this is such a powerful scene, i love how the audience shares this very very special moment and takes the perspective of mia just to get slapt in the face when seb is ignoring her and rushing out of the restaurant you just gotta hate and love him at the same time... simply beautiful!

I used to hear this song a lot on my trip to SF to meet a 'friend'. We drove down to LA, visited some la la land locations, had fun and ultimately had my heart broken. Whenever i hear this song I'm reminded of those memories. I used to cry about it but not anymore. But i still have fond memories i'll always hold dear to my heart.

When he started playing from his soul, it called to her, and she responded. Nobody else could feel the passion and the love he poured into this song, but she could. Michael DiGiacomo I do believe the fact that he copied the correct hand movement and rough hand placement on the piano. Is just there’s no way he could play that after a few weeks or months of practice, that’s all. :)

Let a lot of liberty to the person you employ / the artist in this case Or just say "You do this set list and this is all" I think if you want to keep someone in very long term you nees to trust him and let some liberties In this case it appears like it was the second option. Honestly, Sebastian deserved to get fired. He had a specific job to perform Christmas music that night, and had been given a warning not to stray from the playlist. He was too pretentious to just do his job right and instead chose to force his music on the patrons. J Jonah Jameson went too easy on him, frankly.
Played this for my school talent show. Not the deck the halls part tho. I was going to if it was around Christmas :) it was grades k-8 talent show. I’m 7th and everyone was blown away! I felt really proud.
Marco’s Career It’s just scales mostly. I had a few months to prepare. Just practice. I started slow and then progressed. Also I used sheet music. Tbh, it was kind of sloppy and could’ve been better but I pulled it off.
