My wife and I got to chat with Hank a long time ago at Bass Pro in Atlanta not to long after Dale died. He was and still is one of our favorite humans. It's really nice when you admire someone and get to meet them, and they are exactly the person you thought they would be. Lifelong fan!
So what you’re saying is in person I’m as fat, ugly, and dumb as you thought I was. 😂🤣😅 Thanks for the support!
Hahaha@@HankParkerOutdoorMagazineMy wife still has the picture you gave her with a phone # to call your office and they would send us a copy of the tribute show you did for Dale. We also talked about how funny we thought Hank Jr's impressions of you were!😆😆✌
Use to watch these shows with my dad and grandpa back in the day so it definitely brings back some memories. My dad and grandpa was big time bass fisherman and taught me so much over the years. I always loved it when we take out the boat and I would just break off and do my own thing without instruction and catch 10 times more fish and my grandpa would be like what you doing how you working that lure lol. Good times
Thanks hank I can't stop smiling 2 of the greatest pros to ever drive a race car or a ranger boat
Watched every week back then, loved seeing this now.
Man this brings me back to my youth watching this. The night fishing episode was one I really remember! Thanks for posting this!
Man that’s the way all tournaments should be done today, weigh em take a pic release it. Ol dale was such a cool guy
I’ve been a fan of Hank Parker for a long time now, and I know that I’m not alone. We’re all fans of his because of his authentic love of the outdoors, and it comes through in everything he does.
I really enjoy the episodes of Hank Parker’s Outdoor Magazine, and I’d love to see some more of them, especially from his third season. Season 3 was in 1987, and I was really getting into fishing at that time. I remember watching those episodes religiously and taking notes on the tips and tricks that Hank was showing. I still use some of the techniques that I learned from him back then!
Hank, it would be really great if you could upload those episodes from Season 3. I think it would be great for your fans, as well as for a new generation of anglers.👍
Hank Parker’s interview on the Dale Jr Download is really good.
Love the old episodes!! Brings back so many good memories!! Bonus are the old commercials!! Boy, we’ve come a long way in fishing equipment, haven’t we?!?!
Thanks Hank!! That took me back to a special time when my Dad and I would get together and watch your shows. Precious memories!!!
Wow, cool footage of Dale and Hank!
Man, this took me back to Saturday mornings growing up! Ole hank you taught me a lot.
I love these nostalgic fishing videos .The same with the original BASSMASTERS T.V.Series 😉🤠
It’s a 1986 episode of Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine, which is the last episode of Season 2. Professional race car driver Dale Earnhardt teams up with host Hank Parker for a charity tournament on Lake Norman in North Carolina. This is a fun and special episode.
Hank also fishes one of his most underwater structures. The bloopers and outtakes at the end are hilarious. You've never seen these before.
There is also some great footage of the natural beauty in America's wilderness. This episode is a real treat. I enjoyed it from start to finish. This is the last episode of “Hank Parker’s Outdoor Magazine” featuring “Chunkin’ and Windin’” as Hank’s original theme song. Unfortunately, copyright issues have made it impossible for Hank to use the song in future episodes. This makes this episode all the more precious. I’m glad I’m able to revisit it, and I’m sure I’ll enjoy all the episodes with the new theme song, too. I just wanted to appreciate this moment.👍
It brings back good old memories I had the exact same ranger 350 Comanche with a GT 150 Johnson on it by brand new at greens outboard Spindale North Carolina in 1986 those were the good old days back thin
Man that was back in the day pure 80's had a good one 👍
Thanks. That's just Awesome
Man, where have all the years gone!? I'm the same age as Hank and watching this brought back so many good memories.
I can't believe Dale didn't cheat up them scales
2 of my childhood heros.
Dale probably knew lake Norman like the back of his hand!! Two legendary outdoorsmen
I'm 61 and liked watching the Bass Pro tournaments, Not so much these days.
And yes, I'm a huge Nascar fan Davey Allison was my fav. now its Blaney
Earnhardt immediately started thinking about how to work the weigh in system. A true racer! RIP
Dale was such a likeable guy for the few to say he wasn't likeable. I say the legend won in the end
That’s too cool 😎
I am so proud I was alive and enjoyed back when life was SO good back then!! Unlike today’s BS!! #FJB 🖕
Will you ever ship your spinner bait to Canada?
Please, send me back to 85’…
What would you say would be the single biggest change or improvement in fishing equipment from then till now? Graphite Fishing Rods? Bait Casting reels? Fishing line such as super braid and fluorocarbon? Or better and more numerous lure/bait choices? I'll leave the sonar technology out of it this time.
9:37 I believe he's from the Stroker Ace movie.Makes jewelry out of manure 😂
I just saw a show you said need forward sonar because of pressure? Huh? Wat?, that crap will increase pressure by far and make all the lakes worse, the pros are saying so, but if your sponsored by them guess that's what you'd say, that sonar is ridiculous and takes skill out, hope it's banned
9:37 Stroker Ace actor 😅 ,manure jewelry maker😅
This is very old
Fake
Talk about a Tech shush Wishull. Gal Dang.
I remember watching you fish and watching Dale race with my dad when I was a kid. Great memories of a more simple time and I wouldn’t trade them for anything.
