Chiiii I subscribed within the first 60 seconds of video lmao. When I was trying to do brush waves a few years ago there were hardly any women on youtube waving and even the men were still using the old school 360 wave grease method which did NOT work for me. Now I'm inspired to cut this ish off and try again!!

Thank you so much! I was feeling incredibly frustrated and angry about my recent decision to cut off my 20-year old locs. It’s been such an expensive and time-consuming journey. But I’m feeling much more hopeful after watching your video. Thank you so much for the information and for making me laugh in the process!

Girl!!!! I was hoping you did a double take on that Slo mo when you took off your boo boo cap 🙌🏾🙌🏾, now for my question I am new to waving and I don't really know where to start, let's say I have a brush, du rag, boo boo cap, TGIN butter cream for moisture and I also use their shampoo and conditioner. I don't know what type of pomade to get and how often do I use all of these products once I start. Any advice would definitely be appreciated so that I could just get started. TIA

    •  5 років тому +4

Part 2 will definitely answer some of your questions! You have all the right stuff. You don't necessarily need pomade. I don't use it and still get great results. I would suggest shea butter and castor oil (because they are thicker and can act as a pomade). After you watch part 2, come back and let me know if you have additional questions!

    • @rocknthefro
      @rocknthefro 5 років тому

Jená Emily Utley will definitely do that, I have Castro Oil and the TGIN butter cream is made from Shea butter, but will check out part 2...thanks again 🙌🏾

Do remember the stylist who told you about using the different developer on going blonde??? Have you tried it yet and how often do you start the process of bleaching??? Love ya sis

    •  5 років тому +1

I tried it! It didn't work as well. I don't bleach my hair that often. If I want to upkeep the color (which is rare for me) I will re-bleach 1 time every 2-3 weeks.

4c girls and guys DO have waves and curls. They are really tight but only really show when the hair is WELL hydrated (inside and outside of the hair shaft). I'm with the other ladies, look up course wavers! They are out there!

You probably said this in the video but how often do you need to do this?

    •  5 років тому +1

I only do it when I've been slacking on my hair routine and I need to revive my waves... so not that often. I typically do the steps I show in part II ua-cam.com/video/vBWmyy5qR0g/v-deo.html

How do you keep your hair the silver color after wash & wash? Does the color stay the same thru the washing?

    •  4 роки тому

I wash my hair with purple shampoo and that helps to keep the color true.

I want to be about this life sooo bad. The texture of my hair would have y’all seasick, man!😂 I just can’t wear du rags! It’s either so tight I get headaches or too loose to stay on. What’s a girl to do!?

    •  5 років тому +2

😂 I talked about tight durags in part 2. Try the satin wrap scarf that I use. The straps are so thick that you can apply a small amount of pressure and it will stay on firm without slipping off!

Maybe Michigan water or hormones was giving you disobedient hair. All those yrs John loved you with big hair , all those vids with lots of hair. You look amazing no matter what. But think about John growing his hair long, dying it green and cutting it in a Mohawk. You would still love him. Culturally for him a woman has hair. Yall started cutting it together, now you go get it cut. I just want you to see a side different than just the chopped side.
