I’m on the same page Elisha. I learned guitar a while ago and it seriously takes up so much of my free time these days. I think you might like to try it. It’s a bit tricky at first but like jiu jitsu or something you just gets better month by month. and then there you are… sitting in front of your 4x12 Speaker cabinet, with a 100W amp sitting on top, plugged into a 7 string guitar down tuned with some crispy pickups, and you hit that power chord and you feel this wall of power+sound combined fills the room and vibrates the walls and then you start just chunkin it and playing heavy riffs that you think of on the spot and it’s just like ‘fuck yeah’
@@jakeofalltrades8088 Hell yeah bro same here. Im mainly a drummer also, but picked up guitar as well and love them both. Nothing beats playing along to an album front to back and knowing all the songs. And the rush you get when playing certain songs is just awesome.
Every now and then you discover a new piece of music which lifts the veil and lets you take a peak at the cogs of reality. This is one such piece. Thank you Elisha!
Ayy dude I used to watch your channel pretty regularly about a year ago I'm glad we are witnessing history at the same time. I know you are a metalhead as well but I still wasn't expecting to see you in the comments section let alone make this video. That riff goes way too hard probably one of my favorites from this EP. This truly does cure depression! Imma go check your videos again👌
As a little kid I liked listening to oldies rocknRoll and classical music. One day my music teacher asked what kind of music I liked and I said classical and most of the class laughed at me. In my teens I discovered jazz and edm. I still listen to those genres and other stuff😂
Awesome to see you vibing to metal again Elisha. I know you haven’t had the highest opinion of music lately but your older commentaries on metal are one of my primary reasons for subscribing 💯
I love the kind of music that the channel Electronic Gems posts, and some other types of music, usually stuff that sounds uplifting, fun, or heroic. This song is pretty cool man, it's intense!
Oh! We all have different taste on music to get kicks out of excitement to feel good. Bless those who can sing or play an instrument to embrace the instant "getaway"
Sick riff! I really enjoyed "Slaughterhouse 2" from Knocked Loose these days. The way he screams along the guitar in the chorus makes me feel like I could destroy everything. In a positive way
I watched you talk about your neighbor when i was on 🍄 i didnt think we had much in common tho but your where right about these dudes maybe we got more in common than i thought 🤔
Hey Elisha great recommendation , would you mind sharing more songs recommendation or straight up your playlist , i think that would be helpful , since i'm looking for song that have the same vibe as this one !
This is definitely different. Like a wierd tech progressive djent. I prefer just groovier heavier. Chimaira, Whitechapel, Impending Doom, Carnifex, I declare War, Suffocation, Ingested, Shadows Fall, All That Remains, Killswitch Engage, Vulvodynia, Enterprise Earth, Bleeding Through, Bloodsimple, Mudvayne, Pantera, Job For a Cowboy
I've listened to metal since I was about 10 years old, will be 41 this year, so metal has been there for me for over 30 years. Once you understand it and can appreciate it, nothing can compare. The subgenre you are listening to is called djent. It was started by Meshuggah, and then continued by bands like Periphery, but if you want some absolute sheer brutality for strength training, check out Aborted's new album, "Vault of Horrors". Nothing but testosterone fuel.
Wow, I didn't know Elisha is a prog metalhead 🤣. I truly believe that music cures depression. Every time I feel sad I play The marriage of Figaro / "Duettino" Sull 'Aria - Mozart (The same song of The Shawshank Redemption) I thank God for my ears that let me listen this beauty... Gratitude -> Beauty -> Love -> feel good :). God bless y'all.

Take pride in creating that sound
One of the best descriptions of playing music I've ever read. I can relate but my main instrument is drums

Try Glenn Branca The Ascension. His band had 8 guitarists. Its from 1981 not easy to find . It is goosebumpy in a simlar way to this stuff.
I’ve been listening to them since August of 2023, so happy to see how fast they’ve grown and how far they’ve come…
What type of music do you guys like?
Metal,mostly Sabaton
80s
proggy stuff, this definitely fits my style
I recommend DISEMBODIED TYRANT/SYNESTIA - ua-cam.com/video/Vnb4x1bBx9g/v-deo.html
and Slaughter To Prevail - ua-cam.com/video/79ojlwMzs0Q/v-deo.html
Midwest emo. Gonna see American Football in DC and maybe Chinese Football in philly
Han Zimmer soundtracks are my motivators.
As a musician myself the music that gives me most goosebumps are the songs that are slow up until an explosive climax

holy sick riff, thanks for the recommendation dude
Rock and roll and metal keep that fire in the belly 🔥
Vildhjarta is one of my favorites. Similar style but much darker. never heard of this band so I'm pumped for this

Listen to Flash FM from GTA: Vice City and Vice City Stories.
