She hit the nail on the head “woman need to understand before they make a move.” So so true I never invested my hard working money until I did my research.

Suze Ormon is an American Treasure! She has helped legions of lay investors with practical information. Not everything she says is right though. So viewers need to be discerning.

I use cash for everything never credit cards.
I have zero debt paid off student loans in 6 yrs support my family off 69k salary.

Just friendly advice: you could save more money using a credit card that you pay on time, and if just starting out you could use cards with no annual fees while enjoying cash back rewards... Chase freedom flex, citi cash card, etc are all decent options as long as you pay on time... they all give at least 1% cash back (often up to 5% on select categories), so assuming 1% cashback for 6 yrs at 69k a year, you lost out on at least $1800 (assuming you only spent 30k a year), not counting sign on bonuses, improved credit score benefits, and other incentives offered by credit cards

@@mwd5233You would have to pay the total credit card charges in full every month to avoid interest increase. I agree about the 1% cash back. But you wouldn't be putting your entire yearly salary on credit card. Using a credit card tends to make you spend more than having cash in your pocket. Different things work for different people. We do both.
