the game desperately needs display mats you can put a couple of junk items like these on to clutter the place up with. a few designs write themselves, little mats, ply wood boards in a few colours or just an invisible mat that we can place items on so we can place items with no set givaway placeholder. they had them in FO4 mods, there is no reason they couldnt add them to 76

you need to build a display case in your camp... then leave building mode... and interact with the diaplay... it will open your stash box and from there you select the item to display and display it. It is a straightforward process. If not shown when marked for display, it might be because the item is bugged, or because it is not "displayable". Most of the items are displayable but not all. I hope that I have helped you fellow vault dweller
@@reyposadas2030 as far as I know you were not able to do so, unless using displays. There are long explanations on Reddit. In short, you have to wait for quest items to be kept on dead bodies until the quests are completed. And then grab them.
first of all, I think displayed items should not take camp space because they are inside a display furniture already. second, I wish Bethesda would let us display more of items available in the game.

*creates video on where to find rare items* I guess I can hop on my little server here and collect everything once a day and then sell it in my shop to rubes like I do with all of my bow-tie bears.
Time to make some caps!
Anybody else here because of the chessboard that was added in the season?
Oh yeah buddy. Im goin ham. You in xbox?
There’s also a .308 casing at the top of the Rollercoaster in Camden Park.
At the top of the rollercoaster in a car, is the key you need to open the storage area at one end of the narrows bridge by the Creamery.
@@CharlesSmith-io9fp not that too. The top by the control panel for the ride. The one near the two wheel barrels for the Lucky Mucker daily quest
@@KetoFitChef I found the casing just fine. But if you follow the track around or jump to a car up there in the middle, the key to unlock the storeroom is sitting there. At the other end of the bridge in the unlocked storeroom is a note telling why the key is at Camden Park, and how to get it. I only thought of it when you mentioned Camden. It's not even that off topic since the key is a rare item.
@@CharlesSmith-io9fp not saying it was off topic. I thought you were saying that the key was up there, not the casing. Was just clarifying, just in case
@@KetoFitChef I found the casing pretty quick, I should have been clearer. I spent weeks before I found that darn note for the key.
Putting map locations even for a split second would make this video a 10/10 lol
950+ hrs and i just discovered you can enter vault 51 lol.
I didn’t know for awhile!

Thank you mate 👊🏻
Though people used it for a “glitch” that since seems patched, I did get an extra item from “vital equipment” that I put on display. The Portable Power Unit.
well there is the cool little motor that you can fined I think it souped up it says
Anyone ever find a clean-complete Giddyup?
the game desperately needs display mats you can put a couple of junk items like these on to clutter the place up with.
a few designs write themselves, little mats, ply wood boards in a few colours or just an invisible mat that we can place items on so we can place items with no set givaway placeholder.
they had them in FO4 mods, there is no reason they couldnt add them to 76
Yes please!
Do you have a video on building the enclave air ship?
I have all of them
Nice work!
With all the newbies imma make some caps with these 😂
I like using certain unique documents for display. There is also a red diary that's a stable in my displays
Edit 2024: this video has never been more relative then now with the chesboard 😂
Uranium, the comment you gave on this. Is it yours? It smells like a scam. If so let me know so I can report it
Where is this red diary? 👀
There's also a different lighthouse in an instance location in either Summersville or Morgantown. I forget at the moment which
Great video
Thanks mate!
So, you can place these items in a display case? Are there any restrictions?
All the items shown can be displayed! Most frustrating restrictions are around instruments. I listed the ones which can.. but the violin, both guitars and accordion can be picked up but not displayed. No idea why!
I have the super mutant head, but i have no idea where i got it from
Inside a barrel inside the tunnels in the Radiation Rumble event, sadly these parts are exploded jibs and not recognisably a Super Mutant.
@@Hopalongtom I've got the whole set of super mutant parts. Last time I tried to get any though it seemed like the head may not be able to be collectable anymore or at least that was the case at the time me and a friend were trying to get the head for someone.
I’ve been seeing people display items in the three level clean display shelves. I tried putting items in it and it wouldn’t let me. Anyone know how?
This isn’t a “found” item, but a nice display item is one you get from a ghoul you encounter in the Toxic Valley, Dr. Bethy Mangano.
You can either get a Medium or High Int Rock from talking to her to display. Looks pretty cool imo
Is that a random encounter?
@@VAULT-TEC_INC. I don’t think so. I’m not sure if she’s always there, but it’s in the same location. She can be located under a tent behind the Clarksburg Church.
Sentry not model pretty cool since it’s the old fallout 3 one
The .308 has been in the dry lake bed next to a rock near the green boat between new gad and the dam
I found mostly all of those but didn’t know you can display them I’ve been scraping them
I've been looking for clean mr. Gusty fuel forever.
The most difficult and rare item is the unused bucket there’s only one in the game.
It’s in the enclave behind the cage.
It’s rare because you are not allowed back there.
hallo schönes video
Just missing a mr gusty model got all the bears and mr fuzzys I’m making a hoarders museum can’t help it hahaha
Vault 51 is amazing for clean junk
The "Dove Necklace" is also a unique display item, but it glitches out in display cases.
This may be a newbie question but how can you display items you pick up?
you need to build a display case in your camp... then leave building mode... and interact with the diaplay... it will open your stash box and from there you select the item to display and display it. It is a straightforward process. If not shown when marked for display, it might be because the item is bugged, or because it is not "displayable". Most of the items are displayable but not all. I hope that I have helped you fellow vault dweller
@@johnnatandc thank you for the tip. But what I referred to was how can you display stuff you pick up like on shelves or is that not possible anymore?
@@reyposadas2030 as far as I know you were not able to do so, unless using displays. As it is now, you need to place displays and then place them from the interact menu of the display... that is if you want to display junk or misc items... if you want to disaply buildable items... you can do so under floor decor
@@johnnatandc yeah that's what I came to conclusions last night staying up late before I have to come to work. I remember seeing many settlements where I walk into where they have items on shelves or couches even on desks but I only wondered how they got that so I'm assuming it's probably get some plans they got overtime
@@reyposadas2030 no, most floor decors can be placed on top of things... However for displays it is messy... So when they add a plant on a shelf they do a glitch that helps them place the items... It is a weird glitch that I don't know how to do well... You can find It in YT though
How do I take the items out of the Pitt to display in my camp? I've seen them in people's displays.
There are long explanations on Reddit. In short, you have to wait for quest items to be kept on dead bodies until the quests are completed. And then grab them.
you can get the robot models in the house of pi up the stairs set up as a chess game
Didn't know food dehydrator was a rare item, passed up 2 of them so far 😩
first of all, I think displayed items should not take camp space because they are inside a display furniture already.
second, I wish Bethesda would let us display more of items available in the game.
Gooooood!!!!
There's no option to place junk items in C.A.M.P so what am I missing here?
Display cases you can show some junk items
@@UraniumFever76 How do I get those? I need to make like... 50...
@@JaronOdele There are building plans you can get in the game world from robot vendors or other player vendors, or from the Atom Shop occasionally. Open your camp building menu and look under the “Displays” tab
I have the rarest item in the entire game still. Scorched Ashes. 😗
Will trade for a 2 shot EX Minigun or Handmade. 😁
I've been playing 76 since beta... I've never looked for items to display. I cant even imagine how many of them I scraped without thinking about it... lol whoops
Where do I get the display cases shown at the end or any others to place my cool items.
The white plate
Anyone on ps I'll trade a red asylum 1 to 1 for a pet rock
I'm new to this game so.. how do you display these items from your inventory?
You have to have to learn a plan for a display shelf or case or buy one from the Atomic Shop. You build it in your camp and then click on it and a menu will appear and displayable objects will appear and you can select them.
@VAULT-TEC now I feel stupid.. I thought it was a magic trick of pulling stuff from junk inventory and placing it or something..haha.. thanks for the reply and keep up the videos
Don't forget the irradiated dynamite found in tunnel of love
Birb
I’m new to the game, how do you actually place this stuff down in your camp without the stuff shooting all other the place 😂
You need to use a display case mate haha!
I am recently new to fallout 76 havent played since launch but arent all these junk items how does one display them in their camp?
Help. My Stash is a Nightmare because of the displays. 😂
The stash cost of display items is too high for me. 😂
Nice guide, but you always must put the map, dude. Many of us are new players.
Sorry mate, I do forget sometimes. Anything in particular you were interested in? Il see if I can find a link for you
I am still pissed that I accidentally scrapped all of my robot models 😭
Almost sad how we went to all the work to get this stuff and almost every single item you can grab on expeditions in Atlantic City. Bethesda has lost their way.
Sigh. All this work to skin these items and put them in game as junk. You should be able to place all this stuff on tables, shelves etc.
