Thanks for reacting to this song it makes me think of my grandpa because he adopted my mom and my dad was never in my life and my grandpa was always there for me and realized what a good man is
I must admit I usually tend to pay more attention to Keith's reaction during videos (Keith is usually more critical). I could tell who the stepdad was when as the song progressed, it showed the emotions of being a stepdad from Dustin. I love the realness in your guys' reactions. You guys are the best!
I was blessed to have a stepdad who gave me so much love and support growing up, loved me like I was his own, called me his daughter, never step daughter, he NEVER failed me. He was an alcoholic, my mom divorced him, he got sober, worked hard to get her back, never stopped being my dad during that time, he showed us how a man respects and treats his lady. He also gave me the greatest example of how to love a child I did not give birth to. My bio Dad was part of my life, but my stepdad was always more my Dad. We lost him last year and I’m still crushed. It’s a gift when that child trusts and loves you back. Also Miranda Lambert has two new songs. Dammit Randy and Wranglers
Welcome back. I’m glad you are back. We missed you. Good reaction, good song, good story. I’m basically over seas (but western) so I can tell you Country music is not popular here at all. In Germany Rock, Pop and Metal music is popular. Thank you for the reaction and I love that you guys are back.
Here’s some irony for you fellas. I’ve been following y’all since ya’ll had like 1k subscribers. Just found out a few weeks ago my wife is pregnant with our first child. We don’t know the gender yet, but the other day as we were headed to our first sonogram appointment, I stopped to get gas and this song was playing over the gas station speakers. I’ve heard this song played in concert when he opened for Brooks & Dunn, but now I feel like this is even more of a sign.
I all so have a stepson which he calls me dad and he was 8 years old when I met his mother the one I fell in love with and still I love with for the last 38 years
Really enjoyed this video. Good to see you guys and I really liked the song. Hope that your summer smooths out; thanks for taking the time to give us a new video.
Glad to see ya'll are back.At least until the next track day.I didn't remember the song until you started playing the video.Great song and video.Shout out to all the dad's out there.Selfishly I'm glad you didn't put it out on Father's Day.I wouldn't have been able to listen to it.We had my pops services the day before Father's Day.
I think this pairs perfectly with Brad Paisley's "He Didn't Have To Be"!
This was on TikTok a million times! But it was nice to see stepdads play the song for the son.. usually the kid would cry, almost every video ❤
