Our rugby club sent off one of our players to a top conditioning clinic in London 10 years ago, this involved starting training at 5am but also involved having sleeps during the day as part of the recovery as well as eating every 2-3 hours (6000kcal for a 255lb player) He was a forward who has to make 30-40 tackles a game plus take the ball up like a running back 15+ times a game as well.
As mentioned in the video, sleep periods are massively crucial to help increase performance through training.
This young lady gets it in spades, I hope the on field performance reflects.

One time lined a ball from about 20 yards away that nailed her square in the face while she was totally oblivious and talking to a player . He quickly turned away to avoid getting caught and everyone was laughing . She got in his face and they nearly came to blows .Kitchens threw up his hands saying I hate this punk kid . Baker went and complained and they fired the portly coach and her but she has a discrimination lawsuit in so may stay with the team . Sad but true

Terrance Thomas You make a great point I wonder how much hold back there is by natural protection and fairness. Sometimes really strong truth comes out of men’s really strong emotion and language, many times not , but sometimes, has that every limited or distracted the process or enhance it more, by holding back and then therefore thinking through better. I will tell you this she’s no meg Ritchie stone though that was a great strength coach and strongest collegiate female athlete every. If her boys at Arizona could ever just clean 385 like meg they would’ve been a lot better.

She has a PHD in Physical Therapy and is an assistant? Should be a Head Strength Coach. There are a lot of head strength coaches that just have a bachelors and a cscs

And there are a lot of really strong men with no degree at all that have coached others to be really strong as well. The world of track and field is filled with coaches that don't have a degree in a sports related field of study. Degrees are cool, but the books are not always right in the world of performance.

Yeah books dont always make you a great coach but neither does just being a " strong man". If you check her resume, she had read more than a few books my friend.

Jeffrey Goldsmith she has a better education than Louie Simmons, Brian Shaw, ed Coan, Mark bell.... at Ohio university we had a lot of docs poking and prodding us. They never made us strong. In fact, NFL strength coaches are not trying to make you strong. Their job is to keep you healthy to play football. James Harrison has his own strength coach. He's moving weight. Not doing banded shrugs.

@@BadWolfMMANashvilleIm sorry but you are sort of contradicting your own theory. She is a physical therapist, so when you say an NFL strength coaches job is to keep you healthy, I am not sure their is a better fit, as that is what a PT does.
