Gen V has some cool moments but it's not that cool, the only really important thing is the virus that kills super and the last episode.

100% recommend watching Gen V before watching season 4 of the Boys. Not only because it is amazing but it looks like they are directly continuing some plot points from Gen V that you might be confused about if you don’t.

I had no idea Jeffrey Dean Morgan was going to me in this next season, he and Karl Urban in a scene together will be entirely too much gruff to get over. lol
Definitely have to watch Gen V. Its hugely important to season 4 and its a great show.
I hope Morgans playing an older, more experienced version of Billy, just a normal human that takes down supes and acts as a father figure. Im _certain_ Morgan and Kripke could handle a character like that lol

Tales from the Darkside is a George Romero produced show. I remember the song beeing so eerie as a kid when it was on. They play a bunch of it on tv Comet channel. It's kinda dated now but still alright.

Playing with that virus is pretty risky with Kimiko and Annie on board. But I wonder if you're onto something. If the Compound V in their systems could be neutralized, they should be safe.
We already know that the radiation that Soldier Boy produced could do that, so if they could replicate that radiation, that might work.
Also last season when Frenchie injected Kimiko with the Compound V, he only used half the vial, so potentially if they still have that dose, they could restore Kimiko and Annie's abilities if they wanted them back.
Gen v is canon and is basically just another season of the boys, for example the virus storyline started there. Idk why you haven't watched it already
