They should've done this with Roman imo. Imagine hearing he's going to Raw where he can feud with Gunther, Bron, Sheamus, and CM Punk, and then he gets drafted back to Smackdown so he can handle the Bloodline and whatever tf Solo thinks hes doing.
That was such a dumb move
Somewhere down the line, we're going to get a "New Bloodline" vs "Old Bloodline" storyline with Solo, Tonga & Fatu facing Roman and the Usos. Mark my words.
Meanwhile the Ross is the finals boss of the new bloodline and he’s grooming Solo to be better than Roman
Draft needs to be its own show or something, can't balance wrestling too.

Hey Stache club, I used to play predictions on an old forum ages ago. The format we used back then would be a good alternative to reduce the likelihood of a tie, it would flow like this:
- Determine who goes first (Person 1), that person picks a match and confidence points
- Person 2 now has to give confidence points for that same match and CANT use the same number that person 1 did
- At the same time, Person 2 now picks another match and assigns confidence points
- Repeat until all matches are scored
So example:
John goes first, Cody 5
Dante goes Cody 4, Bloodline 5
John goes Bloodline 4, Priest 3...
I feel it would even make it more interesting for people watching, as it opens the door for strategy as well, particularly when cards are not as predictable as this one :)
Wrestling ability is the least important requirement in Pro Wrestling and Punk and Drew prove that in every single seen they do. Love it.

If I was interested in actually combat sports I'd watched MMA but I don't care about that or movies so I watch the happy medium that is Pro Wrestling but your preference still doesn't dispute the fact that if you don't have a good character, good promo work and a good storyline behind you, you can be as talented as you want in in ring ability but you won't get over.
Guys like Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, Big Dawg Roman, Shelton Benjamin, Ronda Rousey, Bobby Lashley, late WWE Ambrose, and so many others that have come and gone are the perfect examples.
In ring ability amazing, character work? promo work? Storyline push? Lacking, and so they don't get over. I'm not saying in ring ability is NOT important, I'm saying it's the last in line for what is required to get over in Pro Wrestling.

The most interesting thing from the draft was when Judgment Day was drafted, Rhea wasn't included as a member.

Injured stars are ineligible to be drafted.
Pretty much anyone who is out on injury or something similar wasn't eligible to be drafted, even if they're part of a group I guess. Raquel, Charlotte, Shotzi, etc. Erik and Valhalla weren't drafted with Ivar, also.

We should just stop expecting so much out of the Draft. In fact, they should just call it Superstar Shakeup, which makes more sense if this is how WWE will go about it. In Kayfabe, The idea of a draft doesn’t make sense for WWE as wrestlers are already signed to a roster; why would they be free to change brands
You should try and guess the main event match length for a tie closes to mach time wins a tie.

I think an interesting idea for bringing people from NXT to Raw or Smackdown would be, have the NXT wrestler in a match against a low to mid carder from whichever brand. If the NXT wrestler wins, they get the loser's spot and the loser goes to NXT. It would be a good way to cycle the rosters and give new people a chance to shine. If it doesn't work, the next time they have the event again, just put them in a match to go back to NXT.

Love the sports talk! Honestly I wouldn't mind if you guys added this as a permanent segment. But man Jokic isn't "by far" the best player, give Giannis his praise. Trophy wise they are tied and stat wise is pretty divided with Jokic being more of an offense specialist and Giannis being a defensive specialist. Either way great podcast, was more entertaining than that weak draft wwe put us through.
Biggest thing with the draft is, without actually doing the math, something like 70% of the picks were staying in place.
With a second note of the faction stuff. Kind of like the free agent stuff. When you had single special cases with storylines , it stood out and gave something to those characters. It’s just weird that one pick will add like 5 people and another is one.
Diverticulitis is basically a balloon in your intestines. If it “pops”, results will vary, because it could be mostly benign inside, or actually an isolated pouch full of infection, dead cells, or parasites which is much worse. And if it ruptures on the outside, there’s an open path from your intestines to everything else in your gut.

The Draft, in my opinion, shouldn't exist if nobody notable is getting swapped to the other brand. If Triple H or whoever is in charge of who gets put on what brand, and specifically wants most of its top talent to continuing staying on that brand, just skip it for that year. Or have it happen later. The Draft doesn't *have* to happen after Mania, it can happen at any point during the year.
That, and it should also be it's own event like the press conferences they did before Elimination Chamber and Wrestlemania 40. That way everyone can get drafted on screen, *and* it doesn't take away from the matches. This years Draft is definitely the worst Draft we've ever had and I hope WWE learns from it. The NXT call ups are the only good thing about it but they've been drafting NXT stars since NXT started building names so that's nothing new.

When it comes to the women's tag titles, it doesn't really matter what the Kabuki Warriors have done with it since it'll be the same story no matter who wins at Backlash. I do want Asuka and Kairi to win, but whoever does end up winning will still have the same problem of the tag division not being all there yet.
Bianca and Jade winning will only make that problem more obvious, I think
Coming from a WWE house show in Austria straight to watching the best wrestling podcast makes my night.
Edit: Gunther said in an interview that Ilja is a better enemy than he is a friend so it probably will be a feud with imperium instead on him joining them

My dad has diverticulitis. He's unable to lift things over 250 pounds now or he could end up in the hospital. Surgery is necessary for people that have DT. Hoping nothing but the best for Kenny.

After they cut so many people who did go down to NXT and try to elevate that and just cut their contracts, I wouldn't want to go down and I would be fearful if I was a raw or Smackdown guy and I was asked to go to NXT after seeing Dolph Ziggler cut
Brock Lesnar has diverticulitis, just as an example go find the Frank Mir (I think) UFC fight where he absolutely crumpled from a body shot - it's a real issue Omega is facing

Heard Cody had a shoulder injury. If that's true they'll get him off TV for that but just the story told to get him the title he's not going to lose it for ages with how significant they are making title reigns. If Cody is healthy he'll win. If he's not then AJ. That's why an AJ win will not shock me.

The draft was a tad bit boring but this is why the champions stayed on each brands. Think of each brand as its own promotion.
Raw = wCw ( World Champions)
Smackdown = WWF / WWE.
NXT is the rookie brand ( minor league ) but change it to make it third brand.
Give NXT a show title.
Possibly call it Take over.
Example:
WWF = Smackdown
wCw = Raw / Nitro
NXT= Take Over or some other name.
The whole thing with Champions switching brands is how goofy would it sound having WWE champion, NXT North American championship ,World tag team championships on Raw. Makes NO sense.

Technically the only “champions” in Damage Conrol are the Kabuki Warriors….but yea it didn’t really make sense to me either!
There is only one Women's Tag Team Championship, the title can be defended on both Raw and SD, so the KW can be drafted and as long as they have the titles, they can roam wherever they want, even NXT 👍😊

I feel like they are just trying to do too much with this draft. and be to sports like, idk, it just felt like they cared more about the presentation and how it looked than the actual draft aspect of it, if that makes sense.

You win/win with the idea of matches determining the next draft pick. It helps elevate nxt to a third brand and can help avoid the idea of being "drafted down" by nxt. Imagine Carmelo comes out and shocks someone in the first match and NXT suddenly gets the very first pick. They can draft someone unexpected and immediately elevate the brand. You can even play up the angle of the drafted superstar feeling like they're above the brand and end up having to go through a "prove it" angle where the locker room rejects them and they have to prove THEIR worth to nxt as the newcomer.
The draft was such a bummer.
