Thank you Yuki!!!! I really appreciate you taking the time to post this wonderful performance Thank you so much. It means a great deal to me, as a life long fan. We must stand up and believe in what is right. This S**T has got to stop and we cannot let these haters in America tell us how we should live. His new song really gives us all an important voice to fight against this hypcrasy across America.
Saturday night in New Orleans, Clapton broke his vow to never to perform at a venue that requires proof of vaccination. Since he is now in the USA, perhaps he is realizing just how bad the pandemic is... especially here in southern states. His next scheduled show, at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, now requires either vaccine or a negative test for entry. For your loved ones...... VAX UP/MASK UP.
Thanks for sharing. Going to Nashville next week. Keep hoping Joe Bonamassa might drop by and do a guest number like Eric did with him at RAH! I’m going to keep saying it and maybe it will happen! 😆🙏🤞🙏

@@waynelynch3862 Venues and local ordinances always in control of vax requirements and New Orleans added that after ticket sales. Eric would have had to to a breech of contract cancellation. And Nashville requirement does not start until Oct 2 after Eric’s show. I checked after I saw your comment because my friend has only had 1st shot. Ticketmaster has been great about flagging any venue for Covid requirements but they can change so everyone needs to check before going to any event.
@@jobo-and-mo Thanks for the update. Like most southern states, Tennessee is having a Covid surge. The National Guard has been brought in to assist Tennessee hospitals this week. Too bad that Bridgestone Arena is waiting until Oct 2nd. Nashville is like my city. They gained some ground and then they let their guard down, acting like Covid is gone. Indoor Concerts are Super Spreader events. It is just not fair for the thousands of health care workers that have died from Covid. I already lost 2 friends to this pandemic. Glad that Joe Bonamassa is not coming until after the Covid requirements kick in. I saw Clapton in his prime, during the Journeyman tour & it was incredible. I'm not impressed with his current show. Only 1.5 hours and I don't care for half the Set List. Reminds me of a cruise ship Legends in Concert. I would love to see Joe Bonamassa. He played here at our smaller concert hall before Covid, but tickets were $100.00+. I refuse to pay that price unless Hendrix returned from the grave. Same for The Eagles and Glenn Frey:) I have seen all my favorite groups back in the day, including Hendrix, Zeppelin, Santana, Eagles, George Harrison, Bowie etc...
@@waynelynch3862 I will raise you one. Saw all 4 Beatles - twice. 😆. But FYI unless govt. does mandate for all, you have to look at each venue. The Ryman has issued some extra requirements per artist request but not all including none for Joe B. You have to look at each venue, each artist. And you can still get Joe tickets for $81 at Ryman. $100 gets you a very good seat. Shoot B’ham amp was selling last row $100 for Chris Stapleton! Joe’s tickets have remained consistent and you can get some price break if you buy on fan presale before public sale.
@@jobo-and-mo I will raise you one. I saw Hendrix at Atlanta Pop Festival 1970. Google the line up. It included, Bob Seger, Spirit, Ten Years After, B.B. @@Cristian-vm1bg Agree, the electric ''Layla'' is timeless. At the ''Journeyman'' concert he blew the roof off the place when he opened w/''Pretending.'' @@waynelynch3862 white room and running on faith particularly during that tour were so amazing. Gah. I’m gonna just tell people I was there (even tho I was 2). Amazing set list. I don’t think it’s exaggerating to say that tour featured some of the best guitar playing of all time
And I kinda Agree, this wasn’t the best of Clapton at this show. I wanted to see him one more time kind of as a pilgrimage since he’s gonna be done soon. So I was happy he was still able to rip it a little. But yeah This one for me was just about seeing the legend in person one last time

I wish he would’ve done the electric version. With this lineup of musicians especially Bramhall he would’ve killed it.
Same. Hope he does electric version in Atlanta in 3 days
@John Longdick it’s the end that I miss when he does acoustic version. The ending of the original is absolutely beautiful
Everyone sing along with this classic drinking song.
