I've included a free gummy bear object as well as the complete yummy gummy material as a link with the tutorial as well.
Great tutorial, Travis! May I ask you which nvidia drivers are you currently on? I've upgrade from Octane 3.07 to the latest 4.01.1-R2 and Ihad to update my cuda drivers as well to the latest 417.35 but, while Octane 3.07 was nice and stable, I keep getting crashes and blue screen Watchdog with the new drivers.
Thank you ArgoBeats I usually always update my drivers whenever i get a chance, i'm on 417.35 right now. I've encountered maybe a handful of crashes as well as that blue screen with V4. It's somewhat stable but there is definitely frustration at times so i can relate.
Thank you, you are correct, my comments link wasn't working but the link in the description worked. Anyway, follow this link www.dropbox.com/s/x541vftzqkz9bcc/Yummy%20Gummy%20Shader%20%26%20Gummy%20Bear%20Created%20By%20Travis%20Davids.zip?dl=0
I tried recreating this scene in Houdini, but can't use the boxed projection through the Octane Nodes like it recommends in this video. If you use the boxed projection node the material will slide when the object moves, I need to create UVs through the houdini node section and not in the material level. However, Houdini does not have a uv boxed projection node, does anyone know how I would do this using the houdini uv nodes?
Hi, i'm a little bit confused, what are you curious about regarding this texture because i'm showing you how to create it and i even provided a download link for the material as well in the description.

Why don’t use control to duplicate in c4d?
I do, i started using this shortcut a lot more nowadays.
The link doesn't work.
Just tested it myself, the link is still working perfectly fine.
I'm curious about the texture.
Please let me know your email address.
