Fallout was my introduction to retrofuturism as a concept. Of course I grew up watching The Jetsons and The Incredibles, but Fallout's mid-century Atomic Age retro style left a huge impression on me and was one of the reasons I fell in love with the series.

Great to see you expanding the brand! To clarify, will the original picsandportraits channel now ONLY be sleepcore? Tbh I originally subscribed for your video essays but noticed the sleepcore tends to get more views. Makes sense for you to diversify to prevent confusion with new subscribers, but I hope this new channel gains some traction too! You are SEVERELY underrated.

For the immediate future, the original channel will just be Sleepcore and I hope to build this one up over the next few months. Hopefully a video every two weeks here and a video on the original channel every week.

There's a mod for FO3 and NV called "CONELRAD 640-1240" which has songs mostly about "the bomb" and some about space, with some commercials in between. It's my default station when I'm roaming the Mojave and almost wishing for a nuclear winter
