The mess from the KitchenAid mixer is because it was going too fast. Kneading on those machines is done at speed 2. I've had one for 31 years and it never walks, never spits out flour.

And I need it to knead for about 10 min til done

I have had my pro for two plus years and the smaller one for 20 years before. The pro on two can need that in five minutes for my two loaf recipe and never walks. It is a bit of a pain because the ingredients like to stick to the bottom and do walk up the hook. But, it does turn out the best rising dough. The recipe calls for a 60 minute first rise, and after punching and splitting the dough, another 40 minutes. The dough rises three inches above my bread pans before the 30 minute bake which makes the nicest loaves. I also use a straight razor to score the dough. I will say that whole I'm a kitchen aide fan, I do not like how I have to stop each time I need to add more flour, since the 600 pro doesn't come with a special pour spout. That and the ingredients not coming off the bottom, the way it walks up the hook, and if you're a little too soon or a little late in stopping the kneading process, you may not like your results.

I love my Wondermix--FOR BREAD. I bought a cheap stand mixer for everything else. This demonstration is ridiculous. He didn't give either mixer enough time for kneading. It wasn't a real recipe as he didn't add any yeast and was just dumping the flour into the bowls. Not a true test for either mixer.

If you can’t do an honest comparison..it seems you do not have confidence in your product. Who starts a flour recipe on high.

This company should be ashamed of doing a video like this. Learn how to use products before you bash them.

They know how to use it. They are misleading intentionally

@@chicayess yep. I laughed at how he exaggerated the whole thing with the KitchenAid. This did not convince me of anything because it was very biased to say the least

Awesome gadget. By the KitchenAid mixer for almost 30 years and it was still going strong. I love making artisan bread

Kitchenaid has a setting for mixing. He is not using that.

I can tell you that while he may have vested interest in the company, he is spot on. My wondermix is mia as I've moved so many times, but I am thinking about replacing it because of how good it is. I worked with a kitchenAid making peanut butter cookies. The mixer started dancing on the counter, and the motor got hot. Did I mention that I had the mixer set to speed 1? My Wondermix was a different story. I'm telling you if this blind guy can figure it out, anybody can do it. It almost seems too good to be true looking at the price tag, but I assure you it is not. I guess the only thing I am not a huge fan of is how noisy the motor is, but that is easily forgotten about when you see the results it consistently gives. The older kitchenAids were much better than the newer ones. I have a friend who had one in the kitchen at a church we used to go to. He would put his cinnamon roll recipe in there, turn it on, and come back 15 minutes later while it powered through the mix like nobody's business. But if you are like me who doesn't have access to one of the older ones, then this is your next best option.

He did mess with the kitchenaid fans here. I am a kitchenaid fan, but I get it. The 600 pro has to be run no higher than 2, the ingredients for bread dough is not fully picked up by the short dough hook it comes with, and when you help it, it does climb up the hook. You also have to stop the machine when adding extra flour. It is not the best machine for making yeast breads, but I've been using one for so long that I can make some pretty good bread. For someone new to the process, the 25 lb 600 pro might be a little daunting. Another thing, the bowl is a pain snapping it into place. Now, the problem with the wondermix is that the bowl is plastic, and it looks like it stretches just as much as the dough being made. Now, the kitchenaid only has a one year warranty anymore. It does not like running at 2. It bogs at 2. The wondermix does not bog. There are things the $500 600 pro may do better than the $150 wondermix, but dough making isn't one of them. It also weighs only 10 lbs. The attachments for the kitchenaid are not as expensive as the wondermix, and they work somewhat equally there as well. Neither one should be discounted. They each have their places. He just wanted to prove that the top heavy kithenaid will walk, which it will also do on 1 and 2.

Lol! "Same amount of flour!" Turned the kitchenaid on way too high for mixing and kneading dough, the dough sticks more to the sides of a steel bowl than a plastic bowl, obviously. You didn't mention how the mixing bowl on the wondermix was flexing while mixing, and never once showed the dough mixing in the wondermix, so how do we know how it actually combined? I do appreciate the seeing of the wondermix, but this video really didn't show my anything at all about how it's assembled, or actually mixes, etc.

geesh, you dumped near twice as much flour into the KitchenAid, and I mean dumped, plus you had it on too high a speed. And I'm no KitchenAid fan at all.. have a Bosch. Terrible review.

You didn’t explain why. It’s this: too much flour makes a dried out dough (duh lol) & turned up too fast a speed over mixes the dough & most assuredly makes a tougher dough. lol!! I believe in the Wonder Mixer but this demo is the worst fake comparison I’ve ever seen done. OMGosh!!! A real do over is needed for us experienced bakers. Don’t insult us with this & then claim your Chef Quality skills! For a Godly company you can do better & also appologize to us. Give us better. Also update to healthier oil to use bc canola & vegt oils now known to give us inflammation. & also not use agava bc now we’re told it damages the liver. Not sure if that is true but I use Stevia now & erythritol bc Stevia now known to kill Lymes disease. Thanks for reading & plz up date as i listened to Sue Beckers Cd yrs ago on real wheat berries bread & vowed to get one of her mills when i could.

This was a ridiculous and totally unfair demo. You should be ashamed. Kitchen Aid does not dance across the counter like this unless you have purposely rigged it to do so. Also lift the top which takes one second to do. I have a Wonder Mill. It’s a reasonably good mill. It has its flaws. This u fair demo in no way inspired me to purchase any further products from this company as they really showed themselves up here. If he is a Chef which I doubt he made a fool of himself.

Wow! First to comment! I have had experience with 3 different power size kitchen aids as well as kitchen aid's predecessor, the Kenwood Chef(which I still own) from the 1960's. kitchen aid has the exact same tools and bowl mechanism as the Chef. As a Canadian, I am very interested in the Wonder Mill and working on importing. Thanks for the bread dough demo.
