Over the weekend 40 randomly selected North Sydney residents were invited to come together for our second deliberative democracy forum, this time focusing on the affordability and availability of early childhood education and care.
We know this is a huge issue across North Sydney, where parents are paying up to $200 a day in fees.
Participants reviewed community submissions alongside advice from sector experts to ultimately come to a consensus on the reform that we in North Sydney should be fighting for.
I am so grateful to all who gave up their Sundays to work with me for the benefit of our community, our economy, and our kids.
