I almost broke down here. I've been blaming everything: the teacher, the TV, the Internet, my friends, the air, the weather and even my own intelligence. I keep saying "It's not for me" each time I fail a test. Now I know, how could I have known it 's not for me if I've never even tried in the first place?

With a lot of motivation lol. That was an Electricity&Magnetism exam. The system my University has is: 1 exam every week (Thursday). I usually study 20-25 hrs for them :)

When I'm tired of studying late, I listen to motivational speeches (I'm the kind of person which studies with music at max volume with earpods, so I can concentrate). When I head to the University to take the exam, I hear it too. It makes me go crazy and I take the test motivated.
Just remember, every single thing is payed back sooner or later.

I was studying maths so hard, I did almost all of the exercises, and I still failed. I feel depressed, sad and I just feel like dead. But something, just something is telling me to keep going. I basically gave it 100%, now Im gonna give it 150% and If I fail, Im like gonna kill myself. Exam in 8 days, wish me luck. Im gonna give it my all, I have to pass this time :(

+Joe Stars Keep on going bro :) I personally don't fail exams because everytime I study hard and watch to motivaional videos. These 2 combined = a powerful and positive state of mind. The feeling before an exam, for me, it's like knowing that I will pass it for sure, not even worried and this works everytime 100%. The power of your mind is immense. You just need to say to yourself that YOU CAN PASS IT or YOU ALREADY DID, IN YOUR MIND. You will be surprised how your mind can influence the result of the exam just by being positive about it.
I got two tests today as well. Haven't revised... Going sleep. Not the end of the world dude. Just keep going, learn from your mistakes and take advantage of them, practise on your weaknesses.

I remember listening to this last year just before my AS exams.
My school predicted my a BBDE just 2 months before my exams. They had no idea i would go on to achieve AAAA with predicted A*AA.
I hope i can motivate others in similar situations. But one thing you cannot ignore is sleepless hardwork. I put the work into it, very often eating only 1 meal per day and sleeping barely 3 hours each day and often dozing off in lessons and getting told off some more for "being lazy". But i can assure you once you achieve your aims, its the most satisfying feeling you will ever experience.

no. it is not healthy. But back then i was going all out which meant i wasnt paying much attention to my bad habits. For others id encourage a healthy cycle of hard work.
But i still advocate reducing sleeping hours to invest in studies.
Sometimes, it's just the teachers and the damn peer pressure.

I have a dream of becoming a doctor and saving the lives of children with cancer. High school I graduated with a 3.1 GPA and got an ACT score of 19. I slacked way too much. If you are in high school or even in college give it your all no matter what. I just finished my freshman year with a 3.78 GPA. My dreams are a long shot but I wont give up ever. Being good in studies and being good in exams are two different things and getting the highest GPA is not important. If you're able use your studies only in exams and not in real life then it's waste to study. Most of the greatest geniuses were not so much successful in exams. What if Newton wrote his laws on exam sheets? what if Einstien wrote E=mc2 on them? They would have failed! So don't show off your GPAs but show your passion on a particular subject you love, and it comes from your heart not from grades.
I start college tomorrow and this made me more motivated than I already am. LETS GO.

Ik work fulltime and go to college at night
I hired a man who helps me every saturday with math
I worked out 5x a week and do now only 1 session a week because I find my education more importent and because I just need the extra time to study
My dad did the EXACT same thing, only he had also a baby at home while he worked fulltime and went to school every night

I use the original video(the second part), every day. What really gets me is "don't count the cost", because when I count the cost of studying ALL DAY LONG, then I go to sleep right after studying only to wake up tomorrow and repeat, I don't want to do it.

I failed all my courses in university, 1 year of straight F's, almost got kicked from the university, was doing drugs and chilling. After watching this video and a bunch of other motivational videos, i transferred universities and now im getting straight A's. One semester left and i'll have my Bach. Degree in Engineering with honors. You could do anything you set your mind to but your gonna have to be willing to make sacrifices.
I drop out of high school, and decided to get my G.E.D. Now I'm in college and I love it! College is one of the greatest experiences of my life. In fact I'm in college, doing math homework. I'm here studyig for my next test. This really motivated me. Thanks!

You don't realize it yet. But that's when the voices come and you learn again how to get along With them. That's when you realize all that has to change is you. Knowledge = Power. I personally love to learn, I try my best in everything, and I open myself to amazing opportunities. From all the courses I took I've learned: robotics, automation, 3D printing ACAD design, autobody, mechanics, wood construction, I'm also a 1st year welder with blue book, professional driving skills, athletic sports, photography, mountain biker, downhill skier, honour roll student for academics. And I'm only 17. Imagine the great power of knowledge I'll have by the time I'm 30, if I keep my attitude positive.

Failed my exam today despite pushing out consistent A's and working hard for homework and graded assignment . But I will not back down , because when you failed , IT JUST SHOWS YOU HOW MUCH MORE YOU CAN STILL ACHIEVE . You're never at your limit , not close , you're so far , so far from success . But it means you can improve , you can still succeed at the end of the day , week , month or year . You can achieve so much more and failing is the first step to letting you know that .

Sometime I feel like we all are bunch of little sheep getting herd by an invisible force to do things we don't want to do... a sheep society at a larger picture. its sad.... but Im force to do these task so that way I can provide for my family.

Got 52% last year in math (precalculus), people told me to give up because i was "too dumb", and i would never be good at math unless i get a tutor. Year after that i decided to take AP cohort (which is precalculus and calculus combined + AP test at the end of the year which is the hardest test ever existed in math) taking cohort was the most riskiest decision of my life since that was considered the toughest course in my school, and i was in my semester so i needed good marks to get to a good university. Its been almost 3-4 months and i am getting 97%. If someone like me can change this much by Just putting a decent amount of effort, imagine what you guys can get if you put 100% into it. I have just got my numbers back of my exams, i didn't learn good for my exams. I've many inadequates and i feel like i want to die right now... but i've my second exams in January, and i will give everything what i got 100%! Wish me luck :(
My dream in life is to become a pilot I have got relatives that are pilots but they are my inspiration and I just need that extra motivational push and this video done it I'm only 15 and I'm doing my exams soon and this vid has really inspired me to work at my best of abilities, keep it up guys you are really changing the world your doing really well
This is motivating, but I don't agree with the statement, "Don't count the cost."
When you have options, counting the cost can help decide which is the best route.
Thinking of things in terms of cost vs benefit can be much more beneficial than straight out ignoring the cost. And once you've committed to something, if you're serious about it, the cost you calculated ahead of time won't matter. I think the best thing to do is to have the mindset to be able to deal with the cost, and the only reason to alter from a path is if a better one presents itself.

I guess I need this. Examweek is coming up and I wasn't able to prepare well because of shitty personal circumstances. Normally I always prepare several weeks before and now... I just can not find the energy and motivation to get up and get to work. Worst prepared examweek ever.

In grade 11 I decided that the only way I'll pass maths is by loving it, to make studying a bit less torturing, and eventually i starting liking maths even though it did not make it any easier. Now 4 years later I've failed maths in both my national bench marking tests, and mechanical engineering course. No matter how fucking hard I study or practice I always end up with a giant fuck you and left feeling like a disappointment to my family. I even traded allot of my damn study time for other subjects to focus on maths which made me fail one of the other subjects as well :( . Its so fucking unfair that my friends go partying and drinking while I study for the same stuff they have and they still get to pass, its been killing me inside from the very beginning. I'm getting more and more depressed with each passing day knowing I'm literally just too stupid for my dreams...
Wow. This gave me the motivation to improve from 5 D's to 4 of them being A's and 1 B
I've spent the last 2 years working myself death on a project outside of work and this video has kept me inspired many times. It's so true do not count the cost if you count the cost you might no do it! After 2 years I've finally found the funding I need to bring my product to the next level.

I get bad grades at maths, physics and when I get bad grade everyone laughs at me no one says it is ok my parents are angry no one supports me idk what to do anymore😭😭😭
