally write a thoughtful comment to each person is admirable. I hope you continue to make amazing videos such as this one as you clearly have talent given by the lord for reaching out to people! Well done keep up the great work xx
Your video popped up in my recommendation list today and I am so glad I watched. I have subscribed so I can see more. Awesome hauls and price savings. Can you share on how you make your own vanilla please? TFS!
Hi Rene and welcome to my channel, we have a great group here. I made the vanilla extract video and here is the link. Shelby ua-cam.com/video/VS3CuSgPE2A/v-deo.html
we are not that financially stable, but we go sometimes on grocery stores, mostly we only go to a market near us, and i really like watching these types of videos because it made me really happy and i always daydream about having this much food, and i just watched this 35min video and this just made my whole freaking night, this vid made me so happy, and ithink what made the video so amazing and beautiful is because youre very calm and very sweet lady❤️
Shelby - I made your compound garlic butter last night and the garlic bread was a big hit. Tonight I decided to add it to corn on the cob and it was delicious. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
Lori you will find so many ways to use the garlic butter.....stir fry shrimp, I have a scalloped potato recipe that uses it, you can add it to cooked rice for an instant flavor punch...........:D
Oh my goodness!!! I am drooling over your American food prices!! That haul would have easily been $6k Australian! For example, that 98 box of granola bars for $9.99 - we typically pay about $7 for 6 bars 😱😱😱 Amazing buys, makes me want to clean out my pantry, do some meal planning and then stock it up again! Thanks for taking the time to make this video for us.
I am always shocked at the prices in Australia and New Zealand. I used most of the items in my pantry and freezer the past few months, it was nice re stocking it. Hope you have a great weekend. Shelby
They do definitely have cheap prices, I did notice a lot was very similar to here (nz) like the beans, tomatoes etc. our prices are higher but our wages are a lot higher too so I think it probably works out similar. Maybe not the muesli bars though haha.
Everywhere I've seen says Australian minimum wage is $18/hr.. our US dollar equates to $1.36 in Australian dollar, and where I live our minimum wage is $8.10/hr..
That’s so wise to get it done. Saves gas, energy, time, headache.... What an enormous peace of mind! I did the math on what my bi-weekly grocery money budget is...and it came out to just under $3000 for the year...... So....you’ve gotten me thinking! New subscriber!!
I am loving your videos!!! I love when my food storage is full and organized. You have given me a lot of great ideas. I would love to see your big food storage area!!!
I know what you mean Andrea, I really need to get back into canning this fall. I did can 5 pints of brandies cherries yesterday, my neighbor brought me some cherries. So good over ice cream, kind of like Cherries Jubilee. I need to do some work organizing my bulk storage, we have been busy with a lot of outsider work this work. I'm thankful it's Sunday and I can rest LOL SHelby
I just subscribed but I love your delivery hauls. I just bought $600 walmart haul myself, but i bought dishes, pots & pans, blender, coffee pot, towels all kinds of stuff. I love shopping online because I can take my time & they deliver right to the door!! Awesome....I bought a big haul for my sister for her birthday...she had no idea & it was such a fun surprise for her!!
Hi Lilly and welcome to my channel. I agree, the person who invented the pantry delivery should be awarded the Pulitzer Peace Prize. You are such a great sis for doing that!!! God Bless Shelby
Can I just say your stockpile is a DREAM! my husband and I are in a pretty small town house with zero pantry space and I'd die for that much space to hold all the tasty things I have no room for!! Lol
I know what you mean Emily, my first pantry was a half cupboard. I always dreamed of a big pantry......I told Ken I would rather have that than diamonds LOL Have a great weekend!!!
Hi I've just found your channel and I love it!!! Loving the food haul. I live in the U.K. where houses are smaller. You are living my dream. ❤️❤️. Love all your videos. xx
Shelby you are such an inspiration! I’ve been married 5 months and have struggled with meal planning and making recipes that my hungry hubby likes! I’ve found myself coming to your channel a lot for inspiration. We have a large pantry, now I just need to figure out the best way to stock it up! Thanks for making such great content, God bless! 💗🙏🏼
Thanks for sharing this, I know it had to be a job just to record it all! I don’t know why I haven’t thought of ordering delivery from Sam’s Club, I usually order from Amazon and Walmart but Sam’s has a few things I can’t get anywhere else, thanks. The McCafe coffee is our favorite, great deal!
The cool thing about Sam's is the instant rebate they have in the stores, they give you with the online order. Like Walmart they packed the items very well and had free shipping. Hope you have a great weekend!
For some people $3000 is a fortune, for others it's a simple haul. Don't get me wrong but I need about $3000 for a life changing situation right now. For me that's an amount hard to get to when saving up. You're so blessed and fortunate. I loved the video, blessings! 😊💜
Hi there! Your video came up in my recommended and now I will be subscribing. Loved watching your haul. We are just a family of 4 but I try to shop the same as you. Right now we rent so limited in extra space but I make the most of it. Can’t wait to get into our own house next year and be able to stock up more. It really is such a savings to stock up and then make meal plans around what you already have! Look forward to your other videos!
Dam I wish I had that kind of money to spend on food! I’m so jealous! I live 30min from a pricey small grocery store and an hour from a Walmart so I get it but I just can’t afford to do it! I also am a disabled widow with one child at home still so I only have $250 to $300 a MONTH to use for groceries so I have to be careful on what I get! Some of your ideas do help and I’m grateful! God bless you !
One time at Aldi's I found 24 ounce packages of the sugar cured bacon for $2 each. We got 10 packs for our family of 3. And then again another time with 12 oz for a $1. 49 each.
OMG Shelby what a wonderful haul and your organisation is amazing. Just looking at the amount of plastic in the Target delivery boxes.we do all we can in Europe to minimise plastic but its a waste of time when everything is packaged in plastic. Wont the manufacturers and grocers ever help us to help the planet? Not getting at you, you are a brilliant homemaker. Xx
Candy V you will never get used to it, my dad used to shop for a family of 12 and now there only my parents and my brother and he still shop for about the same mambers 😂
sara Hassan I made a meat loaf last week my husband just made his last meet loaf sandwich. He said he's had enough meat loaf to last him until January 2019 lol
I am having the same problem. Now when I "over cook" I put some of it in the freezer then when we go to visit out college age daughter I take her a cooler of food. Win/ Win for both of us. :-) One day I will learn to cook for two.
We are empty nesters also, but with a twist. My hubby drives truck all week, so I'm here by myself. I don't cook for just me, so if I don't have anything I can grab, I just don't eat. Not good, but some days when I look in the fridge/freezer, I don't want any of it lol
Has anyone considered canning the leftovers? We are a family of 9 and people insist on leftovers but never eat it! I started pressure canning leftovers if I get a chance.
Thank you. We are all excited for the next match of the World Cup. We are hoping England win. We are having very hot weather at the moment so think a watermelon is on my grocery list today x have a blessed weekend
oh my, your a great mom, i shop at walmart and bjs. i do a big haul, also. but half of what you do LOL. i was just watching how well you spend your money on your family. some times people spend there money on themselves and buy there family unhealthy foods. some of the items you have i got also on my list. i love to see my pantry full. i love to shop for food for my family and snacks for my grands. very good. i just found your channel and i just fell in love with how well you talk to me and show us you shop. thank you and god bless you and the family.
Linda my first kitchen had a tiny half cupboard for a pantry. Some people dream of diamonds and such, I always wanted a large pantry hahahahaha Ken did a great job building the shelves. Have a good weekend! Shelby
Oh my gosh Shelby!! I don't even know where to start girl, first off can I come and stay with you for about a month? Just so I can watch and LEARN (and eat of course) this haul was amazing your groceries and the pantry finale was just Goals girl👍. I can't wait to see your next weekly meal plan. P.S. please share the recipe for that strawberry cake you were talking about.
I don't know much about budgeting or stocking up. I was never taught any of this I love your videos they help alot. I'm learning little by little the more I watch. I hope to some day get it together like y'all.
Woooww absolutely fabulous haul! Well done Shelby!!! Lots of good stuff To go through the year !!What is more satisfying to have full shelves of groceries? Love your laugh hun btw!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️big hugs and have a lovely weekend!!!😍😍😍😘😘😘
Hi Shelby. I saw in comments you did dave Ramsey. We're on step 2,chugging along. Could you do a video of how long it took you to complete step 2,amount of debt, and what your top favorite ways were to cut through corners to get to where you are. Also are you still doing his baby steps? If so what step you are on now. You have given my husband and I hope that will took be able to live like no one else debt free. To have solar and shop big hauls like this! Just find your channel and already loving it! Such an inspiration!
Step 2 was by far the hardest, but keep at it and then all the rest fall into place. We are on 7, and also funding the kids schooling. One of our boys wants to go to Carnegie Melon for his masters, yikes! I told Ken we might need to come out of retirement. LOL Keep up the great work guys!!!
You could get half of a cow from a cattle farmer for around $400-$600 butchered. You choose how you want it cut or if you would prefer it to be ground. You would have around 450 lbs. of beef. You could do the same with a pig. We order our groceries online from Kroger, but we do a pickup. We live too far out for delivery.
OMGosh, I think we are so much alike. We ordered a cow two years ago and it was a HUGE Blessing. I am saving to do that again, maybe this winter! Shelby
This reminds me of home i was raised in the middle of no where land 12 people in all 10 acres of farmland closest anything was 3 hours driving distance and in the winters it could take a sold month to get to us we did trips like this once a month and right before the first frost we would drop thousands on food. We all so had 5 5,500 gallon tanks for propane and gas for the winter. And fire wood too. We didnt have indoor electricity. We had 2 pot belly stoves.
TheQueensCabinet yes where i was in vw in them three hours we had 4 stop lights and 3 pavement roads lol it was the best thing ever now we did have a "out light" witch was where we had electricity ran we had 3 of the commercial freezers 2 commercial refrigerator's in one of the big long deep freezers and later on we had two of the side by sides refrigerator freezers we hunted fished we used it all even the bones to make arrows. If it moves i can kill drain skin de meat it cook it and use the hole carcass. Back then it was simpler living.
I hear you on expensive groceries, I live in British Columbia Canada.. went up to the grocery store for a few things, one grocery bag was $45! It's brutal! This has to be the biggest pantry stock up I have ever seen.. Your house is absolutely stunning! I am starting to do my pantry stock up now before my kids go to school in September, although there are no places here that deliver !! So I'm a tad jealous :) great video!
Sarah you are beautiful and smart!!! Stocking your pantry as you can helps out in so many ways. Our family went to BC when I was a child, what a beautiful place to live!! I'd like to get back there and visit. Wishing you all the best Shelby
So are you!! :). It truly is beautiful here, very beautiful. We are lucky. Although we are in the middle of a heatwave currently..And the past week has been 33-34 degrees C .. Tomorrow is 37! Beautiful but hot! very hot.. had to do a throwback of the oldies and make an icebox cake .. no way that oven is going on! lol
Hi👋👋 I'm new to your channel! And I'm so glad I saw your video..🤗 This was a great shopping haul! I think the best I've ever seen! We have similar ideas about stocking up.... I thought I was the only one who blelieved in extreme grocery hauls to avoid excessive and expensive runs to the grocery.. This was great! Thanks so much for sharing..
Awe thanks Von and welcome to my channel. We have a great group here! Great minds think a like ahahahah Our town only has one grocery store that is crazy expensive, so we try and stock up the pantry and freezer about once a year. Then we just fill in with perishables as needed. We have a large family and cook most meals at home, so this really helps us stay within our budget. Hugs Shelby
Holy haul! I wish I had the space to shop like that!! We literally eat everything we buy in a week...one day I’ll have more space to stock up. Very fun to watch!
When Ken and I were first married I had a TINY cupboard for a pantry, if you could call it that. I always dreamed of a big pantry, it is what sold me on this house. Hugs Shelby
WOW!!! Amazing job, Shelby!! Must be a great feeling to have your major grocery shopping done for the next year. Just did a smallish Costco haul today...haven't the room for a whole lot. Besides, there's only two of us old folks and we don't eat much any more. :-| We came home drained from the effort of walking around that big store so I know what you mean about the blessing of having your groceries delivered. If I weren't such a control freak--wanting to pick out my own groceries, I'd probably look into having them delivered. It may eventually come to that, tho'. :-D Thanks for all of the meal ideas. Hugs.......
Sunny I know what you mean about liking to pick out your groceries, it's good to know you have an option. I sure hope you two are having a great weekend. Hugs Shelby
I still have a lot more areas of the house to organize but i'm slowly getting them done. It sure helps save time having things in their place. Hugs Shelby
Thanks for the hauls so helpful more than you know budget wise and all need help with menu planning for a single person, I'm using my second bedroom for a pantry my apartment kitchen does not come with a pantry. I like to be prepared and I don't like to go to the store all the time so I grocery shop online. Thanks girl for the ideas.
Been looking forward to this one! Queen of groceries hauls! My pantry is about the same size as yours and its given me such inspiration on how to better organize it. I love to stock up but this haul is amazing!!!!! Also those French onion rings are good on top of burgers and brats too! 😋 just got back from vacation so I need to catch up on some videos, this one caught my eye instantly lol.
first time seeing your channel love it but I have 1 thing 2 say right now maybe more later..dont know what area you live in but your prices are so gosh darn high!!!!! Iive in California bay area & our prices are so so much cheaper!! I didn't realize how lucky & blessed we are in regards to prices! but you go girl seems like you are so organized cant wait 2 watch another video
Welcome to my channel, we have a great group here. Ken and I live outside of LA and we miss the grocery prices and all the wonderful produce. Hugs Shelby
I love this, since it’s an annual thing you know exactly how much you’ve spent on food for the year and you can plan your meals around this. 😋👍🏼 I just never knew meat can stay in the freezer for a year! If i leave mine in the freezer for too long they’ll get freezer burn 😆
Patricia I don't know if you are familiar with the Food Saver, I love mine. You can vacuum pack the meat airtight and it prevents freezer burn, I think they advertise it keeps things fresh 5x longer, or something like that. The bags can be a little pricey, but I buy mine in bulk once a year or so to get a discount. Shelby
Great haul! My ears perked up when you mentioned the grade b vanilla beans. I would love to try making some homemade vanilla. May I ask your source and do you have a recipe for it?
Linda I made a video on this because so many requested it. ua-cam.com/video/VS3CuSgPE2A/v-deo.html Vanilla Extract Ingredients: half gallon Ball canning jar 1 pound Grade B Madagascar Vanilla Beans 8 cup Vodka Sterilize jar in boiling water for ten minutes. Split vanilla beans and add to jar. Fill jar with Vodka and seal. Let sit in dark, cool place in pantry. Shake every month or so. I make mine at the Holidays for the next year, and this recipe makes a beautiful concentrated vanilla extract. The longer it sits, the better it gets.
This might sound weird, but I was in the middle of an anxiety attack and nothing I was doing was helping me calm down. I made myself sit and watch something that I knew would be fun, and by the end of your video I had relaxed.
Thanks for helping bring a little joy to my life :)
Allie thank you. Simply thank you.........I just showed Ken you comment. You made my day, that is for sure. Bless your heart!!! Shelby
Me too omg small world! I had a rough night with anxiety too and this has made me so calm and happy to watch
Allie her voice calms me too lol . You guys are so blessed,
Allie awww bless you x I know that feeling .
I don’t know why i like grocery halls but here I am on a marathon of them at 8am 😂 such a good video 🙃😁
Aw thank you Shelby
and here i am a month later doing the very same thing. at the same time and i live alone and rearly ever buy grocery.
And here I am 2 years later~love these hauls, pantry tours!😂
You probably like them because deep down you want a stockpile like they do that’s why I watch them
This lady reminds me of my aunt, I loved her.
I am reading this beautiful comment 4 years later and it’s made my heart full, your aunt was an amazing woman.😊
🥹🥹🥹 this is how family should be! What a great person your aunty is. ❤
Mama Bear i agree ,, please show us some hearty roasts and meat recipes !!
Check out Good Wishes. The guy has a sense of humor too 😊
Tammy Harris Has
she literally has her own grocery store in her house lol
That is a good way to look at it Madeline :D Shelby
Thought what I'm thinking all i can think of is expiration dates😭😭
I have to buy in bulk every month!
Madeline Stainback a lot of money on groceries. Her husband must make good money
@@chrisfry436 plus I saw she had 3 bottles of 57 sauce already in the pantry, yet in the sam club/ walmart haul, she got another 57.
Let make it clear
The fruit and vegetables will prolly last a month it won't last for a year
With a family that size and a grocery bill that large i would love to see a tour of your liquor cabinet 😂
😂
her family aint that big i don't think lol 5 people i believe . but boys can definitely eat !!!. or maybe its just mine lol .
Josh Brennan 🤣🤣🤣🤣
krysta kosherr mahmod i think both sides’ parents- she does a lot of meals for them too,I think they are getting on and need a hand
Fire that video up 😂
Your pantry makes me smile. Having a big pantry, fully stocked and organized, is every mother's dream 😍😍 lol
Hugs Shelby
My mom and aunt do the same thing with garlic!
Stealing this idea from Mom.
I love seeing stuff like this when I purchase my house it’s gonna be full just like this. It hits me differently because I came from very humble beginnings and didn’t always have a full fridge and cabinets. 💯💕
I love shopping and my cabinets stocked full. Full cabinets gives you such a good feeling.
I know what you mean Anita. It saves so much money to be able to whip dinner up from the pantry, especially when you stock up on a good sale. Hope you have a fantastic weekend girlfriend!!!!!
TheQueensCabinet You too Shelby. Hugs
Yes! I get a little anxious when staples run low!
As we live paycheck to paycheck, we could never do something like this. It sure looks like fun to do. God bless.
JP don't say never, Ken and I lived pay check to pay check when we were first married. I would highly recommend Dave Ramsey's 6 baby steps, you won't regret it!!! Hugs Shelby
TheQueensCabinet Thank you! Will look into it right away.
NICE!!!!
I'm the same way. We stopped buying meat.. because if the cost. But we own our home and are debt free.
Well said
That was one of the most satisfying hauls I’ve ever experienced.
Thanks Bailey!
Aw thank you!
I just did the same thing!
Freezer and pantry is stocked up for my family for the next 6 months. Spent about a $1000 and your right it sure does save money!
Thanks for the video, you gave me a lot of ideas on what to get next time 🤗
Kaitra that is so awesome! I agree it saves money in the long run for sure. Hope you have a great weekend!!! Shelby
I simply love and adore you!
Vicariously*
Alice Ribeiro oops 😉
Please share what do you do with the chilies .... I’m drooling over here Dang it momma I love your hauls... YOU ARE THE BOMB... KEN IS THE BOMB TOO. XOXOXO
Tia TT I was thinking this very thing!
I love going back and watching your stock-ups! The comment sections get so funny after this long 😂😂
They do Hannah.
Shelby
Just listening to her listing off the items and their prices was therapeutic.
This pantry makes my OCD heart happy! It's a relief to see a full pantry too.
Also I have had the wonderful pleasure of eating roasted green chili peppers from New Mexico!! Yum yum!!
I really miss seeing your stock up this year. I hope all is well. ❤
Can you show us how youstore stuff .. like how do you store your veggies. And meat..
Also ..does the stuff you order off online have longer shelf life.. I have noticed the stuff in the store will expire in just two weeks .. so I can’t stock up. Hope this is a clear question. =)
Kelly I use greensavers in the veggie/fruit bins and change the filters every 3 months
www.containerstore.com/s/oxo-greensaver-crisper-inserts/d?productId=11001490&q=greensaver
When I store meat in the freezer I package it in Food Saver bags.
Kathy Heskett Targets customer service was fantastic about replacing. Shelby
I’ve never seen such a big haul in my life lol ! Was exciting to watch thanks for sharing. How awesome it was to be able to have stuff delivered to you!
Thanks Stephanie. The Walmart Pantry wad awesome! Whomever thought it up should get an award. Have a great weekend! Shelby
Your pantry is a grocery store to most! That haul is huge! Enjoyed watching the prices as I am from Canada! Your food costs are so much cheaper then ours!
Cindy so many of my Canadian viewers have said how expensive food prices are there. I can't even imagine. Hope you are having a great weekend!
Same!! It’s crazy the price difference here
Wow!! That was a mega haul!! It must feel awesome to be so well stocked!! Your pantry is beautiful , so well organized. Can't wait to see the beautiful meals that come out of all that!
Aw thanks Nancy, I was so glad I didn't have to haul all that stuff. Who ever invented the pantry delivery service deserves a Nobel Peace Prize.
Thank you Tony! Shelby
You look great with bangs! Thanks for these helpful organization videos.
Never in my whole life have I ever heard of canned roast beef! I can't wait to see what you do with it. Your recipes are always inspirational.
Donna thank you for the encouragement and kind words. You made my day!! Hugs Shelby
That's $250/mo for a family of 6 ....wow! You did an amazing job even with the splurges!!!!
Thank you Miss Jamie!
This is a huge HUGE eye opener for me and you have inspired me to give this a try!! Even if I do a couple months at a time until I get the hang of it but I want to do this!! Thank you SO much for this video.
My pleasure Meghan, I fill in with perishables as needed. Hugs Shelby
Shelby
ua-cam.com/video/VS3CuSgPE2A/v-deo.html
This is the biggest haul that i've watched! And it is soooo satisfying to watch. 😍😍😍
Thanks :D
we are not that financially stable, but we go sometimes on grocery stores, mostly we only go to a market near us, and i really like watching these types of videos because it made me really happy and i always daydream about having this much food, and i just watched this 35min video and this just made my whole freaking night, this vid made me so happy, and ithink what made the video so amazing and beautiful is because youre very calm and very sweet lady❤️
Wow thank you so much for sharing. I’ve been binge watching your haul videos and they are awesome.
Im from Australia to and was thinking this would be good to do, then realised its far to expensive, even shopping around for bargains :(
Everywhere I've seen says Australian minimum wage is $18/hr.. our US dollar equates to $1.36 in Australian dollar, and where I live our minimum wage is $8.10/hr..
So that explains why things are more expensive in Australia, because you guys make a hell of a lot more lol. (if what I read is true of course.)
This is the best so far,I love it that its a year stock, but also your the only one who tells us the price,96percent of your food is healthy
Aw thanks Kacy. I loved the Walmart Pantry delivery, they had some really good online specials too. Have a great weekend!! Shelby
That’s so wise to get it done. Saves gas, energy, time, headache.... What an enormous peace of mind! I did the math on what my bi-weekly grocery money budget is...and it came out to just under $3000 for the year...... So....you’ve gotten me thinking! New subscriber!!
Thanks Robin and welcome to my channel :D Shelby
I am loving your videos!!! I love when my food storage is full and organized. You have given me a lot of great ideas. I would love to see your big food storage area!!!
I know what you mean Andrea, I really need to get back into canning this fall. I did can 5 pints of brandies cherries yesterday, my neighbor brought me some cherries. So good over ice cream, kind of like Cherries Jubilee. I need to do some work organizing my bulk storage, we have been busy with a lot of outsider work this work. I'm thankful it's Sunday and I can rest LOL SHelby
If you don't have a video already, please do one on how you menu plan. I am so weak in this area. Thanks.
I have had a lot of requests for this, so will add to the list. Hope you are having a great weekend!!!
You got this!!
Some people have all the luck i have to go to food banks the struggle is real
Thanks for sharing this, I know it had to be a job just to record it all! I don’t know why I haven’t thought of ordering delivery from Sam’s Club, I usually order from Amazon and Walmart but Sam’s has a few things I can’t get anywhere else, thanks. The McCafe coffee is our favorite, great deal!
The cool thing about Sam's is the instant rebate they have in the stores, they give you with the online order. Like Walmart they packed the items very well and had free shipping. Hope you have a great weekend!
I loved watching this. You eat so completely differently to us. We don’t do spicy 🥵. Loved your video. Thank you.
For some people $3000 is a fortune, for others it's a simple haul. Don't get me wrong but I need about $3000 for a life changing situation right now. For me that's an amount hard to get to when saving up. You're so blessed and fortunate. I loved the video, blessings! 😊💜
I honestly don't know why I love these videos so much. We don't even have any of those stores here in the Netherlands..
Well said Amanda and welcome to my channel. Wishing you all the best with your new home, so excited for you. :D Shelby
And then again another time with 12 oz for a $1. 49 each.
OMG can you please adopt me? I'm 36 married with 2 boys 4 and 7. Let me know 🤗
"Let me know " 😁😁😁😁
me too 4 kids and a hubby here. .we are very neat lmao
Xx
I can’t believe how bare your cupboard in your pantry are. I binged your videos today and started my pantry .
Wow! I remember doing that when my girls lived at home. Now I'm still learning how to shop and cook for just my husband and my self. LOL
Just came across your channel and i loved it . I will be subscribing and catching up on all the other vlogs x
Thank you and welcome to my channel. We have a great group here, and I am so glad you will be joining us. Shelby
Wow what a lot of unpacking and organising!! Great video xx
Thanks Sarah, thank goodness most of it was delivered. Hope you have a great weekend!!
Thank you. We are all excited for the next match of the World Cup. We are hoping England win. We are having very hot weather at the moment so think a watermelon is on my grocery list today x have a blessed weekend
Great haul and delivery service is SO helpful and such a time and energy saver! Love all of your videos!
Awe thank you!
oh my, your a great mom, i shop at walmart and bjs. i do a big haul, also. but half of what you do LOL. i was just watching how well you spend your money on your family. some times people spend there money on themselves and buy there family unhealthy foods. some of the items you have i got also on my list. i love to see my pantry full. i love to shop for food for my family and snacks for my grands. very good. i just found your channel and i just fell in love with how well you talk to me and show us you shop. thank you and god bless you and the family.
Thank you Nicole for the kind words of encouragement and welcome to my channel. We have such a great group here! :D Shelby
I used our delivery boxes for sheet mulching too. I think I found my people!!!!
Lori now that Ken is getting all his projects done, I need him to get my garden going! :D
Omg. I wish I had the space you have. Awesome. Love the deliveries. You are a great cook.
Chrissy I always read your comments with an Aussie accent and it makes me HaPpY!!! Here is the cake recipe

TheQueensCabinet xx keep up the great vlogs xx 💕 💕
Shelby
WAS SO BORED AND CAME ACROSS YOUR VIDEO AND I IMMEDIATELY SUBSCRIBED...
That is a ton of propane! We lived in LA area our entire life and I have been enjoying the change. I just wish we had a decent grocery store!
Back then it was simpler living.
bubbles_ 61104 I bet you had a nice big garden!
Beautiful but hot! very hot.. had to do a throwback of the oldies and make an icebox cake .. no way that oven is going on! lol
Sarah Ladouceur I hear that!
Sarah Ladouceur I moved to BC this week! I hear ya on grocery prices .. :( at least it’s beautiful here!
It is absolutely gorgeous here! But the gas prices, grocery prices, car insurance etc just continues to get worse and worse It's brutal!
Hugs Shelby
I love it! Thanks so much for sharing!
Hugs Shelby
Tip for ranch mix. They have a big bottle of ranch seasoning instead of buying the packages.
I will be on the look out next time. Thank you for mentioning Shelby
You are possibly the most organized person on Earth. :)
I still have a lot more areas of the house to organize but i'm slowly getting them done. It sure helps save time having things in their place. Hugs Shelby
Oh my gosh!! I have so enjoyed living vicariously through you. I wish one day to do just that... Truly loved this video.. 😁
Thank you Celia!
Love your videos. I copied you're spice cabinet jars but created a 6 level shelf Best idea ever!!! Thank you for sharing your ideas. Blessings
Girl coming from you that is such a compliment, besides I have been copying you for years LOL Good to see you are doing well! Love ya
Wow! This is just amazing! I loved this video.
Aw thanks Jess
New to your channel. Intrigued by the haul now I want to see what you cook up. Love it.
Thank you Melissa and welcome to my channel. Shelby
I love your hauls. Your pantry makes me drool. I don’t even have a pantry. So I can live vicariously through you!
Hey JoJo I haven't seen you in awhile. How is your daughter doing?
Been looking forward to this one! Queen of groceries hauls! My pantry is about the same size as yours and its given me such inspiration on how to better organize it. I love to stock up but this haul is amazing!!!!! Also those French onion rings are good on top of burgers and brats too! 😋 just got back from vacation so I need to catch up on some videos, this one caught my eye instantly lol.
Ken is addicted to those fried onion rings LOL Hope you got some good R & R on your vacation!!! Hugs Shelby
first time seeing your channel love it but I have 1 thing 2 say right now maybe more later..dont know what area you live in but your prices are so gosh darn high!!!!!
Shelby
Patricia Anne .....get on the Food Saver email list...sales all year long.
Great haul! My ears perked up when you mentioned the grade b vanilla beans. I would love to try making some homemade vanilla. May I ask your source and do you have a recipe for it?
Linda I made a video on this because so many requested it.
ua-cam.com/video/VS3CuSgPE2A/v-deo.html
Vanilla Extract Ingredients:
half gallon Ball canning jar
1 pound Grade B Madagascar Vanilla Beans
8 cup Vodka
Sterilize jar in boiling water for ten minutes.
I really appreciate and enjoyed your video. So many wonderful ideas. Blessings to you and your family always.
Thank you Daisy. Wishing you all the best too! Shelby
I would love to see how you cook! Your very blessed & thanks for sharing ☺️
Did you ever consider buying a half a cow or a half a pig?
