1:26 Hahahaha😅 Einar's naughty face, pointing his finger at Björk hahahaha how much tenderness they gave me. .. how they started to play and joke with her.🥰
they are the true definition of "cool kids". I discovered them weeks back, and I'm too immersed in their world, I never listened to bjork until I found out this band. discovering the sugarcubes then discovering bjork is such a strange experience i'll never forget, it feels different. what's more interesting to me is that I still can't believe they grow older, in my mind they're still very young I wonder how they feel about getting older when they experience being the sugarcubes..
They were a bit freaked out by the thought of world dame after 'Birthday' exploded; Bjork was ready to go solo and I heard they are all very close still as she spends a lot of time in Iceland.
hahaha check out the sugarcubes fucking with the interviewer 14:55, giving a "history lesson" on how icelanders were invaded by the turks and use the arabic script, and she just nods and smiles and continues on to the next question

she’s throwing them easy, standard music interview questions and they keep coming back by challenging whatever she says despite most of it being common knowledge or they reply with short dumb answers that completely miss the point half the time (especially from the guy on the right). i think she did a good job keeping it rolling so smooth since she was working w these pretentious nincompoops
I so love Bjork she’s so soft and delicate childlike but so interesting and intelligent ❤️❤️❤️
@Talorc MacAllan bit extreme
She was, is and always will be absolutely adorable!
I think another way to put it is she acts Coy and it's adorable
She sounds very naive actually
They are so chilled out

I love the Icelandic accent when speaking English.
I loooove this interview

I like the tonality of her voice...& nothing else.
Just marking this for my future depressive self to be happy 16:55
The Icelanders that I met, for the most part, seem to be genteel, humble, and highly intelligent. The Sugarcubes are very indicative of that.
What happened to The Sugarcubes- did they dissolve? Bahahaha!
thejollyjumbuck yes, 25 years ago but did a one-off reunion gig in 2006
I would sell my left foot to have seen that reunion.
egoisnotadirtyword The cultural tastes of the world weren't refined enough for the Sugarcubes.
Thomas Stones Nah, they were on their way to global success but internal band problems emerged and Bjork also wanted to branch out on her own.
They were a bit freaked out by the thought of world dame after 'Birthday' exploded; Bjork was ready to go solo and I heard they are all very close still as she spends a lot of time in Iceland.
When he said nusrat Fatah ali Khan my face lit with glee

@@Elixearthat’s great, I wish I was brought up in iceland
They had their heads on straight and knew the score from the get go.
Love Björk’s sweater.. kicks ass!
Greetings from Hungary!
we simply must have them back.....
Agreed

they fooled me. I just believed them for the moment and look it up, but found nothing
Sasa Milic I didn't get that part
You can see their reluctance to say that Deus refers to the Judeo-Christian god, and that basically the song means “God does not exist”!
Truth hurts!
The guy on the right reminds me of Johnny Depp plus Travis Fimmel from Vikings of History Channel.
I see it.
And the dude on the left reminds me of John Lithgow with a hint of Meryl Streep
He reminds me more on ...heath ledger...the right one...
