This is exactly what I want to do with a scooter. Can you please show a video showing you loading and unloading your scooter. I know you've mentioned you've calculated the weights but have you weighed your van with the scooter, rack and carrier as the cantilever calculations can be greater on your rear axle? I'm very conscious of the 3500kg maximum with these vans and motorhomes. Thanks.
Thank you Colin, I have done a previous video showing loading and unloading the scooter on this rack, ( Motorhome with a scooter ) unfortunately I have not had a chance yet to weigh the van fully loaded because the lack of a weigh bridge near by. I have calculated every piece of item with allowances and appear to be within the weight limits. I will weight it as soon as I get the chance and put it out on video. 👍
Hi John, first thoughts, it feels smaller than the Wildax. 😉 still early days but it does feel small inside, great fridge and bathroom, loads of storage, but we were amazed at what we carried in the smaller Wildax. Yet to try the beds, will keep you posted with the videos 👍
Wow John, that’s some wait. Collected ours early December, it’s rained ever since 😫 we managed a Christmas Cruise just to get away. I must say the Rapido is a lot more quiet than the Wildax, from the engine compartment and is a joy to drive. Not long to go now John. I have already changes the back shelf to a sliding one so I can get to everything in the boot 😆😆 good luck collecting it 🤞
