Woah, I get around 3 hours of battery life on my OLED steam deck. Lower the TDP limit a bit. The game has some pop in issues, but I don't really care.
Otherwise! Yes! This game is awesome! Someone recommended I play it and I've been hooked this entire time! About 9 hours in. It is a joy~
I've been playing it for the better part of a week on the OLED. I find it plays best at 40fps to preserve battery life.

Fanatical had a deal recently (I think it’s still going on actually?) where you buy one new title for $20+ and choose one of nine games for free. Got Manor Lords for $30 and Prey for free. Best BOGO deal I’ve seen in a while.

Fantastic game but it can be very difficult if you don't pay attention and properly learn the resource crafting and thinking of imaginative ways of progressing using the environment around you which is why many people wrote it off when released as being too difficult.

Suggestion for a future series of videos. Digital foundry had a to big for steam deck video about 9 months ago. It would be great if you could retest remant 2 and a plague tale requirem as an example.

No need... those 2 games are heavy fsr 30fps titles plain and simple, even with unlocked TDP to 22w doesn't help

Crysis 1-3 is fantastic on the deck as well. The deck handles CryEngine pretty good.
Hello all, I'm having an issue where I can't play the game using the buttons on the deck to play the game. It defaults to a controller. Has anyone else faced that?

Silly question maybe you could answer. Every time you start your deck you get shaders download for your games. Is it best to let that finish before playing a game?
Hey! It should help lessen shader stutter if the game has any, so far I didn't see any issues if I stop those downloads

I completed the game on PC, but the alien mimics were way too fast for me. It made for a very frustrating experience. No way could I play it handheld though.
You could also turn down the gyro to like 25%
