When I Wake Up and crawl out of bed I'm Rockin to the Blues all day long. Kick up the Blues and play it loud for me. I know some people don't like loud music but I do and I will never change. It shakes me till I'm feeling good.
How can there be 24 people who take the time to find and listen to music on the internet and yet seemingly have no idea whatsoever what great music is? .. we sure live in a strange world
Check out tribute band 'rattlesnake shake' Also check out 'Little Barrie' their lead man, Barrie, is on here covering some of Danny's stuff and interview where he praises Danny🙂👍 Barrie also played as lead guitarist with primal scream after Robert Young left🙂👍 Also check out Dave Simpsons UA-cam vids, plays Greeny guitar and style in some 👍🙂
I carry them till Danny left in '72. He took them on a pretty cool run for three albums too. By the way that's him playing ALL the cool guitar parts. 90% of Then Play On is him. Peter Green said so himself in an interview.
Peter Green exhibits a direct connection between his head, hands his fingers and a higher power. His extended jams from music taken from the Then Play On LP are mind blowing. Here Peter utilizes Danny Kirwan's brilliant playing to extend "Rattlesnake Shake" and adding "Underway" into a wonderful jam which was before it's time. Great music from a legendary group, The Original Fleetwood. Mac. The Green God again shows why his music will last on dispute his passing in 2020. RIP Mr. Greenbaum
This jam is so superlative that it got me to thinking, what if there was a "Battle of the Band Jams"? Pick the best jam for each major jam band, Cream, This era Fleetwood Mac, Savoy Brown, Foghat, the Stones, the Grateful Dead, Little Feat, etc, take their best jam and let youtube fanatics vote for their favorite Jam. I'm saying this because there are so many great bands with incredible jams for us to listen. Which would be the best - it's a personal choice of course, but there are some ways to figure it out. Food for discussion.

The entire band was great, with Jeremy Spencer playing most of the brilliant slide guitar, and singing most of the great gut-bucket vocals. Jeremy didn't have the rock star looks of Peter, but he could play and sing along with him. Why do you think Peter allowed him in "his" band anyways - it's wasn't his good looks, rather he was the best blues guitarist and vocalist he could find at the time. !

this is the best music from that era now being slowly eroded away by the current tattooed and cell phone addicted generation, but if this insignificant planet can survive this music will survive also. This is great stuff but who actually cares anymore. the world is turning to darkness, I am so disturbed by it all
a while ago I had similar feelings - until I realised there was a simple solution - turn off the bloody television! Turn your back on the dickheads we all encounter too frequently in life & surround yourself with a small circle of respected friends. All the darkness comes from the sensationalised bullsh*t on the tv news. Life is a lot brighter without it. Thanks a lot to youtube! (insert sunshine here)
There are two Fleetwood Mac band, one with Peter Green and another whit Lindlay and Steve Nicks, completely different. I prefer the original. Also eard Peter and I am not sure that Clapton is better than Green. Peter, James and Danny are incredible.
Now THAT'S is MY Fleetwood Mac! Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac! :-)

Rattlesnake Shake is even better on the 2nd disc. It is over 27 minutes and Peter goes ballistic in the final minutes.
yes! Extended Rattlesnake Shake jam, in case 3.5 minutes isn’t long enough to jerk away your blues.
