So good how they turned the big bad into this MCU type villain lmao. This scene reads more like something from Harry Potter than GoT 😂
They should have gone back to the low fantasy roots with sprinkles of high fantasy. Eg it would've been great if we never really saw the night king, or only saw glimpses of him. And in the end someone like Bran had to fight him telepathically, or sacrifice himself at the conclusion. IDK but the show succumbed to cgi & spectacle which was a shame.
MCU villain post 2018. Thanos is a great villian for Infinity war
Why not let dragon devour him ?
So dragonfire doesn't do shit but dragonglass does.
Mmmmmmok.
Jon was supposed to be the greatest Dragonrider ever. With his warg powers and Targaryen blood he should be unstoppable. Here, he looks like an amateur.
He looked like an amateur because he was an amateur, he barely had any experience
In the show he wasn't a warg (bullshit but ture) and it was literally his second time riding a dragon and it was a dragon duel of course he's a noob.
Cant make out a thing
So someone explain something to me, if the targaryns knew there was a wall of ice in the north with untold beasts and very much talked about wights behind it why have none of the Heirs just like flew over just to see if the Song of Ice and fire is legit. I mean like A song of ice and fire isnt even really a secret in the North everyone knows the myths and legends of both Ice and fire. A stark has always manned the wall with the Blacks and a Stark has always held its seat as warden of the north to the Targaryns so why havent either just been like ey lets start a campfire so we can stop manning this stupid thing.
Multiple reasons:
1 - The ASOIAF prophecy that House of the Dragon talked about isn’t confirmed to be canon. It’s likely it is but it’s not confirmed yet
2 - Little to nothing was known about the white walkers including their weaknesses and methods of killing
3 - Dragons can’t fly over the wall. When Alysanne visited the Wall with her dragon, her dragon didn’t want to go beyond the wall due to the freezing cold temperatures.
@@joeyjerry1586 Dragons can go beyond the wall . Daenerys dragon went beyond the wall
@@mauricefears1430, they shouldn’t have been able to though. Queen Alysanne’s dragon didn’t go beyond the wall so daenerys’s dragons shouldn’t have be able to either
@@joeyjerry1586 What do you mean the prophecy isn’t confirmed to be canon? It was literally mentioned in the show… is the house of the dragon show not in the same canon as the main show?
@@rileyd2025, canon only refers to the books. The show is merely an adaptation of the book but is not canon.
Why not have the dragon bite that MOFO in half? Rip him apart with his claws? Break him with his tail? Dragons have more than fire.. right?
He had that dragon killing spear
Jon Snow is so USELESS.
(He dusent wunt it)
The Director must be shit. It's so dark
so disappointing that you can't see what is going on.
