EPIC Halibut fishing in Grays Canyon, Fathers day 2021. | OceanSportfishing Charters, Westport, WA.

The most epic fishing trip I have ever had. Me and my dad boarded the Nautical Vessel "Angler" at 3:45 a.m, and returned to port at 6 p.m.
I took sea sickness meds 24 hours prior to the trip (meclizine), and then again one hour before departure. I still got quite sick. Barfed for a while, but was able to stand up and catch my halibut, which was actually the very first fish caught on the boat of the day.
Afterwards the meds made me very sleepy, so I napped for two hours while everyone was catching ling cod.
Sadly I did not catch ling this day, but I did get out and caught several rock fish, which are fun to catch and one of my favorite fish to eat.
The boat ended up limiting out (except me on ling cod). We all caught our halibut though!!! 16 halibut on board!!!
