      henryjw15 they typically get an accurate assumption...although yes they don’t always get it spot on...I played football and yes I’ve been injured and my trainer has typically been able to figure out what the injury is

    I heard that he diagnosed Patrick Mahomes dislocated knee cap on the field before the trainers could get to him. That is why they put it back in place on the field before the swelling settled in, which would have increased the recovery time he would have needed.

      Believe me bro, NFL teams have doctor's that have practiced medicine for many years and Athletic Trainers that know what they're doing. It's not because of him. Although it is admirable that he's an NFL player and a doctor.

      The NFL looks everywhere, don’t worry. If the talent is there, and you put yourself out there, the NFL is there. You can’t expect the league to know about something they can’t see or even knows is there. Plenty of Canadian players have played here in the states. I’m a Redskins fan and we won a SB with a Canadian QB aka Mark Rypien.

      Don't cut us short. Far more than two. And look up Jon Ryan although not drafted was a regular in 2008. I'm sure there are other examples but Jon went to the University of Regina in Canada and started punting in the NFL before Duvernet-Tardiff was even done high school

    It’s amazing to get drafted as a Canadian. It’s incredibly impressive to have that as well as graduate from McGill medicine. That’s an incredibly hard school to get into, let alone everything else he’s done. Congrats!!

    Mad respect for this man. I was a figure skater for nearly 10 years before I quit to go to university full time. I couldn't skate and concentrate on my degrees at the same time for me. I do have my doctorate and have been a professor for over 18 years and I love what I do, but I wish I could have done both at the same time. Good for this fella. He deserves to be very proud of such amazing accomplishments. Brilliant!!!

    This awesome man served as my doctor yesterday! I admit, ignorant as I am, that I did not know who he was at the time, and I immediately felt stupid when I went home and looked him up and saw what he had done. What a wonderful person he is!
