Finaly playing the greatest campaign of all time
Steal the enemy's comns and "rip the fattest cheeks" killed me especially with the added context of BT's speech about knowing the enemy's communication being a huge tactical advantage.

Right? This game looks better than a lot of games today on that old a55 engine. They worked magic. This is one of my favorite games not only because of it's gameplay and story, but for how well it performed out of the box years back. I think I originally played it on a AMD Phenom and GTX 750ti and it was smooth back then. I'm so glad it's back and people are enjoying it. I hope this resurgence forces EA to give us the TF3 / Apex crossover game we keep getting teased over.

The plot behind the game is actually a sci-fi version of the American revolution, just swapping muskets for mechs. It’s the first game I’ve played that feels like you’re actually in a movie, not even mentioning just how good the gameplay itself feels. Best FPS of all time, nothing comes close for me.
I've got the platinum on this game, and the hard difficulty wasn't too bad imo. Hardest trophy was beating the ghost time in the gauntlet, but very doable if you get the epg that's hidden.
Tip for gauntlet, using arcbolt nades and eva 8 is the loadout you want. Try to wall run more, do like shorter wall runs with more jumping between walls, if you feel like you are going to hit the floor, make sure you slide to conserve momentum. You can also start b-hopping after you enter the slide :)

The gun you were using at the start was the flatline, a gun that has only horizontal recoil.
For the gauntlet when bouncing back n forth on walls I'm going to give you a tip from a brynato vid that helped me. When your pov as a pilot begins to change and go to an angle do a wall kick. You'll notice your pilots hand starting to dip to touch the wall at the same time. I have a few runs if you wanna check them out as they might help you. They're not super extremely fast and you can probably pick it up pretty easy.
I love how the enemy pilots complain about how op monarch is
Sliding too much will slow you down slide and then jump and then wait 3 seconds and if you’re running off a wall crouch while in the air and then keep jumping when you touch the ground but don’t double jump. It’s called bunny hopping.

My guy, that gauntlet run was painful.
Have crouch on hold: sprint,crouch(keep holding it), jump(still holding crouch), when you hit the ground, jump again(still holding crouch), repeat

Alternatively, you can leave crouch on toggle and just re-crouch in the air with every jump. More comfortable that way on controller, for me at least
You gotta understand this game was made by the people who did the ORIGINAL Call of Duty, from the first ones up to MW2 (i think).
And it shows, they've mastered the genre.

I want a titanfall 1 campaign remaster release before Titanfall 3 and Titanfall 3 needs a much longer campaign than 2 by far for it to surpass 2

Nope it's just a multiplayer based campaign meaning no real campaign that's why Titanfall 2 was so damn good was because they realized their mistake and went all in on 2 to ensure it had a great story, this is why we need a real Titanfall 1 to bridge the gap between 1 and 2 before 3 can drop @@Zach-cn4lb

You should always let Lastimosa set your difficulty based on your movement in Gauntlet. You for sure would have been set to Hard, and I promise you'll absorb the "story" a hell of a lot better with the threat of death looming over you and BT. Because that's kind of part of their journey together.
People have finished that tutorial gauntlet in 11 seconds (and 4 seconds with TAS)

Gotcha hahaha. You might wanna experiment with bumper jumper control scheme if you haven't already. Jumping with RB frees up your right thumb, so you can look around freely while jumping and wallrunning.
Imma be real with you that gauntlet was slow asf, like 30 seconds is the average also touching the floor is forbidden
