You need to retrain your support staff. I was just told that I needed to use an optical cable in order to get sound. The tv is an OLED 65 C9 PUA with EARC. The receiver is also supports ARC. Yamaha TSR-7850 7 channel 4k

I bought an LG OLED77B39LA and an LG DSP 11RA 7.1 Soundbar. I connected them via optical cable and I tried also Bluetooth. Both connection work, but only in stereo. I tried all the native apps (apple TV, Netflix, Prime), none of them work in surround. I tried everything I found online and still nothing. Update all the devices, reset and so on. Still Nothing! It is utmost disappointing, since I upgraded from a 65 inch Samsung QLED TV where everything worked like a charm. How is this possible?

LG Support team, In our LG Smart TV, we have the option to select bluetooth speaker. However, this selection is not saved. Everytime, we power off, the TV-Bluetooth pairing has to be done again manually. I have a LG OLED 65 C7P and a Marantz 5012 receiver. I have the HDMI connected to the ARC port on both the TV and receiver. I have the TV sound audio out settings Digital Out set to Automatic and Simplink (HD-CEC) set to on. I have the ARC set to On in the Video setting on the Marantz receiver. Video from Netflix and Amazon Prime plays but I don't get any audio. When I play Netflix and Amazon Prime on my Blu-ray, the picture and sound plays fine. I did the steps mentioned in the video and when I try to use my speakers all I get is loud static. I have my tv plugged into my DAC with an optical cord. My DAC plugged into my receiver. When i just turn on the HTS and its connected my phone Bluetooth , the sound is so loud and robust. After 5 secs the sound slowly declines and stops at a much lower and softer level.

I did the steps mentioned in the video and when I try to use my speakers all I get is loud static. I have my tv plugged into my DAC with an optical cord. My DAC plugged into my receiver. I can play music using my DAC off of my computer just fine. Does anyone know how to fix this or what I dod wrong?

I am using the schiit modi 3 for my DAC into my yamaha receiver connected to my bookshelf speakers I usually use for vinyl, but it would be great if I could use them for my TV also. When i just turn on the HTS and its connected my phone Bluetooth , the sound is so loud and robust. After 5 secs the sound slowly declines and stops at a much lower and softer level.
