Discovered it at a crucial moment in my life; it helped me to pick the right path when i was at a crossroad.

This is one of Bob’s most underrated albums; this and New Morning were both classics.
Exactly what have been arguing with people for the last 40 years my two favorites along with oh Mercy and the second of the acoustic solo albums he did in the 90s Most of the time from a mercy is one of the most incredible confessions I have ever heard in song

I know I am dreading the day Bob is not with us anymore. His music will live on in our hearts and memories though. I saw him up close and personal In New Zealand three times. The last time was the best .He and the audience had such a great time. So beautiful ❤

It's not dark yet.....
The ones who know, know. I’ve seen everyone you can imagine in concert. But nothing compares to seeing him in 2018. Merle haggard, eagles CDB Styx Neil young. They were all great. But when I left the Dylan show I carried it with me for months, it was a completely different experience. I’d felt like I just watch Beethoven do a set before my very eyes. Incredible.
Great song from one of Dylan’s most underrated albums.

I love this album! It took awhile for the critics to warm to it, but I knew right off. Also love, Never Say Goodbye". Man, and Forever Young is an anthem! Thanks bro. for bringing this back into the light, for the ones who maybe don't know. From the linear notes to the very last little scratch on my record, I love it!! Did I mention I love this?

It's hard to imagine a world without Bob Dylan. A hero of our time, talent and sensitivity that nourished us in the good and in the bad. He touched everybody' life.

Först time i saw Dylan was in" trädgårdsföreningen " in Gothenburg i dont know maybe 30 years or so , it was the best concert . Summer , a big park not much of People , its not a big arena , the connection between the publik and the musikinstrument and Dylan was very tight . Not as it is on the big arenas . I have been on many of his concerts here in Sweden after that, but this was the best of them !!! Lottis

Dylan's only non-Captiol Records album. Big Hit back in the day. The Band is fantastic on this. The songs are total knockouts! all of them.
Bob recorded for Columbia records. He had a couple on asylum records. This one and the album called Dylan. It was all cover songs.
The Dylan "Dylan" album was Columbia Records way of getting back at Bob for signing with Asylum Records. Later Bob's two Asylum albums, Planet Waves and the live Before the Flood were brought back to Columbia/Sony Records. They now are in charge of distribution of all of Bob's 40 albums.
I think these four albums, Planet Waves, Blood On The Tracks, Desire, and Street Legal define a relationship coming apart at the seams, no matter how hard the people involved are trying to keep it together and then the realization the thread isn't going to hold no matter how hard they try.
@@robertgreen4139 thanks for the excellent comment I consider Bob to have a dependent personality, particularly dependent on women. Probably due to a dominant mother. Drugs are, or were, the fall-back go-to surrogate when the woman rejected him. Then Jesus became Bob's savior and solution to the dependency problem. I respect that, and like his Christian albums, but as I am a Catholic, never much liked the overall Fundamentalism...another form of dependence on something exterior. Am glad Bob got through that.
Street-Legal was Dylan in his prime, imo. Nothing before and after sounded alike @@robertgreen4139

Tengo 46 años y yo recién conocí este disco en los 90's, cuando conocí ese disco el internet recien estaba apareciendo en mi país, en Perú, me acuerdo que un amigo me decía, que bien que te guste este disco, Planet Waves, ya que es uno de los discos mas infravalorados de Dylan, el me decía ello y también en las revistas de rock que habían en esa época le ponían poca valoración al disco Planet Waves, mi amigo me decía, mejor ello, así solo poquitos lo conocen, jaja pero era una estupidez no enamorarse de esa voz que usa Dylan en ese disco y de esa guitarra de Robbie. Gracias Robbie por este disco y por tantas cosas maravillosas que hiciste en vida.
