AJ and lifelong friend John Arkwright head to Algoma Country located in Northern Ontario, Canada to tour the snowmobile trails that make up the Soo Highlands Loop and the Northshore Loop. During their stay, they take advantage of the welcoming hospitality that the communities of Sault Ste. Marie, Elliot Lake and Spanish have to offer.
AJ's in the TRAIL TECH shop breathing a bit more life into his 2000 Ski-Doo Touring E380 Fan with the help of some aftermarket accessories Kimpex that will help him stay inside his budget and keep this sled on the trail for years to come.
Then in TEST RIDE, Motorhead Mark finds a balance between the utility features and trail functionality of Yamaha's 2024 Transporter 800 featuring a 153-inch track, rear storage rack, tow hitch, long-range fuel capacity and a 794cc 2-stroke engine.

People have asked me why do you still snowmobile? I'm like, what do you mean? It's by far the best sport on the planet! It allows me to release all that tension from everyday life it gets me off the couch and gives me one heck of a workout. I see wildlife that I wouldn't see unless I was on my snowmobile. I meet great people develope long lasting relationships with those people. What more do we want human beings? I love it! Great story guys!
And almost no possibility of a Speeding Ticket ! Pin It ! Straight stretch again !
Great show again! Beautiful country! I always carry a small propane torch in the back of the truck for frozen locks. Pray for snow and cold temps!
First year I can remember no snowmobiling in Wisconsin. Season lasted a week lol! And that was pushing it! I went exactly 1 mile on trails turned around and went back home and haven't rode them since!
Minnesota here, did the same. Bout 5 miles total
Got 330 miles over a few days around the Green Bay Area a few weeks ago. Got another 165 up in the UP a couple weeks ago, but those were hard miles. Sure hope to get one more weekend anyway most likely all the way up in the UP again.

Question, this video is ELEVEN months old? It's confusing as it's just been posted 12 hours ago, but you've mentioned it being "March" several times in the video.
Correct. This was filmed this past spring for this season of SNOWTRAX. The intention is to showcase spring riding in Ontario for anyone planning a trip this March. Unfortunately with snow conditions being what they currently are, there's no guarantee conditions will be the same as they typically are as represented in this video.
There used to be a snow train out of Sault Ste. Marie . Do they still have this running
I don't think it is. The website hasn't been updated since 2019 and I can't find any further information online. I could be wrong though. Let's see if anyone else has some info they can share here...

The under hood spark plug holder is the absolute worst place to put that spare set of plugs. Also, never touch the glass part of a headlight bulb.
It's the transporter using the 800 ctec motor or did they design their own?
It's the same machine as the Norseman
It's the Cat 800 engine.
What gear is John running there? His jacket and bib set up look pretty ideal for warmer ride days. I'm looking for something similar for myself.
He's wearing Klim. I'll find out what model his jacket is.
