- The 2022 Hayabusa get a DIY fender delete for less than $10 dollars and in this video, I will step you through the process. Personally, a fender delete is usually one of the first modifications I make on all my bikes. A fender delete always improves the ecstatic's of a sport bike and the 2022 Hayabusa is no exception!

Awesome job MB, aluminium is so easy to work with, looks good and for that price, how could you complain 😁👍🏼
Thanks G, gonna make some adjustments to it in the future but yeah, can't really bitch for $10 bucks.
I may be a little childish but you saying bolt holes had me dying 😂. Good job and idea though. 👍🏾.
HaHa...nothing wrong with being a bit childish from time to time! Thx!
Great video man (except for the way you say aluminium) 😉
It definitely looks so much better, all these modern bikes have ridiculous plate holders, riders are always just going to rip it off, especially busa riders after seeing this 🤘stay safe mate
HaHa, thanks man, yes us yankees say it weird.
In Mexico and I enjoyed sitting and filming that busa lifestyle. Mexico busa 🎥 coming
Great vid so I brought all these thumbs ups 👍👍👍👍👍⚡🔥
LOL you have the gift of gab like I do 😂. Looks good!
My wife says the same, gift of gab.......LOL Thanks!
For $53 at T-REX it uses the stock LED and rubber grommet… took me 45 minute with their installation video…
Looks great also
Very nice. It's been a hot minute since I made this video, but I believe at the time I was having a hard time finding anything in terms of availability. Maybe it's time to get the t-rex and throw away my DIY solution. LOL
@@MonkeyButtRides Still liked your ingenuity!! Ride safe!

You have to have a light on your plate so it is illuminated at night. State police are aware of that fact and could cite you for having no plate illumination. I would just trim the fender and remove the side reflectors. That would clean the rear up and still be legal.
Very true.
I always like having a paper copy of a manual vs electronic…. Something about having those pages in hand seems like I’m more in control lol.
Looks good!
Yeah, I'm old fashioned that way to!
That looked easy enough. The number plate light is a requirement here in Aus, without it the bike is considered defective. anyhow, well done, MB. Cheers
Looks like the number plate is obscuring your brake light now? Is it? Here in Aus we have to have a number plate light.
I think it is but only slightly, or at least not so much I'm worried about the lights being visible but I'm gonna double check that now that you mention it. We are suppose to have one here as well but in most states there is no annual inspection for bikes and it's not strictly enforced. I don't have the lic plate light on my ZX10 either. My 97 GSXR 600 is really cool though, it has a piece of clear plastic underneath the brake light so the brake is dual purpose and provides the lic plate light so you can install a tail tidy and still have a lic plate light.
@@MonkeyButtRides OK fair enough. Your safety is all I really care about with this. We are completely over policed here. Very fussy.
@@MonkeyButtRides It is a chargeable offense here to remove the rear light - pretty heavy too - Rear lamps to illuminate number plate
(19) The lamp on the rear of a motor vehicle or trailer shall be of at least three candela and shall be so placed that it will, at any time from one-half hour before sunset to one-half hour after sunrise and at any other time when, due to insufficient light or unfavourable atmospheric conditions, persons and vehicles on the highway are not clearly discernible at a distance of 150 metres or less, illuminate the numbers on the number plate, or, if provision is made on the number plate or on any attachment furnished or required by the Ministry for affixing the lamp, it shall be affixed in the position or space provided, and the lamp shall face to the rear and reflect on the number plate a white light only. R.S.O. 1990, c. H.8, s. 62 (19).
Just sayin, cant you mount the light above the plate? possibly a long slim LED so you actually comply and still have the same effect.
I think it looks awesome personally.
@purdy man - I don't think it would be hard at all to mount the stock number plate light and I think it would still look good. I'm going to make some adjustments (shorten it up a bit with a different bend) in the future and maybe hook up the plate light then. It's not issue here so I'm not in a rush to make a change right now.
That is definitely a more cost effective way of doing it!! Especially since they want to charge you a crazy amount for a piece of steel!!
and now I can spend money on some other mod, I love mods...
Looks...... tidy 😁
Only reason I've never done tail tidys is the road condition here, its actually easier to leave the monster OEM ones on and they protect my back more from mud and dirt :(
They probably put the connector there on purpose :P
Not going to the mount I see on UA-cam on other busas where it's buried in under above the rear wheel :P
Yeah, just to mess with people, I can here the engineers now...."let's hide the smallest connector in here"..."yeah yeah, stick under the sub frame".
The best, when you can create and fabricate your own mods!
💯 and I'm a professional fabricator now!! 😂🤣
@@MonkeyButtRides 😂😂😂
LOL.....if you can afford the Gen3 Busa, just spend the $60 at Trex racing and get the nice powdercoated version, perfectly fabricated.....
If I remember correctly, at the time, I had a hard time finding any so I said f'ck it.
Can u just have a paper copy or have the license plate on u while riding I'm from cali
I don't think it's legal here but IDK, I wouldn't want to find out.
Jetzt sieht es definitiv noch hässlicher aus als vorher.
You think it's ugly now, this is an old video. You should see it today!
For my opinion looks like shit
Hey...that's totally fair...if you think it looks like shit...don't do it!!!
