You could use the spine tester to find the stiffest side of the shaft and fletch it with a different color vane than other 2 so that it adds some forgiving. In addition, you could use the straightness spinning tool to find the wobble side of the shaft regardless of the brand sign and cut it with saw to increase the straightness for forgiving. Just share of experience. Love your video. Stay safe.
Love your videos! Rapid cooling of anything, however, makes it more brittle so I’d recommend letting it cool naturally. Thanks for all the info though!
A little bit of string wax on the nock helps with inserting to the bushing ... little trick I've picked up. Some of the F-nock and G-nock sizes can be a beast to install into these types of bushings.
I’ve learned so much in preparation of the addition to hunting into my life. And it’s all thanks to your content ! Thanks a lot knowledge is half the battle right !?
You probably already know this. I use a silver sharpie on the ends of my arrows before I square them. I square them until all of the sharpie is gone. Just something that has helped me. Cheers!
I'm pretty sure that your the better archer. But a lil tip for using the sanding stone lay the arrows on your bench and roll them back n forth while holding the stone. And it'll sand more square .
Any chance we could get a video about shooting a hinge and how you set ur ultra view hinge? Just got my first hinge release and want some Chris Bee tips 🙏
Hi Chris! What do you think about cleaning the grooves of the fletches right before put them on? I used to use sand paper to rub the bottom of the fletches to reach better adhesion. Without doing that they simply fell off. Thanks!
Hey Chris great videos I'm a big fan of the channel, I started watching when you did the stereotype videos. I doubt you will read this but I was wondering if you have the time to make another arrow build video talking about using inserts and outserts and sleeves on your arrows and getting into depth about them.
Sweet arrows, I shoot the SuperDrive 23 with 125 gr points. What did your arrow weight end up being ? I know u usually pull 70+ lbs, seems really light. Would a darker vain not be better for 3D to avoid others seeing them ?
Hi Chris I’ve been watching your vids and I have a question on what my pins should be sighted in for. My poundage is 41 pounds and I have a four pin sight so just wondering what the best yardages for my pins at that poundage. Thanks
Chris could you do a video on arrow trajectory? I won't you to shoot a light weight arrow say 300 grn arrow shooting 300fps and a 400 grn arrow shooting 300 fps witch or rows holds a better trajectory the light one or the heavy one. Thanks keep up the videos there great!!
Saw the blue color and said cold melt straight off. I often use a gun cleaning brass brush to lightly scratch the inside of shafts before installing points and inserts.and then I use a q-tip with alcohol to clean the inside of shafts before placing points/inserts.
What part of michigan are you from im in lansing mi i love watching your videos i wanna get back into hunting and your videos are kinda helping me learn stuff thank you
Hi Chris, Greatings from Germany. The Videos are great i am a big Fan. I wanted too buy your beereal vanes but on the Shop i can only see them in yellow. How can i buy them in White.
BBDragon66 if you’re considering this a 3D option, other people’s arrows are going to be the problem. From a design standpoint I think it better supports that end of the carbon.
Nice video. Interesting fletching Jig. However I would prefer that you don't have to hold the pressure with your hands but that the jig can do that. So I might keep the jig I have. I expected that the screw on the back of the vane holder, would be for that. I prefer to let each vane sit in the jig for 20-30 minutes. Not sure if it is really necessary, but I use NPV Saunders glue and it is not a fast curing glue. But anyways. One thing you forgot (at least to show) was to clean the inside of the shafts after cutting them. That especially goes for all-carbon shafts and A/C shafts with carbon inside. One interesting thing I noticed is how you glue in the points. It is more or less like I do it, except that I also heat the point, when I apply glue. Also I use pliers to hold the point, but with the way you do it, holding it with fingers might actually be ok. That might howeever also depend on the glue you use. Also I don't use fingers to wipe off the glue, I press the shaft / point, dowm against a newspaper and turn and move the arrow so the glue gets wiped off. But very interesting to see how you do it. :-) And nice to see you doing the classic error, pressing the nock in, without the nock tool... ;-)
You'll have to adjust your rest to compensate for different diameter shafts but otherwise if the spine, length and point weight are the same they should be fairly close in tune.
Hey Chris! Have you ever had a problem with this fletching jig like this one - when you pull the clamp away, it actually drags the vane and rips it off?
Great vid. Would love to see a hunting arrow build too.
Chris Bee videos during quarantine are the best honestly!😂🙌🏽🐝
True that

Thanks chris for putting your heart into showing us how to do this, if only this hobby was more popular - you would have way more subscribers!

Fletching up some superdrive 25s when I got the notification for this video. So I'll just take a break and watch some chris bee.
Your brass hinge is already starting to develop a nice patina to it from use. Have an aluminum one on reserve can't wait for it

Good tip! 👍

You heard it here first folks Chris Bee is not 100% straight
averagejoe ? 😂
Tim Wende 4:09
Do u provide any discounts on ur merch?
Would not have caught that if not for your comment. LOL
I think I will try to be more "graceful" when installing my next set of points. Good advice, Chris.
Any chance we could get a video about shooting a hinge and how you set ur ultra view hinge? Just got my first hinge release and want some Chris Bee tips 🙏
Thanks Chris build my SuperDrive 23s with no problem
Easton makes a pretty good arrow puller too Chris. Lol
Hanks for posting Chris you the best
Man I was freaking out with his hand so close to the flame!😂
As I understand it, the straightest part of the arrow is the middle so to speak. I’ve always trimmed off both ends.
A guy on archery talk makes mini arrow square devices for $17 and they're sweet
Rocking the brass release now
Hi Chris! What do you think about cleaning the grooves of the fletches right before put them on? I used to use sand paper to rub the bottom of the fletches to reach better adhesion. Without doing that they simply fell off. Thanks!
Just got my firs front bar back bar setup and it was so worth it
You should do the cheapest bow build you can
YESSS! I have been waiting for this video for awhile. Thanks!!!

What's the pros and cons of not cutting your arrows? Like I have a 28 draw length, but have been shooting 31" arrows (I think).
Do you ever Spine Test your arrows? How about the use of Wraps?
Richard Swett this and do you ever use pin nocks? Good video stuff.
It was at this point 20:36 Chris wished he used arrow lube.
A small amount of String Wax on the nock will make it easy to install and adjust.
About time bro so freakn excited...
Hey Chris, do you knock tune before fetching? Maybe I just buy cheaper arrows, but it makes a noticeable difference for me.
Since i have downtime like everyone else, i have a project.. Going to build a bow press like the EZ green bow press...
Sweet arrows, I shoot the SuperDrive 23 with 125 gr points. What did your arrow weight end up being ? I know u usually pull 70+ lbs, seems really light. Would a darker vain not be better for 3D to avoid others seeing them ?
I love your videos❤️❤️
Love you man
Is this a normal build or would you weigh each component to try to make them all around the same grain weight ?
What length should my arrows be if I have a 29” draw length?
Awesome vid
what does it cost per arrow approx when building your own target arrows?
What spine and insert weight do you shoot for Easton axis at 75 pounds
Hey Chris could I use this method on my hunting arrows
A Chris what do you use for the backstop? Where do you get those big black circle backstops?
Hi thanks for the new video
Where did you get the round bail targets
All my inserts came out do to bad glue, what glue do you recommend.
Where do u get those big targets at ?
Hi Chris I’ve been watching your vids and I have a question on what my pins should be sighted in for. My poundage is 41 pounds and I have a four pin sight so just wondering what the best yardages for my pins at that poundage. Thanks
Luke Conway 10 yards, 20 yards, 30 yards, 40 yards
Can you do a video on the importance of grip?
Awesome video bud. How many yards is that you shot at the end? And did you build those big targets behind the targets you shoot at?
Hi love the new video
Thanks for the arrow build!! That fletching jig is sweet! But super expensive, any recommendations on fletching jigs?
I'm enjoying my Goat Tuff GT Arrow Fletcher.
Yep,nothing like fletching up a dozen arrows.
When can we expect the additional colored vanes? Site only has yellow right now.
In the coming weeks. Hard for exact date due to Covid

Chris you should make bee real heat vanes
Dollar store glue sticks is the best glue. Havent lost a point yet
That's CoolMelt, not HotMelt. Lower melting point, less likely to damage the carbon shaft.
I said the same thing! LOL
Saw the blue color and said cold melt straight off. I often use a gun cleaning brass brush to lightly scratch the inside of shafts before installing points and inserts.and then I use a q-tip with alcohol to clean the inside of shafts before placing points/inserts.
Look so awesome. Can you do another bow build??
You should make a bee real quick fletch
Why no nockpins? weight, bad experience?
why would you want a bushing in the rear of the arrow?
does the last chance do helical or just offset?
good question. I want to know that myself. any answer yet?
What part of michigan are you from im in lansing mi i love watching your videos i wanna get back into hunting and your videos are kinda helping me learn stuff thank you
Love the videos. Very helpful and informative. Did I hear you say you were from Michigan? If so, where about? Im from the south east corner . Monroe..
Are you still shooting the x10s since you have these
Hi Chris,
Greatings from Germany. The Videos are great i am a big Fan.
I wanted too buy your beereal vanes but on the Shop i can only see them in yellow. How can i buy them in White.
Are you not a fan of pin nocks? Have you used them?
Was wondering the same thing. Maybe he just shoots 3 spot targets up close and doesn't expect to Robin Hood at 80 yards....much.
BBDragon66 if you’re considering this a 3D option, other people’s arrows are going to be the problem. From a design standpoint I think it better supports that end of the carbon.
Love the vids
Yo Chris do you think you can tweak my bow up pretty good because rn it’s not the greatest but I live in Michigan as well so maybe yes or no
Love your content Chris! Bit of a side note; but I’d love to hear what camera and lens you film these criiiisp vids with?
Dude I have an extra G-5 if you want it bro.
Anyone know where I can get a printable Vegas target online?
How much does your trx weigh ?
Why so light on the points?
To make it a light arrow so it’s fast
Is this your 3d or fita setup
You still filming with Sony? Or has Bryce converted you to Fujifilm?
beereal

10;18 he sound like cermet the frog
if chris wanted to give me any of his set ups for free i would not have a problem with it at all
Chris you dont score the inside of your arrows and then clean them before installing components?..
I didn't see any helical in that jig. 3 degrees refers to offset. So are they straight helical with a 3 degree offset?
What’s arrows should I used for my 28 with 26 length and 55lbs? Thanks
Just don't use the yellow glue. Only the blue bohning worked for me.
He really said he is not 100% straight
If I had hair like that I’d never wear a hat
This may be a dumb question... but can anyone tell me whether or not you have to re-tune with new arrows?
You'll have to adjust your rest to compensate for different diameter shafts but otherwise if the spine, length and point weight are the same they should be fairly close in tune.
Hey Chris! Have you ever had a problem with this fletching jig like this one - when you pull the clamp away, it actually drags the vane and rips it off?
I got so disappointed when he said it’s not bags of air😥
Last
Its pronounced like lanekister
ngl I shoot similar groups with $6 ebay arrows
👍💘🏹🇮🇶🇮🇶
Do an entire bow review with everything on it from sight tape to arrow on all of your bows and why you have them on there
First
You forgot to clean the inside of arrows first from cutting them.
What’s with the porno music
it's ridiculous a lot of work is better to buy them
