they are the true definition of "cool kids".
I discovered them weeks back, and I'm too immersed in their world, I never listened to bjork until I found out this band.
discovering the sugarcubes then discovering bjork is such a strange experience i'll never forget, it feels different. what's more interesting to me is that I still can't believe they grow older, in my mind they're still very young
I wonder how they feel about getting older when they experience being the sugarcubes..

The Icelanders that I met, for the most part, seem to be genteel, humble, and highly intelligent. The Sugarcubes are very indicative of that.

Thomas Stones Nah, they were on their way to global success but internal band problems emerged and Bjork also wanted to branch out on her own.

They were a bit freaked out by the thought of world dame after 'Birthday' exploded; Bjork was ready to go solo and I heard they are all very close still as she spends a lot of time in Iceland.

she’s throwing them easy, standard music interview questions and they keep coming back by challenging whatever she says despite most of it being common knowledge or they reply with short dumb answers that completely miss the point half the time (especially from the guy on the right). i think she did a good job keeping it rolling so smooth since she was working w these pretentious nincompoops
