This woman would have you believe she is trying to walk the middle ground on this topic but listening to her carefully she wants controls on the populous, to regulate or control opinions she thinks are wrong or harmful. Her examples of misinformation were poor. She ultimately supports the legislation. People, logically, properly and convincingly defeating bad information is the way to defeat it, not through laws. Introducing laws on misinformation is political laziness. If politicians did there jobs properly with integrity miss and disinformation would be counteracted vastly better than any law will ever do. Which also points to the thought that they are simply doing this for control/power hungry reasons.

Thank you, I am ashamed to say that I voted for these traitors. I say traitors as this bill is a deliberate attempt to take away a most sacred right of the Australian people. When I voted for these people I cast my vote with the idea that I could trust Mr Albanese to protect our most cherished and sacred rights as Australians. This bill is unforgivable, it is an assault on our values and an attempt to weaken the Australian democracy and its people by silencing those who might disagree with, well who knows who. I ask myself, if this bill was to be approved would this post be deemed as misinformation and taken down. With this censorship bill, some people will be more equal than others by being exempt : 1) The government (how self serving) 2) The legacy media (a smart move, so that they do not complain about it) 3) Academics 4) I could be wrong on this but I believe that the government would be able to grant more exemptions to other organizations of its choosing (i.e. their friends) The above shows that this is done in pure bad faith, just in time for the next election and after the defeat of the referendum. If the objective was to eliminate disinformation, surely there would no exceptions, right ?
