I've always tuned in 5th's, but a whole step lower than C G D A. Mine is Bb F C G. (Still in fifths) When I play a first position C it comes out as a Bb. (No. I have never used "Chicago" or any other tuning except for the ONE time I made a video using "Eddie Freeman" tuning. It's tricky but I thought it would/might be interesting.
Nice of them to try to keep up. Never heard the bass player. Jeez, man, John just smoked the place down. He's a real force of nature. (I'm putting all these on my Itunes!)
Thanks. To be fair to everybody, this was the first time John had played with his brother in many years and, while Jim and Jack, the bass player play together all the time, this was the first time Jack had played with John.
Beautiful ❤
Thats so excellent,joyful,swingin,inventive...I want a double like button!
My favourite tenor guitar player.
John Lawlor's Jazz feel is untouchable - what hands !
Can we finally get a record of these guys please? So much nonsense is released every day - but I can not spend money on these gems!

Is there anyone better than this man on a tenor guitar ?
No, there is not.
Nope!
Well, it's a different genre, but this guy (Alessandro Penezzi) is also a beast: ua-cam.com/video/IStUpQSo32k/v-deo.html
