People need to stop being focused on fps. Remember when we had locked 30fps on current gen consoles? FPS does not equal quality, it just doesn’t. Sacrifice some fps for quality. I run basic settings ( default) running standard ASUS driver (none side loaded) and get 50-70fps on 15W mode handheld. Decent quality. We also need to remember it’s a handheld. It’s never going to look ‘OMG’
I agree with 1080 being too much for the small screen. 900p is crisp, and even 720p is enjoyable as long as there’s no FSR. I’m happy to see this new COD running well on the handhelds. It’s an awesome way to play
You think they’ll fix the blurry textures at some point for the ally? Runs great it’s just those weird textures randomly happen and get a little annoying after a while.
Dude forgot he was playing on a handheld and complained at 720p low settings 😂 Honestly this is fantastic, just a few years ago we had zero chance of playing AAA games handheld and instead would get bad ports or different games with the same name on PSP, Vita, 3DS and even switch.
It’s important to set the VRAM on the Ally to 6GB. The game will stutter beyond this. VRAM scale setting is also important and setting it to 50 or 60 not 90/max. I read this on Reddit but if the VRAM usage in game gets beyond 40%, the game stutters so you have to do settings around that
@@Javs_Techyeah it’s a MW engine problem, even on my 4070 rig, I will get packet burst if the vram is not set correctly. Since the vram and ram is shared on the ally, it’s much worse in terms of stuttering. This has been a problem since MWIII
Mw3 stutters so hard on the ally x I get constant packet bursts it only plays decent when I have it at 900p with low settings and gpu set to 6gb and nvidia scaling set to performance I get like 90-100fps on 17w mode chilling. Also set vram scale to 60
My rog ally just runs slow and crappy even if a game isn’t running and it’s a hit or miss sometimes the game runs decent and others it unbearable and won’t even load. Any help or suggestions? Will a hard reset possibly fix that?
Any reason my game takes forever to load on the Ally? I just don’t let it load and shut it down that’s how long. It’s only a few month old Ally and it’s the Extreme processor one as well
Loading times depends on how fast your storage is. So if your game is stored on a Micro-SD card, that's why your game takes so long to load. It shouldn't even load since CoD needs very fast storage to play. If it does load, the game is gonna be insanely slow and have missing textures everywhere
black ops 6? depends what you want to play the full package is like 100gb i think also IF you do buy the ally you should get 3 months of gamepass so you can play black ops 6 for free
@ nice I’m using a 240 ole as with the same kinda dock ima try tomaro I just bought bo6 it wouldent let me use my scuff envision controller with the free Xbox version so I had to buy it
You need to enable Frame generation from the campaign menu, I don't know why that option not in multiplayer, just go to story mode and you will find Frame Generation option
The fact that BO6 Plays on a handheld with Integrated Graphics for $350 used is insane. Love my Ally
Integrated Graphics?
@@DMVBaller362 iGPUs...
@DMVBaller362 the rog ally has integrated graphica
For a screen this small I’m super happy with 720p and medium settings
Set vram to auto on ally. This seems to prevent potato textures appearing for now
It's similar thing on bo3 expect bo3 auto causes no texture to not load in
How you do that?

We only need at least smooth experience of course we don’t need crazy graphics on handheld devices
On other genres I would agree but fps specially online you need that smooth shit
Would you say it’s viable to play online multiplayer with? I’m considering buying one.
In my opinion, I’ve done real well playing MP on this. It’s performed well enough for me to get some decent stats
Anything over 90fps is good for online gaming ! You can get some better settings.
Did you ever get one? Cause if not I am picking one up today and can give you a direct answer.
@@ryannnftwupdate us!
Thanks for having this out! I am debating on buying the Ally X and wanted to see if this game would run well.
Slightly not too crazy though
@@Am94514 I actually ended up with the ROG G14 2024 lol instead of the handheld.

Does 900p make a graphics difference tho?
@@theprophetier7756 No at all

Set VRAM to auto, that seems to be fixing this issue
I have vram auto and I have lots of artifacts and it flashes when I play
Hey I was trying to play docked this morning with an external control but I wasn’t able to get it play for some reason
Thankyou for the Upload 👍
np, glad you found it useful 😁

im using 6gb, but the vram limit was set to the default, which i think is either 80% or 90%

Don’t believe everything you read on Reddit. I have 8GB set (this was default out the box) and no issue. The in game settings are set to automatic.

My graphics were bad before i set vram to auto but now im dealing with constant lag
CoD needs a fast storage to play, which Micro-SD cards are insanely slow. Otherwise, the game is gonna have missing textures and run slow as a snail.
are you usingg the z1 extreme?
yeah

I'm getting Textures that look like a potato 🥔... ? Have you gotten texture not loading ?
happens to me in this vid
Is this the z1 or z1e
Regular
Fsr 1 runs hella better !
I’m thinking of buying a rog ally z1e how much gb is it to download

900p fsr locked at 60 seems to be the way
my pick also

Extreme
Is it normal that I have lots of artifacts and that it flashes when I play?
nope mine looks normal
is it only happening in cod? or other games too
@Javs_Tech no just in call of duty
how do i get this game to stop crashing on my rog ally?
do you know what your video memory is set to?
and do you get an error code when the game crashes?
Anyone using with a monitor ? And controller
I’m using the JSAUX Dock HB1201S with my 27’ MSI 165hz Monitor freesync enabled.

😂 really just said it's kinda hard to aim while it's just your aim nit the device and also what trash player blames device on your skill
I got my ally a week ago. How do i enable fsr 3?
i think i show it in the video? it'll be in the graphics menu -> quality and then upscaling
@Javs_Tech my bad, thank you
You need to enable Frame generation from the campaign menu, I don't know why that option not in multiplayer, just go to story mode and you will find Frame Generation option
Mines not thus bad I'm always getting 90 100 fps docking station performance soothing sees a 120 150 fps on turbo (in menu and stat of match)
Can you do zombies

que tal funciona en la rog ally normal
90fps is decent 😂go back to like 7 years even 20. 30-60fps you better than photography grade
trust me i remember, i finished borderlands 2 on the vita 😂
that thing can barely push 15 frames
