Come back again Mark, that was really fun. Some of those long pots you made were first class, and the two feet off the ground pack smash was my favourite 😄
There were still more than enough points on the table for Stephen to win it when they ended that fourth frame, though. So I guess they still weren't taking it to seriously!
Of all the players on the tour-Mark is my favorite personality-he doesn’t take himself too seriously.Plus he has a wicked sense of humor.Be a sad day when he decides to hang up his cue.
Such a privilege to see these two legends exchanging banter and trying to psyche each other out at crucial shots. I've got a feeling that this is part 1 of a 12-part series.
I love it that the club is full of people who enjoy snooker (obviously), but who don’t pay any attention that two of the best players ever on Earth are playing a few feet away.
Could watch them play each other every week, love the banter between them 😂 It's still in there as well when Stephen gets in the flow, that first frame in particular was a tasty watch
Stephen conceded a little early in frame 4; 41 points behind with 59 left on the table. :D Loved seeing you two absolute legends play, two players who made me love snooker for life.
Yes but there's a country mile between a great player and the champion (can you imagine that even Shaun Murphy never was even at top 2?). And Stephen can't be anything else but the champion. As he can't anymore (due to various reasons) - he's not a real pro anymore, sadly...
@@vykintasmorkvenas6839I was gonna scold you "how come Murphy wasn't in the top 2, he was World Champion". Then I checked wiki and boom, his max ranking was 3rd which a bit baffled me.
More best of fives against pros please. This was delightful. Best Stephen has played on the channel by some way, really interesting, great to see both really competitive. I think this would be a good way to introduce some of the lower ranked players too.
@6:13 Almost perfect recall of the top 8 in 2003/4: 1.Mark Williams 2.Stephen Hendry 3.Ronnie O'Sullivan 4.John Higgins 5.Stephen Lee 6.Ken Doherty 7.Peter Ebdon 8.Paul Hunter

I think marks general attitude towards playing makes him one of best ever. Once the game has finished he’s onto the next, not even thinking of the last game. Always playing the frame/game he’s in never focused on the loss or win. Just playing his best.
This was better than most championship finals. I was actually sad that Steven lost the best of five. 'O common Steven. This is what you used to do. This shot! From fifty behind'. Better than any hollywood movie scene.
What a wholesome vid to see these 2 goats just chatting it up n potting balls like its nothing. Love Mark's sense of humour n chemistry he has with Stephen 👌🏼🙌🏽
More than any other players, I love watching these two together (when not on TV, for obvious reasons!). The friendship, mutual respect and the banter they have is absolutely magic to watch! Greetings from Llanelli!
Love seeing top players in this relaxed format going for hard shots they'd usually refuse on the match table! When I used to play I had frames when I was playing normally and frames when I was just going for everything depending on my mood lol.
Brilliant watch. Miss the club environment, sadly disappeared for most of us. The club reminds me of years gone by playing full time. Nice to see it full with a great atmosphere, nothing like it.
He's one of a kind is Mark Williams. He has such a gentle way about him - it's almost like the balls agree to go into the pockets because they can't say no to him.
Stephen Hendry: "In the Masters you won't get away with a bad session" Also Stephen Hendry: Loses session 7-0, and comes back from 8-1 behind to win 9-8.
Mike Hallett did help him out a lot in that one. That made me realise how much it meant to win one of the big tournaments, so few players achieve that. Jimmy White cracked under the pressure of winning the world championships, Willie Thorne missed an easy blue, when he had a great chance to win the UK. The multiple winners, often get a lot of help from their opponents.
