The Volkswagen dealership told me this battery needs to be programmed to the car . This is right or not ?

That’s not try and it’s bull shit the battery is only there as a power source to keep the vehicle mechanism running, if something needs to be programmed it’s either the abm sensor or a failed mechanism component on the vehicle, just replace the battery if needed you should be ok to go along with your day.that sneak at the dealership who told you is just trying to weasel away with your money this is what they do. I worked at a dealership for 13 that’s what they do.
