- In Surah An-Nisaa Nouman Ali Khan teaches us about how Allah warns against jealousy and envy. It is what drove iblis out of His grace and what led Cain to kill Abel. When this feeling rests in the heart, it affects all aspects of life and make it hard to be grateful for all of Allah's gifts. Yet in this ayah, Allah also provides the perfect solution: we must stop comparing ourselves to others and focus on asking Him directly for what you want. This will open the doors to internal peace and security, and is proof of our complete trust in Allah's grace.

I've been really jealous over a thing in my life the past few months, it has literally been feeling like a heavy burden on my chest because I know it's wrong. Thank you Nouman Ali Khan.....i have watched countless of your videos, and this is the only one i commented . I am a Jealous type. May Allaah swt Forgive me, and help me fight Shaytaan to cure me this disease. But Alhamdulillah my jealousy is not worst than u describe. I am jealous of what my friends have, i don't want theirs to be taken away. I want all of us to have the same thing, so that we can be equal, and not feel less than them. But watching this Khutbaah made me change mind completely. From now, By Allaaah swt is my witness. every time jealousy come to mind, i will say Alhamdulillah for what Allaah swt has given me, and may Allaah swt increase others of what they have, and also bless me with what Allaah swt feels fit for me to have. I am a wrongdoer with a lack of guidance and ppl are jealous of me ..came at me and sadly still do ...
The ghasad only lessened once I sadly cut family members out that was harmful to me ...
The ghasad was so strong I got it from my ex ..but I feel that true blessings from Allah isnt money or worldly possession..blessings is having good ppl that wants best 4 u ..I found that in strangers ..ppl who are not blood.
Those that are Allah conscience...
Not those who pretend infront of others...
I then prayed that Allah opend my eyes to see ppl 4 who they are on the inside ...instead of what others see on the outside ...

he’s absolutely correct envy can destroy the person being envied. that’s why Allah gave us ayahs to protect ourselves by reading the 3 quls. envy makes people tell lies on another person they can be wholly innocent and yet that lie will be believed. the hardest envy to deal with is that which comes from those who are closest to you, may Allah protect us and our children ameen
